My Knees Thank You!

***I received this item at a discount for an honest review*** This is the first time ever using one of these, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It does make a huge difference to have this under my knees or my butt...no more bruises! It's thick enough for me as I'm quite thin (I'm ill), it would be fine for people who have some meat on their bones too! It's made well. It's die cut out of a sheet of the padding material, and the padding material is sturdy. I will update this as I use it more if anything changes..for better or worse. If I had one con on this...mind you this is my first one (smart buy) I wish it was a little longer, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I am pleased with this purchase!

Being able to work in the yard is fantastic in getting him to move around more

This is a well made mat. My husband has severe hip and knee problems and using this mat has been, as he calls it, "A LIFE SAVER". He is able to kneel down and work in the yard with little or no help as his back and knees are well protected with the thickness of the pad. Being able to work in the yard is fantastic in getting him to move around more. Thank you for a fantastic pad that helps my husband enjoy life again.

Quality item, protect you knees!

This is the first time I have used an product like this, getting older and not able to kneel down like I used to. It took a lot of the pressure away from my knees on the hard board surface that I was kneeling on to repair. Mine is bright blue so easy to locate if you set it down. Thickness seemed to be enough to take care of the job. I did expect it to be a bit longer but the dimensions are as stated in the item description, so that was just a perception issue on my end. Overall really great item, I would recommend for anyone who has to kneel on hard surfaces.

If you have an injury, this is a great idea.

My occupational therapist told me to get one of these for use at home after my severe wrist injury. My bathroom counter is sort of low, which means bending over the brush teeth and necessitating resting my elbow on the counter. With a cast on, it wasn't the best. So, I used this to place on the counter and voila! Perfect comfort for that cast and a painful wrist. Advancing to actually taking a tub bath, I could use this on the edge of the tub to cushion my elbows when arising to get out of the tub. I'm glad I got this for those healing months.

Must Have for Gardeners

My mom was a big gardener, and had kneeling pads for both that and giving us kids baths. This is definitely the 21st century update, in the best way. It's firm to the squeeze, which gave me pause, but kneeling on it, it's the prefect density. I can kneel on the ground or even on my stone garden walls, without pain, for at least twice as long as on the bare dirt (I can't kneel on the stone walls at all without pain). I bought the XXL size, which is perfect for weeding, since it's big enough to move around *on* a little, without moving the pad. Out of all my gardening equipment, this is easily the best bang for the buck.

Elbows too.

This is a great pad, but I don't know how it would hold up for kneeling as I use it in front of my keypad to rest my elbows on; was gtting a sore elbow, reddened and ugly looking but had the habit of leaning on that one, so used this as a cushion. It doesn't get hot like the gel pads does and is easy to clean.

Not Just For Gardens

This is a great size and the foam is supportive, but soft. I had purchased another kneeler online, but one side was very hard. This is the same on both sides. I use it the house whenever I need to be on my knees for cleaning floors or looking in low cabinets. I have a kneeler in each bathroom so that it is always handy and ready to use. A great price for a handy item to have in the house.

I got the smallest and thinest one. I only use mine for cleaning my ceramic tile floors. I am very happy with the quality and the "firmness". I am not expecting to use mine for gardening (I bought the Fiskar knee pads for that). Great delivery and packageing AMAZON.

Thickness is good

I wish they made the thickest size they manufacture in PINK. I bought this to go in a garden themed Breast Cancer Awareness Raffle Basket which will be raffled off during a Master Gardener Training event. I am only buying high quality pink gardening supplies and was sorely disappointed that they didn't make the thickest option in PINK. But this item seems like it will be sufficient. It is pretty thick, wide and long.

Dog toy?

I just wish I'd had a chance to use it in the yard. I made the mistake of putting the kneeler on a chair on the back porch. My dog found the kneeler still in its packaging and thought I'd purchased him a new toy. The next time I went outside he had decorated the lawn with bright green chunks of foam! I'll order another one and keep it in a safe place.
