- The value must have 2x barlow lens doubles the magnification of any 1.25 inch eyepiece;double the capacity of an existing set eyepieces at the cost of a single eyepiece
- The apochromatic barlow lens provide a high power magnification allow you look more closely and more detailed at the moon's surface and other planet
- 2 element one group broadband green film multi coated optical glass;the housing is blackened to maximize image contrast;both that gets high quality observation without additional chromatic aberration;make image more crisp and sharp
- Quality aluminum stock and black anodized body with M42x0.75mm thread;work as a t adapter;connect DSLR or SLR camera to telescope easily via a separate sale t ring adapter
- Connect DSLR SLR camera to telescope easily;the T ring adapter you buy separately depending on the model of camera

Excellent choice - especially compared to one from Meade
I have used this with Celestron COSMOS FirstScope Telescope for several months with satisfactory experience; and you can't beat the price. However, I hesitated in writing a review because I am inexperienced with telescopes despite good general knowledge about optics. But a recent encounter with Meade Instruments 216005 Polaris 127 EQ Reflector Telescope (Blue) has boosted my confidence, as I can compare this side by side with a Meade Barlow, on two different telesscopes. The construct of this product, metal body and all, is very refined compared with the plastic body that comes with Meade. My untrained eyes cannot detect visible aberration in this VITE Barlow. In contrast, the Meade Barlow gives very obvious chromatic aberration when I tested both Barlows on Cosmos FirstScope as well as on Polaris 127EQ. Meade is an established brand name. So this comparison weighs a lot in my mind even though Polaris is in Meade's low-end. Update: I have since used this VITE on a much better telescope SkyWatcher S11600 Traditional Dobsonian 6-Inch (White). The scope's collimated parabolic mirror provides clearer images on the edge of field of view so it is easier to evaluate quality. I stack the 2x Barlow with the 20mm Kellner from the FirstScope and compare with the 10mm Plössl that comes with SkyWatcher. FirstScope's eyepieces are not as good as SkyWatcher's; stacking two optical elements together is generally worse that one piece of the same focal length. Even so, the Barlow combination compares favourably. (The picture of Jupiter and its four Galilean satellites is taken with the 4mm from VITE Telescope Eyepiece Set Aspheric 4/10/23mm 1.25" Wide Angle 62-Deg Fully Coated for Astronomical Telescope and the 2x Barlow on FirstScope.)

A decent Barlow for a really great price.
AS most experienced astronomers will tell you, the cost of something is often an idication of the value. In this case, though, I'd say that the value is found not just in the price but in the overall construction of this lens. I purchased this unit to keep with a travelling telescope I take with me from time to time when I travel for business. It's a nice fit with a tabletop telescope, and I am glad I bought it.

Amazing good piece at such low price!
Usually low price always means low quality but it does not apply on this product. It is well made with solid metal and optical is surprisingly good. I got even better image by using this one with telescope’s own 9mm lens than the celestron x-cell 5mm eyepiece. Hard to believe but it does happen. I really want to return my expensive eyepiece.

Bang for the buck!
I'm using Apertura AD8 and I have a 9 mm lense . I used this to get it down to 4.5 mm . The quality is really good. Got to see Jupiter and moon very clearly ..

Very clear view
I'm very much impressed with this 2x Barlow. It's all metal body as described by the seller. I also at the same time purchased the Meade Series 4000 Filter: ND96 and was using both items at the same time with the Meade filter screwed to the front of the erect image prism to view the Moon, and was amazed to see the Moon with so much details with the bright light all filtered out. The Vite 2x Barlow was very helpful to me especially for using those low powered eyepieces e.g. the Gosky 32mm and these sets of eyepieces Gosky 6mm 12.5mm 20mm. I got up this morning approx 1:30 AM and could not go back to sleep and decided to walk out my back step and what did I saw was both Saturn and Mars with the Moon approx 30 degrees (i.e. from the horizon to the Moon) setting at the west. I decided to take my Meade 90mm AZ Refractor Telescope and view those planets. I was really amazed, it's the first time I've ever seen Saturn & its rings using all the eyepieces mentioned earlier and best of all using this 2x Barlow Lens to bring the planets so close that I can see so much although its very far. I also had a good long look of Mars and was all excited about my short night events. A few nights ago I also viewed Jupiter using this 2x Barlow Lens and was also amazed with so much details to see the bands on Jupiter and seeing 4 of Jupiter's Moon. I was able to see more clearly with this Vite 2x Barlow than the one which came with my Telescope. Some reviewer complained that it's blurry probably its his/her fault by mishandling or it could be a manufacturers defect, but I beg to differ as the 2x Barlow that came with my Telescope is not as good as this Vite 2x, very clear and good wide enough viewing using my eyepieces. I'm very happy with this item and will recommend it to any newbies who likes the challenge to being an amateur astronomer.

Excellent
Finally got clear skies to test this out and I'm not disappointed. For the price, the quality is very good, on par with some brand name ones. It works really well in my telescope with no glare or light scatter detected, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality barlow without breaking the bank.

I purchased this to replace the poor quality 3x barlow I had with a telescope purchase
I purchased this to replace the poor quality 3x barlow I had with a telescope purchase. The difference is like night and day! This is a high quality eyepiece and appears to be sturdily constructed from metal (the one I had with the scope was largely plastic). I have only used this once so far when viewing Jupiter, and I was very happy with the results.

SVBONY 2x 1.25" Extender
Excellent addition to my assortment of lenses and attachments. It provides clear viewing and does bring objects I closer for better viewing. I am now purchasing a 3.5 x extender and a 4 mm lens.

Really a good value for the money.
This is a great value for the money. It is of good quality and is fully multi-coated. The lens portion unscrews from the body and will give you about a 50% gain in magnification screwed into the bottom of whatever eyepiece you are using. So an eyepiece that gives 20x by itself will give 30x. You can also use the body of the barlow itself ahead of the eyepiece and gain a closer focus than what you could obtain otherwise. Handy if you need to have a closer focus than what you can obtain otherwise. So with a 20mm eyepiece on my 80/f5 I get 20x. Using the bottom lens screwed into the eyepiece I get 30x. Used normally with the eyepiece inside the barlow I get 40x. It is definitely a good value for the money and likely equal to the "name brand" units that cost about double of what this sells for on Amazon. I compared to the "name brand" and they seem to me to be about equal in quality if this is slightly better due to being multi-coated while my old one is just regular "blue" coated.
