My favorite!!!! The organic cotton bunches up in the crotch, but this one never does. It is fluffy and thick (I size up in pants), soaks up a ton, the fleece keeps baby from feeling too wet and it drys quicker than other brands! Oh... and it doesn’t hold stains, which is a bonus!!! I really love this system. My review on the hook and loop liner gives more details, but after trying a multitude of other brands and systems, this has become a favorite.

We use the GroVia hybrid diapers, along with a few other brands and GroVia is, by far, our favorite. These organic inserts are VERY absorbent and as such, they take a really long time to dry - I spent one whole day drying these on "no heat" in the dryer and they were still just as wet as when I took them out of the washer. I also dried them outside, all afternoon, 2 cycles in the dryer on "low heat" and another afternoon outside and they still weren't dry. I can't really complain about it because they're just super absorbent. I've found that flipping them inside out and drying them on low heat for a few cycles has been doing a better job at getting them dry. I prefer the GroVia Stay Dry soakers to these for a few reasons: These take longer to dry, I think the Stay Dry inserts feel better (I understand this is very personal) but I think the Stay Dry soakers do a better job of keeping my baby feeling dry and these stain much easier than the Stay Dry soakers. My husband prefers the Organic soakers and they do a really good job, so I gave them 5 stars, even though I like the Stay Dry soakers better. I have a feeling these will be really great for older babies to get them ready to potty train since they can feel when they're wet. GroVia is a really awesome company, so you can't go wrong with any of their products!

I find to review a specific GroVia product without also talking about the whole GroVia line to be difficult and not as helpful. I believe many of their products can be mixed with other brands, but for the most part we use just GroVia. Overall I'm very please with GroVia. I went with them because of the versatility they had built into their lines; we use the Hybrid Diapers. We started using cloth diapers at 3 months and are still very happy with them at 19 months. At home and for the first two diaper changes out of the house we use a shell and cloth liner with BioLiner. I only carry an extra 2 cloth diapers with us when we are out, I don't really want to be carrying more then 3 dirty diapers around with me; after that we use BioSoakers. About 95 percent of the time the two cloth diaper changes is enough to get us home again. When we travel we also use BioSoakers, which is a nice middle ground between cloth and fully disposable. Both my husband and I are comfortable with the cloth diapers at home or out and it is very rare that we have a sitter, (I understand this is not a luxury or desire most people have). What we have found that works the best for us is to have two of each shell, (not that it really matters that they match), and we always have the next diaper prepped and ready to go on our daughter. After she is re-diapered we then worry about taking care of the dirty one. This system has also made other relatives comfortable enough to do cloth diaper changes too; some times calling us in to take care of the dirty diaper. As for the Organic Soaker Pads specifically, they are part of a great system. After more then a year of use they are holding up strong, with now problems so far. They are also just was white as the day we got them. We don't have a dryer and there for line dry everything, but even for people with a dryer I would find some place in the sun to line dry these at least occasionally. The sun does a great job bleaching out any stains that might have still been left after the wash and they look great. -- I would and have recommend GroVia and their Hybrid Diapers to anyone interested in cloth diapers.

Super soft. Absorbent even for an over night diaper. The soaker pad is designed with leak prevention in mind with elastic leg "gussets" and a water proof backing. They also dry easily because the 2 layers are only attached at each. I love the idea of using cotton diapers for my baby over the synthetic. Plan to wash and dry them at least 4 times before first use. The more you wash and dry them, the more absorbent they are.

In my opinion this is the only soaker pads to purchase. I have the others and the no-prep soakers are doing fantastic. I do have a commerical grade washer and dryer with antibacterial setting and I believe that's the only reason I have no stain ever. I wash every other day.

Love the softness of these. I have a large diaper stash and these are my travel dipes. I love the ease of changing the soaker and not the shell. I will say that these have not been great for my heavy wetter at night, so I have added the nighttime insert on top of this and.... YES, we've had a dry baby in the morning. These wash and dry better and no rash in the thighs. The previous soakers gave my youngest a rash in the thighs where the leg gussets rubbed (leg gussets aren't supposed to touch the skin, but my baby's got some rolls, so we can't avoid it.) I do recommend these. Please note, if you are an AIO diaper user, you might find these to be cumbersome. My husband NEVER changes the insert... he uses these as an AIO b/c he hates the "WORK" of pulling out the soaker and resnapping in a new one. But, hey, he never really complains about cloth diapering...even when he has to wash a blow out in the sink, so I don't mind him using these as AIOs!

I am a Stay at home Mother so my choice to cloth diaper was made more out of trying to save our budget than anything. I started using these diapers when they were called GroBabies. They've recently become "Gro Via" but are the same products. I compared for hours in a local shop that carried several brands of cloth diapers, we looked at Snaps/Pockets/Pre-Folds and basically any other brand we could. What drew me into this particular brand though was the convenience. My boys can generally last an entire day on one shell, with just changing the inserts. A pocket diaper you have to change the entire thing. This means I can get by on 5 shells and about 15 soakers per child in about a day and a half/two days. It's been a huge budget saver, but I have also noticed my children hardly ever get a diaper rash. I also love the ability for the diapers to "Grow" with my children with their snap features. Admittedly I had preemie children so it wasn't until my babies were in huggies size 1 that we could start using our cloth diapers but it all worked out. I have some friends that had 8 pound children who said their daughter was able to wear her diapers immediately. I love the ability to add in some extra soakers as needed too! My babies started out in them at about 2 months (When they gained enough weight) and my 18 month old still uses his. I will also add that my oldest is starting to potty train at 18 months old because he knows he is wet, and doesn't like it. So that was a nice perk! I bought 5 shells, and 15 soakers (20 in total because 5 soakers came with the shells) and those lasted my 18 month old from 2 months to now. When our second son arrived I ordered his also, and he is still wearing his obviously. We wash diapers about every other day.

We have tried all the cloth diaper systems, and we are happiest with (1) green mountain fitteds with covers and (2) GroVia covers with snap in pads. We first got our GroVia covers to wear over the fitted diapers, and later bought the soaker pads just to try - very glad we did. It's even easier to swap out these pads than switch a fitted. There's no leakage. After reading other reviews, I bought these over the organic cotton soaker pads because they stay drier against the skin and don't take as long in the dryer. We currently have the hook and loop (velcro) diaper covers and they fit very comfortably on our 6mo, 18lb daughter; she's been wearing them since she sized out of her newborn fitteds, around 12lbs. There's no leakage from the gussets and there's no elastic imprints on the skin on her back (my only criticism of her Rumparooz covers). Happy to answer any questions about how these stack up against other systems.

Don't bother with any others, they're junk. But these are great and so is the system. Use disposables for the first few weeks, you'll have enough on your plate as a new parent. We do one wash first thing in the morning, No stains, no bleach and if fitted properly no leaks we own 16 of these and 7 covers. My wife initially had some leak issues but we both use the same technique and it works, must be snug around the leg, don't worry so much about the waistband. Yes they are bulky but just go up a size and all clothes with the exception of denim fit. If you want a sleeker look, use the disposable insert, (it's what we do on days out anyway)
