Great pole, great size, just missing tripod mount

Great small gopro pole. Light, sturdy, comfortable, all you would expect from such a device. Some people complain about the metal part where you screw in the camera - for me it is ok, just takes a bit of getting used to the fact that you have to screw it in tighter, apart from that it is fine. My only complaint is that the handle does not have a thread to allow for connection with a tripod. If this one feature was present it would be the only one I used.

Durable and worth the extra investment.

Great quality and exactly what I needed. Works great with the 5 and voice commands although people look at me like I am insane talking to my go pro. I have used snowboarding, it is solid and worked great. I have used snorkeling it worked well. It's easy to disassemble and let dry so it does not rust which I recommend.

Perfect for Study Abroad!

This pole is the perfect size for my studies abroad. I made a great choice in getting the compact version. It is long enough to take selfies and good enough to fit in your backpack. Sandmarc really does build with nice sturdy materials, so it feels like superb quality and is on the heavy side. UPDATE: My first pole ending up falling apart due to being exposed to salt water many times. SANDMARC was quick to ship me a new pole so I could continue using it abroad. Great customer service!

High quality, compact size

This is my 3rd pole for my go pro, and by far the best. The size is nice and compact, fits great in my hiking day-pack. The length is great also, if you're not looking for a 40 inch device. An aluminium tripod mount is included with this pole, however, after a day of use I went back to my old plastic one. It did not hold very well at all. Still, overall great pole and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something compact with high build quality. Can't beat it.

This pole is simply amazing. I love it

This pole is simply amazing. I love it, very VERY sturdy. Ordered the GoPole floating stick and returned it right away, felt super cheesy. But the Sandmark pole is great. Very sturdy, compact which is great for travelling. If you are worried about it not floating and using it in the water, I simply cinched the lanyard around the neck of an empty water bottle, easy to find. Instant floating pole, can't lose it.

Absolutely love this Pole

Absolutely love this Pole. Awesome quality. Definitely heavier than the normal selfie stick, but not enough to make a difference. I am not afraid to throw this around and get it wet. I think SandMarc did a great job, because I have not faced any issues so far.

Works fine underwater

Used this on a dive trip and it works just fine. The grip and locks are easy to use even with gloves on. It sinks, which is good for diving but maybe less desirable for snorkeling. After marine use, I would recommend disassembling it, rinsing with freshwater, and letting dry before putting it back together. There's lots of tight clearances that could get fouled up by seawater, and the tubes are hard to rinse out without disassembly.

Very nice staff!

Very nice staff!. Won't find a more strong selfie stick. works in all conditions for me: Scuba diving, backpacking, parties, rock climbing, snowboarding etc. Only draw back is a little bit of heavy given the material. Buuuuut, I have already get used to it.

So nice, bought twice.

My boyfriend received this as a gift a few years ago as a gimble for his go pro. He takes it snowboarding and it worked flawlessly for two years until I dropped his go pro and lost it. He was upset about losing the go pro but was also weirdly upset about losing this stick because he's broken a few and this one was in the best shape. I bough him this again and it works wonderful for his go pro session. It's a heavier selfie stick, and it's been dropped several times on several mountains and it is still working fine, looking like new.
