These work well in my Dremel 4000. They fit perfectly in both the Dremel and the flex shaft. I've been using them to do a couple of relief sculptures in pine and in oak. They take away a substantial amount of material but are also delicate when used at a slower RPM. I don't think you can beat the price at $10.

I am using these with a Dremel 4000, grinding some internal shapes into some 1/16" thick steel sheets (not sure what steel). It cuts very well and I had no problems with vibrations. The shaft was fully inserted into my collet because... well... since you are using this for a side load, that's the best way to prevent the shaft from bending. I had absolutely no problems. It seems like a good choice here.

Sure is nice when you have exactly the right tool for the job! Super happy, these rasp bits are long lasting bits, and I was using it on forged aluminum. I finished my project using two of the bits and when I was done, the bits still looked new and we're plenty sharp still!

BUY THESE. BUY THESE. BUY THESE. If you have a Dremel tool, BUY THESE. This is what Dremel's OWN milling bits should be. Yes, tungsten carbide is more brittle than high speed steel, so you're going to have to take a little care with them; but with a Dremel tool you should be using a light touch and letting the speed do the work anyway, not forcing the bit into the work and trying to power through it. At 30,000rpm, Dremel's high-speed-steel bits rapidly overheat, dull, and eventually burn out. These tungsten-carbide bits just won't dull, as long as you don't physically break them and you don't try to do ridiculously excessive things like Dremel a life-size reproduction of Michelangelo's David in real Carrera marble.

works great to port stainless manifold. Must have high RPM. I used dremel. doesn't do anything if you use a drill.

I'm not so much surprised that these came looking beautifully cut, but that they legit seem to be of quality carbide construction. All carbide/tungsten bits I buy from China come looking excellent, but not all of them last through hard usage. Some of that is likely a fault on my end. I used a few of these little guys to shave down cutouts on a metal enclosure which is probably not what they are meant for but they worked great and still look brand new.

I bought this set to see if these bits could effectively chip off thinset mortar residue from an OSB subfloor (I had removed porcelain tile and cement board). While I needed a hammer and chisel for the big chunks, my Dremel with these bits did an amazing job of taking off the rest, saving me a ton of time. You can be as meticulous as you want to be.

Used 2 burrs in a Dremel flexible shaft with a light touch at a slower variable speed (not a drill) to grind smooth and shape MIG welds of 3/16 steel in a sculpture. Slight wetting of the weld may have helped. One must constantly but slightly move the burrs sideways/forward-back while gently engaging the weld & steel to avoid gouges and to smoothly carve the welds. The burrs were amazing good for the price when handled gently and used briefly then allowed to cool.

Don't know which material they are actually made from. They work well for porting chainsaw cylinders and retain their edge well. Value is higher than similar dremel bits

Update>>>>I’ve had several opportunities to use these new bits and I am thoroughly impressed. I wasn’t sure what to expect, how good the quality would be and how they would hold up compared to authentic Dremel bits but after a handful of projects they’re still in excellent condition. {original review>>> To date I’ve only used the bits on wood and plastic & some aluminum so I don’t know how they’ll hold up over time. I am quite happy with my results so far especially considering the value. They fit all the attachments for my old classic dremel and my newer rechargeable model. So I’d have to say they have surpassed my expectations. Handy plastic case to hold them too. I’m not associated with this product. I received nothing in return for my review. I recommend this product.
