This was a Christmas Gift for my Son Dave. He was pleased with the outcome of his passionate nursing of this IPA. He visited with a 6 - pack today and we both enjoyed an afternoon with a couple of bottles each. Looking forward to his brewing of the Goose Island Sweet Porter which we gave him for Christmas. Since he retired last year and I have been retired for the last 30 we both enjoy a good Beer. Joe Piette.

Tasty

Highest gravity beer that I have ever brewed. This beer is awesome. Floral hop aroma is awesome. The bitter is just right. Definitely worth a try. I didn't achieve full gravity due to rushing this for a family visit but will definitely try it again ( finished at 7.7).

This is an extract beer kit. It comes with Liquid Malt Extract that is so good, I could eat it with a spoon. It also has specialty grains that give this beer a character unlike anything to be found at your supermarket. It is audaciously hoppy. The kit comes with instructions in the box so a brewer can not mess it up. The only way a brewer can go wrong is failure to maintain sanitation. (Buy some sanitizer from Northern Brewer.)

Very good

Wasn't great 3 weeks after bottling. After 3 months in the bottle, it might just be the best IPA I've had. Balanced itself out nicely. Let it age and you won't be disappointed.

Spot on clone

This is worth every penny and all the time it takes. Tastes like hop candy yummm. Got a bottle of Pliney from a friend in Santa Rosa and did a taste test. This is spot on. A little darker than the real thing but . . . I will definitely have another brew day with this kit.

Excellent Citrus IPA

Epic! Going to buy more through northern brewer. Lots of hops.. want to add more sugar next time for higher ABV.. :)

Not necessary but would gave been nice to know

Delicious beer! Step by step instructions guiding you all the way through to drinking day. Only part that wasn't clear was having two carboys to ferment in. Not necessary but would gave been nice to know.

Perfect home brew IPA

After a couple of 5 gallon batches using this recipe it has become one of my favorites. Next batch will be kegged to bypass bottle conditioning. Add a pound of corn sugar to the boil to bump up the abv by about 1 percent if you want a stronger brew. Love this stuff!
