Excellent product. I use this item when parked to keep my back seating area cool when in the sun. It allows dual screens because it fits over the whole window door not just the window but the outside and inside of the entire glass area. I use it on a 2013 Buick La Cross full size car. I get people asking Wow were did you get those. I tell them Amazon type in window covers/ shades. I was wondering when they would rip or tear because they fit tight but no tears or rips. Just put them on easy don't rush and they will last. I've had mine for the start of the second year. You can leave the window open a little for air circulation. Thank for reading Keep writing reviews it helps consumers.

We just tried these out for the 1st time, and they were perfect! The Regular Rectangular window shade fit our 2014 RAV4 like a glove. Came far enough down on the window that we didn't have to worry about adding magnets to keep bugs out. We use it for car camping to help with air flow and reduce condensation build up inside the car.

These work wonderfully on my 2013 Toyota RAV4! And the work great on my parents 2012 Ford Edge as well. They cover the entire back windows and really help black out the back seat, which is great for sun protection, napping kids, and for watching movies on a DVD player in the backseat when traveling in the daytime. They machine wash well. I just keep them tucked away in the back seat most of the time (for short around town trips) and use them for long drives. So I don't know that they would hold up if left on all the time, especially if parked outside in the hot sun all the time. But for my use, they are perfect!

I've had these on my car here in Florida for the past seven months; from May to December. They are still like new! Excellent as a sun shade whether the windows are up or down. Great bug net too, of course. They slipped on easily (to the rear doors of my 2017 Ford Escape), fit snugly enough, and any slack can be easily adjusted. (Better than being too tight, I think.) I don't know why these aren't sold everywhere, I can't imagine life without them anymore! P.S. - Have never had any trouble with law enforcement due to these, and I do a lot of driving. Also got pulled over once and given a warning for cutting through a parking lot (oops) and the officer said nothing about the nets. Had police come up to my vehicle because I was parked and "possibly loitering" in a church parking lot, but they also didn't say anything.

These fit my 2010 Toyota Camry very well. The screens did not move much at all when driving 70 mph down the interstate. Plus they should work good to keep bugs out of the car. Will be interesting to see how long the elastic holds up. Very easy to install and remove. Will only use them as needed as i dont think they are something to leave on the car all the time. Screen also blocks the drivers view out the back windows when checking for people in your blind spot. But my 2 yr old was happy and sun free. so it is worth it

I bought these shades for my 2015 Subaru Outback's rear side-windows. I got them for privacy so that I could sleep in my car and they were just what I needed. I like to travel and camp in my car in the wilderness. In more urban areas I also frequently like to sleep in the back of my car instead of staying in hotels. I've stayed many nights in various parking lots (with permission). To make sleeping in a parking lot work, you need privacy and to block the excessive parking lot light from coming in. These shades are part of my solution. Specifically, my setup actually includes 2 sets of these shades, both used to cover my rear side-windows. That's mainly because I bought these, the double-sided as well as the similar single-sided versions of these shades. I wanted to compare them and have layering options. In the end I usually used both sets, the double-layer over the top of the single-layer set (though not always). This gave me 3 layers of fabric (2 outside the window and 1 layer inside). I actually liked having the layering options for more or less light blocking and privacy. That said, if I just had to pick one or the other I'd go with these, the double-layered ones. For the curious, my solution also included other, fully opaque shades for my rear window, front side-windows and my windshield. All of those other shades (except for the windshield) mounted using suction cups which were more difficult to deal with and they got worse as they got harder over time. These pull-over fabric shades, however, were always a breeze to put on. Plus, they stowed away in a much smaller space. Now, I needed most of my other shades to be opaque to limit how much parking lot light could get in. However, I didn't want my visibility completely blocked; I really like to see out of whatever tent/shelter I sleep in. These shades were great at allowing me to see out while completely blocking others' ability to see in. They're also great at limiting the amount of light coming in. These also have the benefit that I could lower my rear side-windows any amount and receive more/less ventilation or cooling, all without re-mounting my shades. Because of the way they work, they also discouraged bugs from coming in when my windows were open (though at the base of the shade bugs _could_ get in... it makes for a circuitous journey and they weren't likely to find/follow it though). So, privacy with bug-blocking ventilation? These shades are great. There's one thing that you do need to know though. My weather stripping on the edge of my door frame near the bottom of the window, where the elastic band of the shade goes, started to separate just a little bit due to the regular application of force right at that point. Any shade using this technique may have this same potential problem though. Also, it didn't do a whole lot. If the stripping separates more I'll just re-glue it in place. This isn't a problem I can't deal with.

At first we thought they might be crappy because they were so inexpensive, but they work perfectly. You can roll the window down while driving and don't have to worry about shoes or anything some "little person" might throw out the window. It keeps the bugs out and everything else in. It give the right amount of shade for my kids and looks nice on the window. Only every now and then it seems to obstruct my view when I'm trying to glance quickly before changing lanes, but I just use other devices to guide me. Overall, I would definitely and have already done so, refer this product to others. It's wonderful!

We have a minivan. I didn't try these on the sliding door window, but used them on the front door windows. Not only did we use these, but I have recommended them to friends. We used these every day for 9 days, taking them off every morning and putting them on each night. They are still in great shape after all that. Not only do they keep the bugs out while letting some air I, but they also kept rain out. They probably wouldn't keep a driving rain out, but they kept light rain out. When this pair wears out, I am buying another pair. I don't think they would fit on sliding door window, but would probably fit on back windows of SUV. I may purchase the contoured set for front window, although using square set on contoured window also worked.

Used on a 5000mi road trip to N. CA. These were used every night after pulling off the road to get a few hours of sleep before getting back on early the next morning. They worked perfectly to provide adequate screening and privacy in the back of the SUV when getting a few hours of sleep for the night before continuing to and from the destination, which saved $600-$800 over seven days spent traveling in that we did not have to pay for any overnight hotel stays. Definitely an adventurous new way to travel!! Being that they were double sided, it was possible to slide them in place and open both windows for nice airflow at times when the day's 12hr drive had to be broken up and a 2 hour nap was needed during the day. I will most likely purchase another pair.

We have been looking for a solution to giving the kids who sit in the back more shade. We tried a whole bunch of things, from suction cup shades to DIY type solutions. Never had anything that really worked and was reliable. Thankfully, we found these stretchable sun shades. In short, they are working wonderfully! We have a Nissan Rogue and the shades are a little on the large side with a little give, but they still fit well with no problems. The effect is a dark shade that has a big effect on the sunlight that comes into the car. This makes it less hot in the interior as well as less glare. This is all we were looking for. We have had it for a few months now and it has held up as well as it did on the first day. They come on and off easily. Trips are much more comfortable for the kids in the back now which makes mom and dad happy campers. It doesn't prevent looking out the window at all. Here is a little side benefit: Mom has to sometimes breastfeed the baby and sitting in the back gives a lot of privacy that without the shades would be easy to see in the car. This was a nice bonus. Probably one of the best purchases we've made for the car and for not much money. Extremely happy and highly recommended!
