Works great. I like that it has an on/off switch, because I don't need it to be pulling power unnecessarily. The voltmeter is okay; an ammeter would've benefitted me more. Plug stays firm in car socket. For folks who smoke, the addition of the cigarette lighter adapter is a big plus, I'm sure. Newer cars don't come standard with those anymore.

Ordered on November 13, 2016 and still working great as of today January 8. 2018. No issues with battery drainage, fuse, overheating and overcharging. Installed upside-down next to gear box and middle console. Easy access to power on/off, and add/remove USB cords. Always use 3 ports 1-2 hr per day and multiple 12hr long trips. 2 x 12V/24V cigarette lighter sockets for GPS and Escort Radar Detector 1 x USB 2.4A for iPhone 6s Plus

I'm a professional driver and run all manner of electronic gizmos in my truck, a pair of GPS, my phone, a dashcam, CB radio, a 110 voltage inverter, a Bluetooth headset, a bluetooth speaker and an Amazon Alexa device. So this is my go-to spot to plug them all in. It sits in the sunglasses slot in my dash and I plug it in to my hot-all-the-time 12v outlet and I'm good to go. I've had a number of cheap-o splitters and outlet multipliers that last a few weeks or months then crap out and got tired of replacing them so I ordered this from Amazon and no more troubles.

This is a well designed and high quality product. It is solid in the hand and has the heft that shows quality materials used. At first, i didnt know where the fuse was. On of my car camera power supplies is bad and when i plugged it in, the fuse blew. I unscrewed the tip ( where most items like this have aminiture cartridge fuse) to find a heavy duty braid soldered to the button. On further inspection I found the 10 amp fuse embedded in the side of the plug. What a great idea! Common auto fuse so it is easy to find a fuze and no dissasembly required to change it.

Arrived as described and expected. Nice unit and no problems so far. One small thing I would change: The rubber dust caps for each 12 volt cigarette socket only have a *very* small tab to pull on to get the cap out of the socket to use it. Neither I nor my kids can get a hold of that little tab with our fingers. I ended up having to use tweezers to grab hold of them to pull them out. I promptly cut them off after this. It's no big deal to me though. A dust cover for these outlets isn't that important IMHO. The unit seems well made and is very sleek and nice looking. One thing I don't understand though. The instructions say to keep the wattage use below 200. The LCD screen on the unit however, only shows the voltage output from the car, generally 13.4 for me. I see no way to switch the LCD display to show the wattage it is using in order to know when I have too many things plugged in. Anyone know how to do this? There is only one switch on the unit that I can see; on & off.

I love this thing. I charge 2 smart phones and my surface pro 4 and run my gps along with other random devices I need charged through out my work day. I have been using it for about 6 months with very few issues. Keep an eye on the voltage meter for the car battery(not an amp meter) because charging that many devices will drain your car battery when the car is not running. I try not to let it get lower than 12.3. The high amp capability of this device has really helped a lot as I can get my phone a decent charge in a short amount of time while I drive between job sites. I am writing this review at the moment because I had to purchase a 2nd unit since my work van got broken into today and it was stolen. I realized this thing is such a life saver I had to replace it. Thoughtful design Quality build Great versatility Fair price

I travel a great deal for my job. Most of it is OTR. Driving a car long distances requires, in these electronic times, a source of reliable and "safe" power for a variety of accessories. Whether it is simply charging your phone or utilizing several devices that improve the quality of your travel. I found myself in need of this exact product. The car I normally travel in I had hard wired and fused for two pieces of equipment and in addition to that I used its two factory cigarette lighter sockets for two other electronic devices. I switched cars for work and found myself with only one lighter socket in the new car..... I did a lot of research and, as I was not allowed to hard wire the new car, I found the BESTEK 3-Socket 200W 12V/24V DC unit. I checked the fuse allotted by the car manufacturer for the one lighter and it was sufficient to support the BESTEK and utilize it to the maximum of its capabilities. The BESTEK arrived and I was impressed with the packaging. It was professionally boxed with detailed instructions included. I was pleased with the apparent heavy gauge of the wiring. The extra length of wire from the car's cigarette lighter socket to the 3-Socket adapter is a very and useful feature. The head that plugs in is fused and the unit comes with an extra fuse. I like the voltage display. It reads accurate compared to the second meter that I also run. Please be aware of the unit’s maximum current draw. Set up was fast and it worked from the start with no problems. I have over 500 miles on it now and that is running it most every mile. I am still working on a final mounting location. Right now I like the flexibility of being able to move as necessary. The quality is there. The price is competitive. The convenience is worth every penny paid. In addition to the product being so great I have had very positive communication with the seller. I am a consumer and have purchased this unit. I am not sponsored or in any way compensated by BESTEK. I am just a delighted customer who wanted to help others out. Hope this helps someone.

Works as advertised. I tested the voltage reading of the unit compared to calipers, and was pleasantly surprised how accurate the on board reading was. The unit is built well, and is of good form factor for tucking into the storage of your dash. Wish it came with some sort of mounting adhesive strips, but the fact it doesn't is not a big deal. The location of the fuse is genius, and makes it extremely easy to replace if you need to do so. I'm powering a Viofo A119S dash cam, phone charger (USB), and a construction light beacon off the 12volt adapter. Powers all concurrently flawlessly.

I've had this direct wired into my truck for more than a year. Great product, well built. I only wish that there was a better way to attach it than having you epoxy it to my center console so it doesn't move. I have had numerous things plugged in and never had issues.

I’m a sales rep so I bought a igloo electric cooler that plugs into a cigarette lighter so I have 2 or 3 thing I needed to plug into the outlet so I bought a different brand was very cheap and got hot and keep blowing a fuse so I found this one and it’s perfect never gets hot works perfect for my cell phone charger and Bluetooth and cooler has an on and off switch and as well a display showing the volts your car is putting out to your components
