Just Right

I work in an office that is more like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears when it comes to temperature. One runs cold, one is just right and I run too hot. This fan is the perfect way to keep air circulating in my immediate area. The size is a major plus with the OPOLAR mini. This small metal fan is barely noticeable whether in use or not. The one speed fan is not the most quiet, but I'm a fan (har har) of a steady hum. It won't annoy or interfere with phone conversations. The one-speed does a good job of getting air moving and the fan itself can be adjusted up and down to direct air where you need it. Overall, I'm impressed with the power this mini packs into one fan. I would definitely recommend this product.

Terrific little fans: well made, powerful and QUIET.

These are surprisingly efficient little fans! They are made of metal - not plastic - and seem very well constructed. I accidentally knocked one off my desk, right after turning it on for the first time, and it didn't skip a beat. It's positioned about four feet away and still delivers a lovely focused breeze. For me, the best "bonus feature" is that it is so quiet. I've tried setting it different places to see if it would vibrate and make noise - but even when perched on a stack of CD cases, it's still virtually silent. The second fan is going on my bedside table, to take the place of the much noisier 8 inch fan that's there now. This delivers just the right amount of air flow without the annoying hum. I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised.

LOVE THIS! VERY QUIET :)

This is the best fan for my desk ever. Whoever worked my desk before me left a 4" Hawaiian breeze fan, and it was so terrible. It made a bunch of noise and was ugly. This fan that I just purchased it great! It plugs right into the USB port on my desk top at work, and it is so quiet (compared to my previous one) so it doesn't bug anyone in the cubicle next to me! In the picture, one blade looks pink, but they're all the same color I swear, haha. It was just the glare of the lighting. This pic shows it next to an average sized water bottle. Love this product, would definitely recommend and buy again.

Love my baby airplane.

Despite the fact that it sounds like I have a baby airplane at my desk, it is the best baby airplane to have ever airplaned. So much so that I gifted them to a couple other coworkers, and they too love this fan. It gets pretty warm and stuffy on our floor, and one of my guys is always complaining about it. But no more! Keep in mind, there's only one speed, but this one speed is perfect for me. That one speed keeps a few of us from overheating at our desks, and there have been times I've even been cold...so it does its job. And the ASMR of the baby airplane fan is lovely.

Very Nice. I Recommed It If You're looking for a Sturdy Desktop Fan

I was looking for a small USB powered fan that I could sit on the desk top and that had variable speed. This fan doesn't have variable speed, but the airflow direction is adjustable by tilting the fan up or down. If I don't want as much air blowing on me I just tilt the fan down towards the table which diffuses the airflow causing only a light breeze to reach me, or if I want more cooling air I tilt it up and let it blow directly on me. This method controls the airflow perfectly which in the end is all I wanted anyway. I can fine tune airflow even better than with a standard two-stage switch which is what most fans use for speed control. This little fan is very sturdy with the frame, cage and blades all made of metal, so there are no worries about it breaking if it ever gets knocked over. I would recommend this fan to anyone who is looking for a good desktop fan. The entire fan including the stand/frame is around 7 inches across and about 3" deep. The integrated cord is about 42" long give or take an inch or two.

Great USB Powered Fan

This is the coolest little fan that has a large capacity to blow air. I was looking for a small USB powered fan that I could use at work as my office gets very hot in the afternoon as well as at other times. I also run swim meets and it gets very hot at the pool - the fan helps to keep us cool while sitting for so long! I was very impressed with the fan as it is all metal including metal blades. I did not want a fan with plastic housing and plastic blades. I also needed it to be powered by a USB port as plugs are not readily available. The fan housing is a nice shiny black and blades are silver. The USB cord is about 3 feet long. The fan itself is about 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall. It is quiet when running and surprisingly moves a lot of air. I like the fact that it is small, portable, and easy to move and use. I just plug it into the USB Port, press the on switch, and feel the comfort of a nice breeze! Overall, I am very pleased with this item and would buy it again. Reviewed by G. Great if used in the proper setting

It does move a decent amount of air, but the fan is louder than I expected. Seems like it is as loud as my laptop when the fans are at full blast. It's loud enough where I am now looking for a replacement for it. Update: I originally had this in my study to cool down components, it was too loud for somewhere that is silent. Using an android app, this registered around 55 dBA. I started using this for my bedroom to give me extra cooling and a bit of white noise, it actually works great for this purpose. I got another one to use at work. I am a nurse so I use this on my WOW (workstation on wheels). The environment is noisy, so the noise from the fan is no bother. The great thing is that it runs by usb, so I can attach it directly to the computer. This really does help during those busy times. So my suggestion is to use this in the proper environment and it would be great for you.

excellent product

I bought it for camping. I happen to camp in a converted truck topper. I used it all night powered by a batter pack i picked up at walmart. My other two fans are pretty good but eat D batteries. I will be buying another soon. Upgraded to 5 stars. It runs on my Goal Zero solar panel. The cord is long enough to keep the panel in the sun and the fan in the shade. Will buy another.

Small well built fan!

These fans are exactly what I expected! They are well built with metal blades and housing, can be powered by pc, hub, brick or usb outlet. The fans run pretty quiet for the power it puts out, has an on/off switch on the back of the fan and not the wire like some. I’ve used them for a desk fan as well as a fan for my dog in the summer. For a time there I also used it to keep electronics cool for my game consoles and cable boxes. My knocks on the fan are the length of the cord, although reasonable I’m stretching to find flaws. My other comment would be an option for speed control, however again I’m stretching to find something semi negative about this awesome product. For the price, there’s nothing to compare it with!

Great, Quiet Fan and Exceptional Customer Service

I work in an old building where we are not allowed to regulate the temperature. I have sweaters and the like to keep me from freezing when it's too cold, but I needed something for the hot days because I really can't deal with the heat (would much prefer to freeze!). I knew I needed a fan, but since I work at the front of my office and greet every individual that comes through, I needed one that wasn't too large and was fairly quiet. I've been impressed with this one! I have two screens at my desk and this fits nicely underneath my larger monitor (with it extended all the way, and this works for me because I am tall and need the monitors to sit higher). Since I bought it in black, it blends in pretty nicely and most people can't even tell I have a fan or if it's on. The output is more than enough to keep you cool at your desk. The noise is minimal, you likely wouldn't be able to hear it unless you were a few feet away. It also plugs into a USB which is nice. I had an issue with my fan (it kept dying then coming back to life), contacted OPOLAR, and had a response in less than 24 hours to say they'd be happy to replace it.
