I ordered one of these from a seller that stated in the ad that it was made in USA. However, when I received the item, it said made in China. I was directed to this seller from one of the Amazon team. (they also aided me with the return of the previous purchase) I am upset that the previous seller is able to falsely advertise their product. Their product also leaked. I am very happy with this purchase. You can tell it is better quality then the other one because it is sturdier and it doesn't leak.

Why didn't I think of this?

The pooch loves it. The wife loves it. I love it. We take some long trips and not so long trips with Eli the Adventure Dog and I can't begin to quantify the amount of water that has been spilled inside and outside the truck watering the dog - until now. Eli wants a drink, he knows where the water is, looks at it and if we don't notice he reaches forward and paws his dog mug, we hold it, squeeze it and he drinks until satisfied, then the remainder is sucked back into the mug. Everyone is happy. We take this on hikes as well. Every dog owner who travels with their pooch should have one.

1st vacation with the pup and this is a must have for all pet owners. we filled up with ice and water before we headed out then added more water when needed. It fits great it the cars cup holders too. Very happy to have and review this item. Yes you have to hold and squeeze to use but that's part of what makes this easy for travel the water comes out when you squeeze and goes back in for safe keeping when not in use.

Absolutely love it!

This has been such a great product! Keeps water from spilling in the car or in your bag. I would literally fill it up and toss it in his travel bag with no spillage at all. I've had it for several months and it worked perfectly!! The built in cup at the top makes it easy for your pet to drink and whatever is left drains back into the bottle. The only suggestion I would make is if you are traveling somewhere with elevation changes, unscrew the lid to take the pressure off. I thought since the bottle wasn't full, it would be ok, but the pressure did push water up into the cup. It seems to have impacted the seal somewhat and now I do get a few drips.

Buy from seller HIGHWAVE only!!! The rest is Chinese counterfeit!

For everyone else who gave this a bad review : You've received a counterfeit product from China, when buying, look for the seller HIGHWAVE based in California. When you check the seller's profile, the Dog Auto Mug bottle should come from California. They are the only one who makes the original authentic product, food safe and BPA FREE. The other sellers are using HIGHWAVE's profile and pictures claiming it's made in USA then when you get the item, the shipping details shows it's made from China and the plastic smells like cancer. Be aware! Buy directly from the original American company HIGHWAVE. I made the first mistake of ordering a counterfeit product from a seller called TEAMSODA, be careful!! Their product is fake & not even close to the real thing. About the bottle, it works great. You squeeze it and water goes in the top bowl, you let it go & goes back in but I dump it because my dog gets saliva all over it so I just dump the water from the top bowl when he's done & always gets fresh filtered water every time. Great product just make sure you buy it from HIGHWAVE the original company.

Great travel water bottle for pets

Easy way to bring water for your dog. Simply squeeze bottle and water appears in the little bowl. Once you release the squeeze, the water gets sucked back into the bottle. Our dog uses this bottle with ease. This is our third travel water container we've bought and by far the easiest to travel with and to use. It's no drip as well. Only warning: watch who you buys it from. I bought it as 'prime' but then seller changed delivery date to a month/month and a half after order date (didn't see she had low feedback rating, otherwise I wouldn't have bought from her). Not happy. Ordered a second one from a different seller and got it in two days.

One of the best doggy supplies I've purchased

One of the best doggy supplies I've purchased. My dog loves it, and it doesn't waste any water (what she doesn't drink just gets sucked back into the bottle). It doesn't leak, and the dish isn't too bulky (it fits in a tote bag with other things easily). I don't understand the reviews of people having a hard time squeezing it for their dog, the water bottle is soft and easy to squeeze in my opinion, but still durable.

How to remove stress from your life!

OMG I have never in my life purchased something that is so profoundly perfect and fits a need that should have been on the market 30+ years ago!!! I never rave about products nor do I jump il and down in excitement...but holy Toledo this product is one I will. From the moment I got this I filled it up and our two Aussies ran to me to drink from it. When done the water just sucked back down and we were done! I was dumbfounded. Years of bringing a bowl, bottle, cap removal fill bowl...dog ignores bowl, water is spilled, dog wants water..crap dropped the cap, empty the bowl. Wash rinse repeat on this dozens of times! Today on the beach... Dogs are thirsty. Pull bottle out, squeeze, drink water returns to bottle, dogs happy, dad's happy, mom is running through the waves giddy with excitement. Well maybe not that happy but this thing works perfectly, Everytime and every use. Buy this thing and I promise you it will shock you with how easy it is and that it leaves you with less stress, stronger, fitter and with more hair. Maybe only less stress...but buy it, you will love it!

Wish we had found this sooner!

We have 4 dogs and have wasted a lot of water over the years in collapsible bowls. Purchased this before taking them all for a week long beach trip and now wish we had discovered it sooner! So easy to use (especially on the go), no waste, and the dogs love it! We do a lot of hiking with our pups and are thrilled to find something to make water breaks so much quicker and easier!
