i did a bit of research before buying the TERAPUMP. it appeared as if buying manual pumps, or anything cheaper would not be as effective. what i read made sense; & i wanted to get something that could be used again in the future. my main req't was to recoup the 5 gallons of gas i had poured into my generator that was no longer req'd once the power had returned to my house & i didn't need the generator. the TERAPUMP worked as promised, which is more than one can usually expect these days, right? i did make sure to purchase model TRHA03 vs the '01' model, as i had read in a post that the difference was significant (sorry i don't have that review handy, to cite).

Many uses. I Have a hospital aquarium I used it on to empty when I was finished with the tank. It was a ten gallon and empty the tank very fast. It has a bare bottom and no issues there. Don't use with gravel. I have a small beta tank I use on, better than dragging out the other hoses. Drain anything fast.

I’ve used it for about 2 weeks now. I can say this a easy to use pump. Picks up prime easily & drains easily. It doesn’t recommend it but it pumps up from the ground up to the gas tank on our car. About 3’ up.

It's an inexpensive unit that uses double aa batteries (very convenient) and works quite well if you're pumping say 5 gallons or less. It will pump as many gallons as you want but somewhat slowly. If you need to pump out a lot of liquid you may want to get a commercial pump. I'm pleased and would recommend it for transferring liquids under say 5 gallons. steve

Pretty neat little pump!! It’s so quiet you can’t hear it pumping. The best thing about it is I don’t overfill my generator’s tank because it shuts off as soon as the fuel level rises to the filler hose the beeps to let you know it’s filled. Be sure your fuel can has a wide mouth to allow the impeller housing to pass thru. I use a marine fuel tank with a wide mouth. Works magnificently.

A friend of mine bought me one of these and I used it so much that I bought one for my sister and one from my older brother. You still have to get the 5 gallon gas can to your point of use but no more holding it up while filling the tank and the automatic cut off is great. A must have for use older folks to take a little lifting out of our busy lives. Highly recommended.

This pump is a true game changer. I read the reviews and was excited to get mine, and it still exceeded expectation. I recently tweaked my lower back, and was dreading having to lift my 5 gallon gas can to refill our riding mower; I knew there had to be a better way. This Tera pump is no games; it pumps very quickly, has nice built-in sensor to prevent overflow. I recommend this pump to everyone.

Bought this after last year's hurricane here in South Florida. I had 8 -5 gallon tanks plus 10 gallons in my generator. I used this to almost 99% to empty my Generac generator and also the 8-5 gallon tanks. It worked 100% correctly and then I used it to transfer the unneeded gas back into my car''s gas tank. There were no leaks, no failures and it was a snap to use as it came fully put together and all I needed to add were batteries.

I love this product. I bought this for pumping gas into my generator from a container. This i did pretty much every other day for the past 6-7 weeks. One pair of batteries later that long. I've also used it to put gas into the vehicle. The flow is constant and strong and the automatic shot down function when the gas reaches the nuzzle is a welcomed feature, since i can pump gas unattended. Will definitely recommend or buy again. In fact i plan to try the water pump next.

The pump worked very well! I have a basement entry drain that is tied to our Radon Mitigation system, so when water is puddled, I have to manually bail the area. This pump turned 25 minutes of actively bailing water into 3 minutes of sitting next to the bucket while the pump does all the work! What a great tool!
