This bag is awesome! I'm new to crocheting and I've ordered a couple of other bags to hold yarn and tools but the others I've had to return for poor quality or because they smelled bad (mothballs - yuck!). I was skeptical to order another one online but reading the other reviews, I gave it a shot and have NOT been disappointed! Sturdy, good quality! I'm looking forward to years of fun.

I had bought crochet hooks from them, now I needed a yarn tote! I was looking at some that were a little bit less but decided to go with this one, I'm glad I did! You get a lot for your money! It's well made and I love the extra bags you get! There is plenty of room for yarn in the large one and I love the extra pockets for the hooks and other things. I like the holes at the end of each one for the yarn to come out easily! I'm glad I found this! It's also a military family business so I thank you for your service! 💗

I absolute love it! The bag is huge and I love that is lined with water resistant material on the inside. It saves my yarn from my toddlers accidents! It's made with thick material so it will definitely hold up for a long time! The little bag is perfect for a yarn cake and the medium bag is perfect for a regular sized skien. The big bag will hold at least 5, if not more, of my I Love this yarn aliens. There is a pluethera of pockets on the outside so hook, scissor and stitch marker storage isn't a concern! All in all this is the best purchase I've made in awhile

Smaller than expecited but GREAT QUALITY. Prompt delivery. NO BAD ODOR AT ALL. AND PLEASE TRUST ME THATS LITTLE 9ND GOOD FOR BSLL FIST SIZE OR A TAD BIGGER IYS VERY CUTE AND will get used. The skein size will hold a skein if I don't feel like winding but theCV main nv ag isnt either as tall or as round circularally large or as tall as I'd hoped. I'm not a good judge when something says 10 inches say. To me that's big. I don't like big purses so thats big to me. This is much bigger than a purse it's a good sized weekend to pack to vacation even a two nigh an over night bag or a large baby bag sized or so bag. It will clean up EASILY. I hope to condense a bit of the yarn I have in my hotel room. But not put much of a dent into all my ouverall stash I see. That's ok. I'm here now need this got it iy ts great. Gonna make all center pull balls, I got a wonder and im going to nicely organize and stack this tighter we need the space. We shall see. Very excited to try. Hopefully I can condense this room some. Fingers crossed.

Works for me

Bought this for myself, to hold the yarn I was working with on my current projects, instead of having the skein loose for my cats to mess with, or having 3 or 4 skeins just lying around (I'm currently working 3 colors at once). It holds 4 skeins, and I use the front flat pocket to hold a small plastic slide lock bag that contains all my hooks (also Athena's Elements, btw, with 3 other generic brand) and a gauge card. Front small pocket holds my current WiP hook.

Fantastic Yarn Project Bag - with accessories.

I had this on my wish list for awhile and the crochet elves FINALLY told Santa. Thanks for the coupon for the holidays!! I'm very pleased with this bag and all the accessories and mini bags included. Currently I have eight balls of yarns and lots of extra large granny squares and they ALL fit! The openings a the top of the bag are large enough that I have multiple colored threads in the four openings. The project is kept neat, organized and clean in one bag large enough for an afghan project. You also get two smaller bags - one is perfect for a single ball or smaller cake and the other fits a long skein or accessories like hooks and knitting needles. The material of the bag can be wiped off with a baby wipe to keep clean. The strap is very sturdy with a clip on strap to carry on your shoulder or over your chair in yarning circles. I really appreciated the the extra zippered pocket in the inside lid that comes with a good cloth tape measure, a small bag of stitch markers with closures and a small bag of metal, not plastic!, yarn needles of various lengths and eye openings. Perfect amount for the project in the bag. Finally on the outside is one pocket the perfect size for a hook case and several small pockets for individual hooks or knitting needles. My only complaints would be to make the smaller bag a little larger to fit a standard cake size and to include a pocket large enough for a pattern book - (on the outside opposite the front pockets?) Glad to support a family business with such a well made product.

I loved having the opportunity to use this bag for the first time on a cross-country trip... in between projects. Why does this matter? Well... I'll tell you! Yarn nuts know, that when you are between projects you have no idea what you want or need to bring with you... so you bring a little of everything. And that's exactly what I did. And I was thrilled. I loaded this bag down with way too much yarn, way too many hooks, needles and accessories. And I don't hate it. The stitching holding these bags together is great. The zippers work perfect, they didn't give me a hard time in spite of being over stuffed. The quality of the bags themselves, makes them worth twice as much as what you pay. I LOVE the little clear pouch in the lid of the main bag. Wonderful. This set was designed by someone who knows fibercrafts. As for the negatives, there's always something. It's a nit picking thing, even I will admit it. I'll say I wish it had storage for the WIP (work in progress) but to be fair, if I had an actual WIP I could likely store it inside the main bag with the yarn. The only reason I couldn't store a WIP inside the main bag was because I stuffed FIVE SKEINS of yarn, and scrap balls inside. I over stuffed it and I admit it. I would advise rough travellers like myself, to put smaller hooks and sock needles INSIDE the bag. I tipped the bag and knocked it around while it was upside down... and lost three sock needles and a lace hook. But the outside pockets are nice and snug and were wonderful, until I tipped it upside down. I mean, tip any pocket upside down and jiggle it... see if you keep every little thing inside. That was my fault.

Well made and sturdy

Was absolutely perfect. Extremely well made. Very sturdy. Had to be designed by a person who loves to crochet and knit. It is great for traveling with all the cubby holes and pockets for accessories. I find when I travel by car it fits on my lap and to dashboard and makes it easier to work on small pieces such as scarfs, hats, shawls and lapghans.

This bag and the accessories that came with it are high quality and I love the print. I can tell this will last for many years to come. I am very happy with these products and all the extra pieces. The one year warranty that Athenas elements offers now is awesome, too!

Best tangle-free yarn tote,

Sturdy, no-tangle, crochet/knit bag. Extra pouches good. Slots on outside let me stash crochet hooks & go. Holds a few sm skeins or a couple large. Yarn slits/holes are great to keep yarn tangle-free. This is the best yarn tote & de-tangler. Can accomodate 2 separate yarns. Yarn can still tangle occasionally, but way less often than other totes I’ve tried! Perfect
