Livionex Works! (I went to the dentist today...)

I bought my first tube of Livionex in June of this year. I have been using Livionex whenever I brush which is typically after every meal and after most snacks. I have always taken very good care of my teeth. I always floss at least twice a day. Yet, despite all my efforts, when I would go to the dentist every six months for my cleaning, there would still be some tarter buildup on my lower front teeth. I started using Livionex because the idea that plaque should be destroyed rather than just brushed off my teeth made sense to me. If it worked.... And today, I am very happy to report, that at least for me, I have verifiable evidence that Livionex has significantly reduced tartar building up on my teeth after just two months of use. I waited until today to write this review because, this morning, I had a dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I wanted to see if the hygienist detected any difference in the tartar level on my teeth. This first thing I noticed today was that the hygienist hardly used the ultrasonic cleaner at all, and she manually scraped very little tartar off my teeth. I did not say anything about using Livionex until the hygienist had finished cleaning my teeth. I asked how I had done in terms of keeping my teeth clean in the six months since my last cleaning. The hygienist said that there was very little to clean on my teeth and no bleeding on my gums at all. She said I had done a great job keeping my teeth clean. I then told her about Livionex. The hygienist had never heard of the product but she said it definitely is making a big difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. She showed me the notes on my chart from my previous visits spanning many years. The notes clearly showed that I always have tartar buildup in certain areas. Today, all those areas were almost tartar free. And the amazing thing is that I have only been using Livionex for about two of the six months since my last cleaning. (I think that if I had been using Livionex for the entire six months, I might not have had any tartar at all.) I am using about a tube of Livionex a month, but that is because I brush often throughout the day. Also, I probably use more than I really need because I like the taste of it. I know that plaque does not form into tartar right away so it makes sense that Livionex says that their toothpaste only needs to be used twice a day to work. I could use another kind of toothpaste some of the time during that day as long as I used Livionex in the morning and night. However, I really have grown to like the way Livionex feels when I am brushing with it. I also like the way that it does not create foam in my mouth and that my mouth feels really clean after I brush. I wanted to write this review because when I researched Livionex and over the weeks that I have been using it, I have not found many reviews where someone explained that they definitely saw a hygienist-verified positive difference from using Livionex. (A couple reviews like that exist but not many.) This product really works. Interestingly, my dentist had never heard of Livionex. He said none of his other patients have every mentioned it. I apologize that this review might not be perfectly written in terms of grammar and syntax. However, the important thing is that anyone thinking of buying Livionex should know that, at least based on my experience, this product does everything the company says it does. Hopefully, over time, the price will drop so that more people can afford to buy it. For low income people who have difficulty affording dental care or for people that have trouble traveling to a dentist because of mobility issues, Livionex would make a tremendous positive difference in their lives. Livionex has genuinely improved my gum health.

I've been using Livionex for a few months now, and thought I'd report in. First of all, bleeding gums are a thing of the past. That's right... and this has been a serious problem for me. (I've also been using a WaterPik device, so I'll give some credit to that, which I also recommend! But my sense is that the Livionex is doing its share of the work here.) The other thing is that, having used Livionex for some time, and (while traveling) having gone back to use a very good, but conventional, toothpaste (Sensodyne), my teeth simply don't feel clean when I use "regular" toothpaste. Somehow, Livionex DOES make my mouth and teeth feel extra clean. This despite the fact that Sensodyne, for example, has polishing 'grit' in it. The Livionex is a non-abrasive gel but it leaves my teeth feeling very clean and fresh. I kinda love it. YMMV, but I can't recommend this stuff enough. And if you're even reading reviews here, you probably have some kind of dental issue that's not being handled by regular brushing. If your gums are bleeding, if you have pockets (I hope not!), then it's definitely worth trying Livionex. AND I'd recommend a WaterPik or equivalent device for enhanced flossing. I've never been an assiduous flosser, and my teeth are close enough together that it's difficult to thread floss between them. Also, floss doesn't really get into the gum areas the way a WaterPik does. Combined with a WaterPik, Livionex has genuinely rescued my teeth and improved my gum health... without question.

Worth the price

I've been using this gel for about two months now. I wanted to wait until I went in for a teeth cleaning to get feedback from my dentist before declaring a verdict. I've had gingivitis for several years now (my own stupid fault) which necessitated a deep cleaning and regular checkups after that. Plaque is just plain hard to control. I switched to an electric toothbrush, which helped, but I decided to keep looking for ways to improve my brushing, and I decided to give this a try. When I brush my teeth before bed, once I wake up in the morning, I can already feel the build-up of plaque on my front teeth. After just one brushing with this gel, when I woke up the next morning, my teeth still felt as clean when I brushed them before bed. That blew me away. After using this for two months, I went to the dentist the other day, and I got the most positive feedback on my oral hygiene that I've ever received. Even my lower front teeth, which are prone to tartar build-up, had very little tartar. My gingivitis is gone now; obviously it's not solely because of the Livionex gel, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't notice a big improvement in my oral hygiene during my time of using this gel. It is an adjustment to use this gel since it doesn't foam up like regular toothpaste, but using it with my electric toothbrush, it's able to work up some minor foam action to get in between the teeth. The peppermint taste is very mild, but I really enjoy it. I followed a previous reviewer's advice to poke a hole in the foil to better control the amount you squeeze out, and that worked perfectly. This is undoubtedly expensive, but I find it 100% worth it for how effectively it controls plaque. I'm absolutely ordering another tube; this is the best I've used in taking care of my teeth.

CLEAN and SMOOTH (no plaque) feel

Could not be happier with this gel. It continues to do a great job. Just received my reordered gel. Sep 21, 2016 ===================== I bought the gel after reading about it in WSJ. Have been using it for two weeks now and I have noticed two things 1. Flossing is much easier. I always needed waxed floss as my teeth are packed tightly together 2. The plaque that used to form almost immediately after cleaning at the dentist, between two teeth because of the angle at which they have grown, has disappeared. Will continue to use as I love that CLEAN and SMOOTH feel in my mouth.

This product is well worth the price. It's better at cleaning your teeth and rebuilding the enamel than the products you'll find at the store. Of course, it will seem crazy expensive, but when you consider the cost of dental work, dental pain, cosmetic dentistry, etc. it's a drop in the bucket. One tube lasted me about two months. Several people I know have posted about this on Facebook, saying that their dentist recommended the product to counteract frequent gum problems. Some have said that they constantly gum infections and feel that this product is helping to save their teeth. I personally found that after a lifelong love of lemon juice, my teeth turned brownish compared to the earlier white color and also seemed less slick. food stuck to my teeth. After using this, my teeth feel far cleaner. As for how long a tube will last, I had only been using this once a day, before bed. I plan to start using it three times a day, after meals and to stop using my regular toothpaste. Because a little was wasted last time due to squeezing too much out accidentally, I think this will still last for a month, even using it three times a day. You only need a pea sized amount. Don't squeeze hard like you would with regular toothpaste or you'll get a lot out at once and waste it. Just be very careful and ready to stop as soon as it starts coming out. My dental hygienist recommended I buy this product

Expensive, but worth it! And only a pea-sized amount is needed to get my teeth cleaner than ever before. Plus, it doesn't cause my lip skin to shed or teeth sensitivity. My dental hygienist recommended I buy this product. She called the dentist of one of her patients to find out what they told him to use because she's never seen his teeth so clean. She says it was "night and day." She said she could tell I brush and floss my teeth a lot, but the products I use weren't getting my teeth clean. In the past, she helped put an end to my sloughing/shedding lip skin by telling me it was due to the toothpaste I was using. It was too strong. So I switched from Sensodyne Whitening to Gentle Whitening, but then my teeth weren't getting clean and had more plaque build up. I heave really sensitive teeth and could only use Sensodyne until now. Livionex solves all my problems. And it's fluoride free, for those of you who believe it is a cancer-causing by-product of industrial waste. Only potential negative is that it doesn't freshen my breath as well as toothpaste. There is a mintier version of Livionex, but I didn't buy it because it's a couple of dollars more and toothpaste doesn't get my breath as fresh as I like anyway. When I have time, I use coconut oil to do oil-pulling for whiter teeth and fresher breath. I feel Livionex gets my teeth whiter too. If I don't have time for oil-pulling, I use alcohol-free Listerine. Hope this was helpful.

So worth it!!!!

I have been using this toothpaste (gel) for almost two years now. I first ordered it because of a report on one of the main morning news programs. I have always had a terrible time with plaque on my teeth. Even brushing two to three times a day and flossing every night, my cleaning had to be done every 4 months and they were painful and made me feel hopeless about the whole situation. After starting to use this gel, the first check up my hygienist said "you are doing a great job, what changed?" Now, I no longer dread teeth cleanings and I only go the normal every 6 months.. The cleanings are over very quickly and my hygienist is always very pleased. I just turned 73 and my gums are in great shape. I think a little extra money and being some what careful when putting the gel on your brush is so very worth it. One tip, when it gets to the point that you can't get it out easily, I cut off the end, store upside down in a plastic bag, and usually get 3 or 4 more days out of it.

This toothpaste works but not as presented! It must dissolve for it to be effective!

This toothpaste did nothing for me initially. I was really baffled by its lack of efficacy. I was among those for whom it didn’t work at all. I had come across the study touted by University of California, Irvine and it convinced me that Livionex was the real deal. I had almost decided that it was useless. Fortunately, I decided to give it a try until I used it all up. So here’s what happened. When I first tried to use it was very difficult to get the Livionex gel onto the toothbrush the way one would using a usual toothpaste as a result I would lose a lot in the process. Livionex gel comes out in little spurts and not as a smooth toothpaste. It is extremely frustrating to use it because of this. So I simply squeeze large amounts of it directly into my mouth. But the Livionex gel is one damn hard of a beast as despite using an electric toothbrush (Oral B Braun 7000) just doesn’t dissolve into liquid. Even after fully brushing with an electric toothbrush and swishing it around in my mouth I would still be able to spit large chunks of it. Yup, Livionex gel is truly a bizarre product and this is precisely why it doesn’t work when it should. By happenstance I decided to add Magnesium oil to my mouth oral toothbrushing routine. I spray two squirts of Magnesium oil into my mouth before I put Livionex into my mouth and brush as usual. I noticed that after using Magnesium oil the Livionex gel dissolved significantly better in my mouth and it’s effects became apparent. So the bottom line is Livionex gel simply doesn’t work unless it dissolves into liquid. For me the dissolution of Livionex only happened after adding Magnesium oil to the mix and by letting it sit in my mouth for a few seconds.

Wow - I just brushed with this for the first time and my teeth are already incredibly glossy smooth and squeaky clean - with zero irritation. I was impressed with the R&D behind this toothpaste which was why I ordered it (along with the positive reviews, thanks to those that posted). Now that I have used it, I am confident this toothpaste and the science behind it will revolutionize your teeth and dental care as a whole. To explain how it works - all current toothpaste besides Livionex works by using an abrasive to 'scrub' the plaque off your teeth (usually silica). It is a mechanical process to try and break up the plaque with various abrasives. When you go in for your dental cleaning, they also use a mechanical scraping, and mechanical polishing. It's a more thorough scrubbing, but still a scrubbing and you actually lose a bit of enamel each time this is done. By contrast - Livionex removes the plaque by disrupting the 'magnetic' bond that plaque uses to adhere to your teeth in the first place. (Technically this is known as Van Der Waals force, but I'll use magnetic as an analogy). This is an entirely different approach that directly addresses how the plaque sticks in the first place, rather than working in reverse and trying to scrub it off while it's still stuck on. Much like reversing the polarity of a strong magnet, what was one minute very tightly bonded to your teeth, is suddenly reversed and plaque simply falls off. That's why you suddenly have super smooth, glossy teeth. It's a night and day difference vs. the old school 'scrub it off' approach. The result - incredibly smooth and plaque free teeth. With no damage/irritation/sensitivity from mechanical abrasion - it has no mechanical abrasive at all. Positively for consumers who use it and thus have far healthier teeth and gums than ever before possible, and negatively for dentists that make their living from repairing the damage from plaque buildup (cavities, periodontal issues, etc). I have already ordered this product for the staff at our company that have had dental issues, and strongly recommend it to anyone that want's to have healthier teeth and gums than ever before possible.
