Thank you for the great service I received Great response too Received the gift as promised Thank you again Merry Christmas to you all

I received this telescope free in exchange for an honest review, and here it is... This telescope arrived in many pieces and was quite intimidating. It wouldn't have been so bad except the instructions on it were quite lacking. In fact there is very little written out at all. Only a large picture card showing the steps to assembly. Though everything was pretty much there, it was still seriously lacking in any other explanation should you need it. Your success at getting this all together will depend on your experience with such matters as this. For me, a long time graduate of putting together toys and such late into the wee hours on Christmas eve, I got the job done. Your mileage may vary. In any event, there is a very helpful video available online with much better instructions as to putting this very model together. I have included the link to it in a comment to this review. (Amazon sometimes has a way of deleting web links in their reviews, but they get through in the comments)... Once I did get this together it was wonderful getting used to this and learning how to really get the best out of it. There are three lenses of different magnification and all of them will come off as much more powerful than any kind of binoculars...Although this really is designed to look at the stars and planets with, it can be used on the coast to look at ships at sea, birds and wildlife off an overlook, distance mountain peaks, and/or any other place where high magnification is the way to go. We took this to the coast here and it was excellent viewing the ships on the far horizon, as well as the seals in the bay. As for the heavens, we have had some excellent weather here as of late...Clear cool conditions, with it still getting cold at night. There is no better time to view the stars then on clear cold nights when there is no fog or humidity. Getting used to using this and all its controls, lenses, etc is really all about just familiarizing yourself with them. And, getting used to the movement of a telescope when zeroing in on a distant star, planet, etc..That's where the excellent controls on this come in where a slight movement on your part can take in thousands of miles in space. This makes it easy once you're used to it. What a wonder it has been using this and am looking forward to many years of service with this piece. I haven't see the moon through something like this since I was a kid. And this really seems to bring it right into your back yard. It's construction to me is excellent, the lenses on it superior, and the controls very user friendly. Altogether and excellent telescope that I can highly recommend... Footnote: Don't forget to check the comment section for a link to that excellent video on assembling this...

Excellent product! good quality and great price. It is well made and perfect to take to a camping trip. I am not a pro but I didnt mind the price for the great product I got

This is a great telescope for a novice. My family and I have been thoroughly enjoying this, and have used it at least 7 times since we recieved it. We had the once in a lifetime experience of looking at the strawberry moon during the summer solstice, it looked amazing! The Gskyer Refractor 400×80mm comes with 3 eyepieces, a 5mm a 10mm and a 25mm, it also comes with a 3x Barlow lens which allows you to basically magnify those lenses times 3. This Gskyer telescope comes with a tripod that is adjustable, and also a little plastic tray that fits between the tripod. This shelf was great to put our other lenses when not in use, and very easy to find in the dark, and locks the tripod in place. It folds with ease, and stores nicely. The instructions to assemble this telescope were very easy to use, we had no problems with putting this together out of the box. There are no instructions however on use. Once you find the celestial body you are looking for, this telescope locks nicely so it won't move left, right, up or down. The handle on this makes moving in any direction smooth, and once you find what you are looking for it locks down easy with the turn of your wrist. To make finding planets easier for you I would recommend starting with the moon, calibrate the moon into the Eyepiece using the crosshairs. Once you have the moon lined up correctly, you should be able to see the moon in both the finder, and also the actual telescope. Once we made this adjustment, finding mars was rather easy. My son who is 4 wants to be an astronaut and go to mars, so this was very exciting for him. Mars looks very small in the telescope, and looks orange, and bright in color. It is very cool to see, and he was thrilled. The moon was the most amazing to us, especially the children, this telescope makes looking at the moon seem like you can just reach out and touch it its so close and amazingingly clear. I never knew there was a spot in the bottom right hand of the moon that looked like a Starburst. It is amazing. My 4 year old son thought it was pretty cool, and my 10 year old daughter didn't want to give the telescope up to anybody lol. The focus was so easy to use both of ny children could use it. The lenses come each in their own plastic case, with lids that keep them secure so as not to break them, and each lens comes with its own dust cover. This Gysker telescope makes looking at star clusters easy, and just generally looking around in space. We have not used this yet in nature, with I really look foreward to doing. We live by Joshua tree national park, and can't wait to take this up there and look around from the top of jumbo rocks, or at keys view. I think this would be a wonderful telescope to look at a comet, that is also something we will have to look up and see when the next one passes the earth. I think this telescope is built very well, it is nice and sturdy, and I feel will last for many years to come. The one thing my husband would have liked is the legs to he able to expand and be taller. He is 6'2 and he said he had to bend over so far it made viewing uncomfortable for him. We took 3 milk crates and placed them under each leg to make it taller for him to view. Other than that we think this telescope is wonderful, and have thoroughly enjoyed it as a family. I recieved this telescope for free in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own and I am not compensated for my opinion.

So easy to put together and such an awesome view. I got for my boyfriend as a present. He loves it!

Very happy with this purchase, great telescope for the price and works great!

Excellent item, very pleased fast shipping great quality, seller 100% recommended.. Thanks

wonderful quality and enjoyment

Got this telescope quickly, well packaged, and had it up 100% assembled in under 15 minutes. I am an amateur astronomer with a little extra ambition and drive so I decided to seek out a telescope that would suit both close up objects and some further distanced items. I get very precise views of little clusters of craters on the moon with the 5mm eyepiece and 3x Barlow lens together, it is a bit harder to find the exact focus as you amp up the magnification but the slow motion focus knob gets you a clear image at any level as long as you're patient and have a steady hand! As far as the tripod goes I have had no problems as of yet, it is a sturdy build especially when the tray is mounted in between the legs. Be careful though that you don't screw the legs too tightly or the screw may come out, I learned the hard way and now have just 2 screws of 3, but a small clamp works until I can get it fixed, and I'm sure it is not to fault of the manufacturer, rather that I excessively tightened the screw. As of now I have nothing bad to say about the scope. The moon pic below is using just the 25mm eyepiece and barlow 3x lens.
