A great player value
I did not expect much for the price, but this is a solid little player. It has a display which is easy to read and the controls are generally intuitive. The charge seems to last for several days. There is only one problem and that is easily solved: making playlists is difficult, but downloading Media Go from Sony solves that. This app works perfectly with the player. The only other inconvenience is that the player does not remember the previous settings when it is restarted. It would be helpful if it remembered where it was on the playlist, so that it could continue with the next song.

Love everything but one thing
I have no idea if it's a glitch or something. But, I'll put in a song, MP3 file, and be able to play it. Next time I connect it back to my computer and add more songs, the last few songs I added the last time i connected to my laptop just either play a second, then skip, skip entirely, or it suddenly says that the file format is not supported. However, I've checked and the files are still mp3 files, so I have no idea what's going on. Aside from that, it's a handy player. I've had it since June and it's worked like a charm. Easy to use, great sound quality on very high or low and the battery is amazing. I would forget to turn it off and have my music on paused, and the next day it still has alot of battery life left.

Buy it and GIVE IT AWAY
My third one will arrive tomorrow. One I gave to a friend, another one I gave away but it got stolen and now I'll have one for myself again. It uses the .M3U playlist format, which will work with the MP3s loaded on the built in memory. Playlists won't access the Micro SD chip, but 8GB built in is enough for over 100 hours of music. There are 3 separate M3U playlists in memory when you get it, but to use those, you have to add one song at a time and that is very slow. "Playlist Creator" is a free download you can use to create and edit playlists on your PC, then move them to the player via USB cable. These are inexpensive enough that just about anyone can afford to give one to a person in a nursing home. Some of those people you think are totally "out of it" respond very positively to music from their youth. Think about loading one up with "oldies" and making it a gift. They'll need earplugs and a charger too (about $15). Do a little research on your intended giftee and find out what kind of music they liked when they were younger. You can find any music imaginable on Youtube and download it. You might be surprised at how good it makes YOU feel when you give one of these away and see the look on someone's face that hasn't listened to music in (sometimes) years. Not many things you can feel so good about for around 35 to 40 bucks.

Great MP3 Player,Battery Life,Size,Cost
Great basic MP3 player. Light weight pocket size has excellent battery life, base storage holds hours of audio files and ability to add SD card if you need more space. I've used this for over a year for 8-10 hours at a time 5-6 days a week has never come close to dying during use, charges full in a reasonable period of time. If you want a basic device to play audio files this is perfect. Battery,Storage,Cost all on par. Only issue is the button lock is difficult to use wish it were a physical switch on the device. Would buy again.

Great value for the price!
I bought this for my 9 year old son for Christmas, and I think he's going to love it! I immediately loaded a ton of music and pictures on it for him and had no trouble at all moving the files to the player. After adding so much, it barely made a dent in the storage. I'll update my review after he uses it for a while, but after playing with it myself for a little, I think it's going to be perfect for him. UPDATE: He loves this music player. I think he feels big having it and shows it to all his friends. Definitely a good product for his age, and it's very easy to add/remove music!

Great for someone who forgets to charge their electronics!!
Really enjoy this mp3 player! In the past I always preferred the AAA battery powered mp3 player because the other mp3 players I'd have to charge would die in 8-9 hours and often I'd want to use the player for all day. (12 hours +) This player works great. I fully charged it and ran mp3's on it until it died, and it lasted approx 45 hours! This was pure running time, all mp3, and a good volume. It also charges quickly as well. It charges as I put on my music/podcasts and I usually don't have to charge it more than that. The controls are simple, and while a bit counter intuitive at first, it becomes super easy to use super quickly. The radio quality is good, I enjoy all the features, and it's a great price. If you need something inexpensive to use and you don't want to have to worry about battery life, this is for you.

Superior Sound Quality, Massive Storage, and Great Battery Life
Excellent build quality, crude but usable user interface, and superior audio quality for the price. Very lightweight, but does not feel cheap. The case has a soft matte finish, and the buttons are responsive and easy to press. Using Sony MDR V6 headphones, I only need the sound level at about 45%. Many music players have a constant background white noise or clicks when switching songs, but this AGPtEK player has no audible background noise during playback. Bass is excellent and trebles sound great. I was initially hesitant to purchase this player, because it seemed so similar to a lot of the other cheap players I have tried in the past. After trying it out, I am very happy with what I got for such a low price. Just be aware that the user interface is not refined, and is certainly not as intuitive as more expensive players. That being said, I am amazed at how great this little thing sounds. Highly recommended.

Great little player
For the past 8 years I've used a high-end music player based on a proprietary format and requiring its own interface program and it's annoyed the crap out of me. All the bells and whistles are warm and fuzzy, but I've longed for something I could just drag & drop mp3 songs into. The AGPtEK A02 has filled that bill and for a sixth the price of the fancy annoyance. Before I realized it will handle playlists my plan was to use micro SD cards to store various playlists. That may still happen, but I'm finding the 8G holds a lot more mp3 songs than the fancy annoyance's 16 G in the proprietary format with all the unnecessary stuff it attached to each song. Even though it's still relatively new and I've yet to explore all it has to offer, I'm super pleased with it and highly recommend it.

Smart little gadget
My old MP3 player stopped working and I was in the market for a new one. What attracted me to this MP3 was the ease of use. The display looked amazing and there were some positive reviews. Now I have received it, I’m so glad I purchased it,so far I'm really pleased with it.

inexpensive yet competent mp3 player
It works just fine for a $25 player. Negatives 1. the user interface is a little but difficult to get used to but otherwise it works great. 2. the screen is really small. 3. does not support aac files in other words all my itunes store purchases which are not many. Positives everything else, I also bought a agptek 64gb micro sd card and put about 5,000 songs on it transferring all those songs took me about an hour and a half. I think I might get two more of these players, one to use at work and leave it there as well as one to leave in the car. One more thing its super light weight if you drop it i don't think it will have sufficent weight to jerk free from the wire/or yank the headphones off your head and break the player try that with a ipod touch
