I use these in place of the Medela flappy thing and yellow piece. This works so much better! I think these parts have helped contribute to a happy breastfeeding relationship. In increases the suction on my pump and I'm about to get more milk out. Love them!

I was concerned my Medela PISA was losing suction because I was starting to get less and less at my one daily pump session. I cleaned my pump and replaced the membranes with Medela ones - no difference. I'd heard good things about duckbill valves, so decided to try these before calling Medela for service. Very glad I did. Now I'm back to getting the amount I expect - maybe even a tiny bit more! I definitely would recommend them.

I am fortunate enough to have both the Spectra S2 and Medela Pump in Style Advanced sets to use. The Spectra I use while I am at home, and when I am working away from home, I use the Medela Pump. I love that I can use these on both pumps - saves me time and money! It is very similar to the Spectra S2 duckbill valve, but there are some minor differences; they don't seem to affect performance much, though. Good, snug fit on the flange and works just as well. For the Medela PISA, I was impressed to find that it also fit well. Saves me money here too - would otherwise have to buy the yellow valves and extra membranes separately. My membranes on this pump were about 3 months old and needing replacement. The duckbill valves felt much nicer on this pump than the valve/membrane setup that comes with the Medela pump. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who has either pump for use. Well done!

These are wonderful! I switched these out for the yellow membranes on my Medela pump, and I have been getting more milk. Typically, I would pump 4-5 ounces a session. However, now I am getting 9-10 ounces every time I pump. I cannot say enough great things about these!

I got these for my spectra S2. At first I didnt like them since they don't slip on as easily as the spectra brand but then I realized they come off so much easier than the others. They just pop right off. the spectra ones are a pain to get off when they are wet with breastmilk. I guess if youre washing your flanges with the duckbills attached you wouldnt have that issue with the spectra duck bills but germaphobe me always washes them separately.

I bought these based on a recommendation from a breastfeeding group I am in. My manual breast pump uses a duck bill valve and it always seemed to work better than the yellow plastic medela valves so it made sense to try these for the medela electric pump. The suction feels better with these duck bill valves and I get more milk quicker! I am never buying the yellow medela valves again!

I am an exclusive pumper and have since my baby was about a week old. I currently pump 6 times a day for my 6.5 month and I absolutely love my Spectra pump, but the Nenesupply duckbills are superior to the original ones that come with the pump. The reason they are better is the part that connects to the flange has a slight ridge which makes taking it off a lot easier, whereas as Spectra ones are completely flat. I highly recommend these as well as all of the Spectra supplies made by Nenesupply. I have purchased all of the various parts for my Spectra (tubes, flanges, duckbills, valves, bottles) and have been extremely pleased with everything.

Used on freemie cups. Works perfectly... supply has dropped due to overuse of previous flanges and these are an awesome replacement. Also checked and they worked with my speCtra and Medela parts.

I've got two pumps from two pregnancies - the Medela PISA and the Spectra 2 (get the Spectra, if you have the chance - it's WAY better), and I use both sets of parts on a regular basis. These really do work great with both! I love them. They're easier to remove and wash than the original Spectra pieces, and the original Medela membranes always tore on me... this is a much better design.

I've tried a lot of breast pump, flange, and valve combinations (Ameda Purely Yours with duckbills, Medela PISA with membranes, Spectra S2 with membranes AND duckbills) and I like the duckbill valve much better than the Medela-style membranes. I'm currently using these on my Spectra S2 with the Maymom flanges and having a lot of suction success. While using the membranes, I was only able to express about 1/2 an ounce and was really discouraged about pumping, but after swapping out to the duckbills I pumped 2 to 3.5 ounces on one side in roughly half the time without changing anything else -- and I don't have a huge milk supply by any means. These duckbills are a lot easier for me to pop off than Medela-style membranes. After you pump, if you gently pull these off BEFORE rinsing them (while your hands and the valve are still dry), you can get a much better grip and they're very easy to take off. Even wet, these are a lot easier to handle than the Medela membranes, which left me with sore fingers every time I tried pulling them off for cleaning. I also agree that the odd number of valves included in this package is a strange choice. They should really package them in even quantities so you can swap out for dual pumping, but I do definitely still recommend trying these on a Spectra S2 or Medela PISA if you're having pumping issues before giving up.
