It works

The battery in my HP laptop was shot after 7 years so I went looking for a new one. I selected This battery because of the reviews, it cost a few bucks more than some but still less than what HP wanted. It's only been in the machine for a week or so but I'm happy with my choice. I'll let you know how it's working in a ayear or two, that will be the real test.

I feel like this battery should be replaced under a warranty

I purchased this battery in January and it already stopped working. It literally worked for 3 month, then stopped. I would have never purchased this particular one if I knew I was only going to get 3 months out of it. I feel like this battery should be replaced under a warranty. *Update on my review: I could not ask for better customer service! The company is sending me at new battery! They definitely value their customers!

Great battery for the price

I am very pleased with this laptop battery replacement. My HP Notebook, 15in, is working very well now. I use it for work primarily and run Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Products, and do internet browsing, and some specific application work. The laptop performs well, the battery discharges consistently, and I may have to go through Lively three to four hours of battery life. If I use video applications like YouTube or watch a movie then my battery life decreased around 2 hours but that's still understandable and works well for me.

First Impressions? Great battery for a great price.

I ordered this battery for my nephew's 5yr old hand me down laptop. His battery was completely dead. The battery not only came full charged, it held that charge for 3+ hours, which was better than this laptop had when it was new. After a full discharge, we charged it back up in an hour or so. It's only been used for two days, but so far, it is working as expected. The build quality looks great and it fit as if it was an OEM part. The battery does not heat up during charging, always a good sign given the cheap electronics some folks use these days in their replacement parts. Time will tell, but so far, it is working great.

thank you so very much hmmmm i had ordered this battery before and for some reason it was not recharging was able to return and hassle free might i add, but when i ordered the second one i also ordered the power supply cord as well now a laptop that was on its way out the door can stay

The Lazarus Effect

This replacement battery brought my laptop back from the dead. I had not recognized the signs of an incipient battery failure, so I was surprised one morning recently with the laptop being totally nonresponsive. The DTK battery arrived on schedule, was a snap :-) to install, and has the laptop performing in ways I hadn't known I had gradually lost. Too early to tell about battery life, but for now I'm very pleased.

Great replacement battery for a fraction of the price.

This is the 2nd replacement battery for my HP 4540s. The first one just stopped charging. The second battery fell & broke. I have been using the laptop without the battery. However it has been an inconvenience especially when traveling. So I decided to give it One More Try & for the price, this is a no brainer. I charged the new one last night. It works like a charm.
