Top quality - of the dozens I own. Ymmv tho!
I purchased the camel/black color. Nov-2016 After reading through the reviews I think it's pretty clear the seller sources these Shemaghs from miltiple/various suppliers. I apparently got lucky. I have over a dozen shemaghs that I've picked up over the last 7 years from various websites, ebay, amazon, etc. And the Shemagh I received is one of the highest quality I own. It's thick, soft, and has a tight uniform weave. I have a feeling a lot of the sellers source these from various suppliers because all the reviews are hit and miss. Mine didn't have a made in China sticker on it like another review stated theirs had. The packaging was basic and there were no labels. I wouldn't hesitate to order more of these if I knew I was getting more of equal quality. I live in Utah and it's been hovering around 10 degrees F here. I've been wearing it around my neck and it keeps me very warm. I also have overly sensitive skin and haven't had any irritation issues. [Sensitive like I have to use special detergent, dove soap, be careful of what lotions I use, cant lay on the floor of anyones house, have to wash all store bought clothes and sheets before using/wearing them etc. Very sensitive] I did wash it in my front load washer on a normal cycle with the rest of my clothes right when I received it. (I hung dried it btw) Another reviewer said he got a rash on his forehead from wearing his before washing it first. So I think with any Shemagh purchase it's a coin toss. I hope you get as lucky as I did, but chances are you wont. I placed my order late November 2016. So if you order camel/black right now you'll probably get a good one! Happy holidays!

Great shemagh
Does what it's intended for. Head wrap, neck scarf, sweat mop. You name it. Decent quality, material is thin enough to feel breathable and still protect from the sun. Only complaint is how long the 'frills' are. But not enough to dock the rating.

Excellent
Excellent piece. Worked very well with the look I was going for.

Do you know how about a Shemagh?
Some of the ratings don't seem to get how this wonderful garment works! You need to wash and dry this garment 6 times. THAT is when it takes on the characteristics that make it wonderful. I got mine Thursday and popped it in the washer-dryer three times and the color is still perfect, though I wash it in COLD setting and light dryer setting. It is cold here in Denver and I gave away my shemagh to a lady that was here for surgery and was cold.

Liked these much better than rated masks for burning man
Got two of these for burning man, and I got a rated dust mask as well. I used the rated mask once, and used these the rest of the time. They are SO MUCH COOLER. Like physically cooler, but they look awesome, too. In the heat, not having sweaty rubber all over your face had such freakin' value. I didn't wear it over my hair, just tied it over my mouth and nose, then tied it down around my neck to keep it from blowing up. There were significant dust storms this year, and it worked great. During the really intense whiteouts, I folded the fabric up so I was breathing through 4 layers, and it worked. Got home, no playa lung. Next time, not bothering with the rated masks, just bringing these.

Nice Scarf/Shemagh, not thick
Nice Scarf/Shemagh, not thick, which I like. Comes folded up in clear plastic envelope square. Easily can stuff this in a gear bag or cargo pocket. Made ok, don't expect a fine hand made scarf from sheep wool. I use it to keep gun powder and blowing dust out of my nose and mouth while target shooting, works great! Does have a "tactical look", if that's what you're looking for? I would recommend and purchase again, price is right, good value, you'll be happy with it!

Comfortable and works well
I bought this to protect my face and more importantly my sinuses during sandstorms in Kuwait. It does the job pretty well. For extended exposure to sand storms, I would recommend a dust mask underneath it since some dust still manages to get through, even with it doubled up across your face. However that's nothing compared to how much it blocks out. It also fits comfortably and doesn't cause me any itching like some people have complained of.

Great Utility Scarf
I bought this because I thought it was a cool, steampunk-looking accessory. After it arrived I realized that it was so much more than that and I learned so many cool ways to tie and wrap this from videos on YouTube. I plan on keeping this with my hiking backpack now instead of with my normal scarves!

It fulfills it's role perfectly.
I will not vote this 1 star; and heres why. Many people complain about how this isn't the thickest material, and the weave is bad so it falls apart easier, compared to professional middle eastern shemaghs. And heres the thing; there 100% correct. The weave on this isn't good, and after very little use I can see the stitching already begin to come apart, and can tell it's begun to come apart. But it does exactly what it was advertised to do. The colors look great, and they do not fade. I got the product in prestine condition, with no rips or missing fabric. They wash and dry great, and don't need any special attention, which would be required for a "traditional" shemagh. This is a mass produced item made for those that would like to own a piece of culture, or a nice looking fashion accessory. This IS NOT a traditionally made Shemagh with the purpose of sheltering you from the weather of a middle eastern desert; and never once was I left with that impression before buying it. So again, yes this product has it's flaws. However, the price does not lie. This is not the best shemagh you can find; however it fulfills it's role perfectly. Do not be put off buying this item by reviewers that demand all items be perfect and traditional. This is not a $80 shemagh hand crafted by someone in Palestine. This item is exactly what it's supposed to be; And I recommend it to all.
