This is the 2nd one that I have purchased...first for this car. Previous one was pretty faded after 2 years and 35k miles. I shot this one with a quick clearcoat for better longevity. Time will tell if it helps. If not, they're cheap enough so I'll just buy another one.

2nd go round with this -last one lasted 2-1/2 yrs in the Central Valley of Cali at my ranch near Yosemite park- dust n 115 degrees n ya! Buy this! Nice touch for the family Audi n 3m tape has held up well thru car washes n elements. Cool product n oh so unique.

Neat Emblem Stays In Place!

I bought this for my husbands new Audi TT and he was actually really happy about this emblem. After he placed it on the grill it has not budged at all. He constantly puts the car through the automated washes and drives like a speed racer at times and it's still exactly where it was placed.

Depending on how you plan to mount this it is a really nice little eight dollar addition to my car. The things they give you to mount it I did not trust to not use I use my own material for mounting but I love this little badge

I have this on the grill of my GTI. Everyone is always asking me where I got my "aftermarket grill" and complimenting me on it. When in reality it's the stock grill with this emblem on it lol. Great small product to really put some charachter into your German car.

adds a classy touch to the grill of a nostalgic e30. The flag and the holder comes as two separate pieces with 3m adhesive installed on both. I did not need the holder since the grill on e30 is flat. The adhesive is very strong so make sure you put it on at one try.

GERMAN BADGE FOR GERMAN CARS

Pretty cool German flag emblem, I read the reviews and decide to see if I could improve on the problems people had with it. First I went out to the nearest home improvement store to get some 3M double tape and a spray can of clear paint. I attached the small adapter clip the badge came with, with some small hardware (nut & screw) I had in lying around in my garage to the cars front grill. The metal clip has already the small hole in it. I drilled a small hole on the grill of the car, I thought it would be a very good idea to make sure it holds so it wouldn't fly off when I hit spurts of over 120mph. I also added 3M tape around the back top part of the metal clip which attaches to the badge. (Basically the 3M tape is wrapped around the clip) I left about 1" 3M hanging out the sides which is the part that will stick to the badge. the badge is very secure. I put on a couple of coats of clear to the badge it hopes of it will improve the fading part but only time will tell. So far it's been holding strong and had no issues with it, even when it gets the car wash. Looks cool and I'm happy the way it turned out ...Just make sure if you clear coated wait a whole day before putting it on just to make sure the clear coat is fully dry, I learn this the hard way :) also the badge is not that stiff so be careful of not bending it. P.s its a GERMAN flag not Belgium P.s.s Been on for months and the emblem still has it's bright colors and has not budge :)

Perfect Touch!

I think this is exactly what my GTI was missing! Very well built, only gripe was that it can be slightly confusing to install. It comes with a bracket containing adhesive as well as adhesive on the actual emblem itself. You’ll need to be EXTREMELY careful pulling the adhesive from the emblem as it can separate from the foam if you aren’t careful.
