I keep ordering these and have to admit they are my favorite of the fake bacon products. mix them with cream cheese and they are a great spread for crackers. Lots of uses.

Definitely taste and chews like real bacon bits. Wished it was available as a subscription option. Looking forward to reordering in the future!

Best veggie bacon bits ever.

The flavor and texture is fantastic. Yes, it had some very fine pieces(like some reviewers showed powder-like) but it still has a good amount of crumbly bits. Makes an awesome, quick BLT for vegetarians and vegans.

Excellent Filler!

I fooled the meat eaters! I made my favorite potato salad recipe for a BBQ I threw a few weeks ago. One of my closest friends is vegan, so I altered the recipe for her and we plotted to fool the rest of the party. One guest even commented on the smokeyness of the bacon before I let the cat out of the bag! This combined with vegan mayo worked GREAT! It was delicious. As a regular meat eater, I don't think that this resembles bacon that closely when eaten plain. As a filler in a salad, potato salad, on a veggie burger with melted cheese, it's a tasty add-on, but it's not bacon. For a vegan substitute, it's great! But if you're expecting it to resemble the real thing, you'll be disappointed or, you've been away from meat for too long to remember ;)

I've come to vegetarianism late in life, BUT my vegetarian convictions have seriously impacted my menu . . . and I hate it!!! I still eat dairy, but I know the family where my dairy products come from and they're really kind, caring people who love their cow persons. WHAT HAVE I MISSED MOST? BAAAACON! I've always known YOU CAN'T FAKE BACON!!! Going green, I'd learned to really enjoy sauteed kale with a dash of garlic/onion and parmesan w/REAL BACON . . . baked potatoes, macNcheese, soups/salads with "the works." But boo-hoo, without bacon, these delicacies are so . . . so-so, not the slightest bit tempting -- and then I found yummy UNREAL! SAVED! TRY IT!! You'll LOVE IT! Honest! I mean it! LIFE IS GOOD . . . and everything's better with bacon . . . including ME ! ! !

I love these! The ways they can be used are limited only by your imagination! Cruelty-free goodness! Win-win for everyone! (They are fine-ground and blend wonderfully in cooked dishes and are terrific sprinkled over salads, soups, and in sandwiches.)

Win! This is the third variety of vegan bacon bits I've tried from Amazon. One had a coconut overtone in its flavor that didn't work for me. The second one had a crispy texture that I liked, and a smokey flavor that was "bacon-ish.". This one, though, has the best flavor, and while it's not crispy, it does have a texture exactly like the "tough-chewy" parts of bacon. So far it's my top choice. I wish it cost less!

Delicious! Louisville makes great jerky that I have had many times. This was my first for the bacon bits. The taste and texture can't be beat!
