Perfect unit. I was able to actually get 85 herts refresh on my new 1440p resolution monitor with gsync and using the following two 25 foot cables, a total of 50 feet away. The quality of the cable matters.

For a VR system, I needed to extend a DP by 15M. Sadly the cable I bought only had male ends, so I had to use these to couple it. The upside is that it worked real well and now my Valve Index works 15M away.

I had bought 2 cheaper Display Port cables from Amazon that were $8.99 each. I wanted to connect my Wacom Cintiq to two separate PC's using a display port switcher and USB switcher. My Cintiq monitor kept glitching and even turned black intermittently. At first, I thought the culprit was the switcher, but I was mistaken. That's when I discovered that not all display port cables were created equal. I returned both those cables and searched for the best quality Display Port cables I could find. I read through a lot of reviews and chose the VESA Certified ones from MAXONAR. I ordered two. The Cintiq worked beautifully with my work computer, but the screen glitched with my personal pc. Turns out that the display port female on my personal computer was loose, I switched it to another port and it worked fine. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Seriously I'm hard on equipment, most cables last 30-45 days tops. The other couplers I've tried wouldn't last more than 30 and that includes the gold plated $30 ones you can get on amazon. These were $5 each! The first of these just failed today after 90 days and it was a 2 pack for $10 so I'm a very happy customer. On top of that they transfer 4k @ 60hz plus sound with no problem. Just in case someone is trying to do what I am, I am using a MDP to DP cable on one end and a DP extension on the other end, works great and I still show its reading as a DP 2.1 connection. Don't waste your money on the expensive ones.

It's 2020, an in 2020, when a product performs as advertised, we say thank you to the people that made it and sold it! Well, thanks, folks! This thing does what it's supposed to do with no signal loss or degradation. We have a LOT of bandwidth going through it, and it works great. So, well done!

Works great connecting 2 6.6ft cables, but all I needed was 60hz at 1440p. Happy it works and will hopefully test 144 and 165hz in the future.

Bought these to more easily switch my monitor between my PC and macbook without having to unplug the cable out of the monitor itself. I just unplug the cable end out of my PC and plug my macbooks cable with adapter straight into that and it works great!

Works great for the htc vive pro, for connecting a 25' displayport cable to the display port cable that comes with the vive pro.

This did not extend my DP 1.4 signal 5m or more for my Valve Index. But for other applications, this does successfully allow me to couple 2 DP cables.
