very easy to use

This laser receiver works perfect even in bright sunlight at a good distance away it still picks up the laser beam

Simple to use, easy to operate.

I do like the fine and course adjustment, great for grading outdoors for paver work on the starting grade in the dirt . Finer sensor for laying pavers afterward. You will need to keep an eye on the clamp as it may slip if you bang the story pole into the ground looking for the grade.

Works great with Dewalt DW071

Had my doubts going in but the device works great. Already had the Dewalt DW701 rotary laser and a grade rod so this makes a perfect addition.

Arrived intact, in good packing and powered up immediately.

Need some grades measured around the property, and this should be a big help, with the Huepar laser level.

I like the unit but it is backwards to all other ...

I like the unit but it is backwards to all other targets we've used in 25 years. When you are using the unit, when the grade is low, this unit beeps FAST....all other targets will beep SLOW.....and it's the opposite when the grade is high.....this unit beeps SLOW when all other units beep fast...so this unit is backwards to all other targets we've used in the past. Other than that, it's a nice unit, load beeps, easy to read display and nice easy to use unit

Great product. I was looking for a receiver for my laser level and had read reviews on one that was twice the amount. So glad I took a chance and bought this one. I have been an excavator pipelayer for years and used High end units. But for just around home this unit surprised me on how far I could move from the laser level and it still picked up and was quite accurate. For any do it yourself home improvement I full recommend.

Works well with Harbor Freight rotary laser

Bought this to use with an inexpensive Harbor freight rotary laser. The rotary laser cannot be used in full sunlight without a rotary laser receiver because the laser is too weak. Adding this receiver allows me to use the rotary laser in direct sunlight. I read another review that said this receiver does not indicate when on level, only when high or low. That is not the case. When on level it gives a constant tone. It beeps long or short beeps when high or low.

but outside it was useless as the beam just was invisible

I had an inexpensive rotary laser level for YEARS, but outside it was useless as the beam just was invisible. For the money, this thing is better than sliced bread, and faithfully does what MUCH more expensive laser receivers do at a fraction of the cost What's not to love?

Good product for the price

When we purchased it we thought it was self leveling however it is not but works ok just wish it self leveled

I could not get it to function.

The unit powered up OK, but would not respond to my laser. I discovered that it was designed to work with rotary lasers and not line lasers. Once I tried using it with my rotary laser it worked great. Yes, I recommend this unit.
