Purchased a white LED and blue LED over a month ago and have not had any problems. I used the lights to replace the built in fluorescent lights on a Biocube 8 aquarium. Fitting the lights into the lid of the Biocube was easy with a couple of zip-ties after removing the original lighting. The lights provide plenty of light for the aquarium. The lights are supposed to be submersible, I have not submersed the lights so I cannot provide good feedback when it comes to submersing the lights. Looking at the lights they appear to have a good seal so that you can submerse the lights.

I bought the Mingdak 11" blue LED light for my 10 gallon aquarium. I have it on a timer, where it comes on in the morning about 30 minutes before the main white LED light comes on, then turns off around 11:00pm after the main white LED turns off for the evening. As with other Mingdak lights, these are submersible and have an on/off switch and the power cable. The 11" version is very bright. That is why I dont leave it on 24hrs a day in my 10 gallon tank. It would also be great for even a 20-30 gallon tank. I would purchase it again. For a 10 gallon tank, the smaller version would also work well. Whichever length you buy, they are a very good buy.

My kids had a small 5 gallon tank in the hallway outside their bedroom that they used also as a nightlight. We got a bigger tank for free that someone was getting rid of but the light shorted out and I either needed a new lid (expensive) or I could buy a new light. I decided on buying a light and found this one for a great price on Amazon. When it arrived it was carefully packed and well padded. I put it in the aquarium kind of high up, right on the water line. It does a great job of illuminating our tank with a bluish color, it's not super bright that it would keep my kids up but it's bright enough that you can see most of the tank easily at night. We have a 15 gallon tank, I think this kind of light would be good for 15 gallons or less. Any more than that and you would need to just it just as accent lighting.

This blue LED black Light is awesome. It's super small (18") so it's light-weight and easy to conceal in your tank. But it's also very powerful and does a great job of illuminated my 15 gallon vertical tank. Very pleased, especially given the price. And the English-as-a-second-language directions are hysterical. I'll be sure to properly apply my "sucking disks."

Perfect, cause my aquarium Hood light went out. Be careful and notice if it's the white led or blue LED which ever you prefer. It looks better and light speads over tank if anchored above the top of aquarium glass, my aquarium about 15 inches across I bought 7 inch. I wish I had gotten it a little longer but keeping what I got. I had no lights. I like the white lights.

I've only had this light a few days, but so far the light is working great. I wanted something for a moon light for my 120Gallon Cube. This light was quite a bit brighter than I expected. I ended up shining it up into the reflector of my main light to make it more disperse. I'll probably 3d print some clips or covers to shade some of the LED bulbs to make it even dimmer. The switch is close to the power plug, but that's not an issue in my setup. If you're wanting to manually turn it on/off then it may be a concern. I plan on just leaving it on 24-7 as the main lighting in my tank can easily overpower this light during the day. UPDATE: I know it's only been a week. The light is still working well, except it was way too bright for a moon light... even on my 30" deep tank. I ended up 3d printing some clip-on covers to cover most of the LEDs on the light. My corals are doing their 'night' thing and sending out their feelers again. The shrimp are coming out more at night as well.

LOVE this light! I bought one for a 29 gallon and one for a 55 gallon aquarium. Lights them both up great! The 29 gallon is brighter, of course, so I tipped the light to shine more to the back and the 55 gallon one I placed to light up one side of it to keep the other side darker. Placed in the middle, it will light up the whole aquarium! I really love these lights and so do the fish! I have them set to come on in the early evening so I don't have to see the bright lights. Calming effect.

I have a 55 gal. Saltwater and wanted for a moon nite light. It sits in my kitchen and can be seen from living room. I debated about going with a longer unit they offer but glad I did not...it is perfect. Does not over power the tank or the room. I have a wood canopy so i mounted it facing down angled towards the back. The suction cups allow you to rotate for the effect you want. Everyone that comes at night is blown away by the color and some of my corrals and polyps glow on their ends...awesome light. Put on a low cost timer so it turns on when my main light times off.

I live on a dangerous turn and have multiple vehicles totaled because of speeding driver's car accidents. I was looking around for a weatherproof blue light but not something that flashes like a strobe. I've decided to buy this and mounted on the fence in front of the property. (Do not mount it to any vehicle or you can get cited for impersonating a police officer) Needless to say, vehicles slow down now, big difference. Some jackasses will still speed but at least this toned it down quite a bit. If I can save my property and help save other people's lives I'll do just that. I know this is probably not a review you would expect for a fish tank light but the blue does the trick. I'm buying a bigger one for myself and another one for my neighbor down the street that lives on the other death corner turn.

I have been using this light in my 10 gallon fish tank for a few months now and I really enjoy it. It attaches to the glass with two suction cups, which allow you to adjust the direction that the light is shining. It works well to bring out the colors of my glow fish and neon tetras.
