Took a few weeks, but the feeder has been regularly visited by Cardinals. Today, we got an unexpected visitor. Still trying to figure out how he got there. (See photo) Will be ordering a few more.

The BEST window feeder!

This is the perfect window birdfeeder. The birds LOVE it. Currently have cardinals, chickadees and purple finches. The little chickadees are so cute. They use the side if the feeder to crack the sunflower seeds. Sometimes they perch on the comfy rim. Other times they just jump in with the seed. Installation was easy and the suction cups are great. I had to take it down recently for the power washer, and I know the suction cups will never release on their own. Very durable. The shipment was prompt and the company has checked with me several times to make sure everything was okay. Therefore I give customer service 10 STARS. This feeder is for me at work. May get one for my kitties at home. You will not be disappointed.

Update: Outstanding customer service after my original posting. The bird feeder now attracts many birds.

Original Post - We had to replace a circular feeder because the squirrels figured out how to hang on the brick and then hang on the feeder. This feeder suggested some protection. So we placed the feeder higher on the window, to stump the squirrels. However, we've only seen 2 birds since we hung it months ago. I don't know why. The opening is smaller than the circular feeder, which came apart after squirrel attacks. Perhaps that is why. Not happy with this feeder. Update: The company contacted me about my original posting, and refunded my money. I wrote back that I couldn't get the birds to come to the feeder. The company replied, giving me tips on how to attract the birds. Now I have birds coming many times in the day, and different size birds, cardinals, wrens, etc. It is unusual that a company follows through to help a customer, like M&R Industries. I highly recommend the company and its follow up procedures.

I previously had a window mounted feeder that had a one way mirror so the birds didn't get spooked. It got a lot of traffic but the birds were difficult to see through the tinted back side of the mirror.That one broke and I decided to give this one a shot. It gets just as much traffic, probably more, than the mirrored one. As long as people in the room are still and the lights are off the birds don't get spooked and it is MUCH easier to view them in detail through the clear plastic...it holds more feed than my previous feeder as well, and the birds seem to like the black rubber perching bar. Highly recommended..

Entertainment for Cats.

The reason I purchased this was not really to feed birds , but to annoy my indoor cats by attracting birds to the window. After attaching this light weight feeder to my window... the entertainment began. First up was a red cardinal, now this is set up on a window that has a cat tower on the other side.(keep this in mind) it only took a few moments for my cat to notice Mr. Cardinal by the window. He ran across the room onto my lap. leaped off my lap and flew to the tower. Missing greatly as to hit this head on the window and fall on the floor all in about 3 seconds. He needs to work on his coordination skills he almost made the jump. Mr. Cardinal flew away... Mr. Cardinal came back realizing kitty cats are behind glass and cannot get him. Mr. Cardinal told Slappy the guard Squirrel who watches over our plants. Slappy now every day to the feeder and entertains the cats. Slappy also bring her friends. The feeder has never fallen and at one time had slappy and her other 2 friends inside the opening part. attached is a picture of Slappy eating out of the feeder and the other picture is some of my cats enjoying the views it brings. the view is blocked in the cat picture but they were all happily engaged by the different critters it brought to them

Great feeder!

This is exactly what I wanted! it took the birds two days to find it, so enjoyable watching them. And as you can see in my picture, the squirrel is not getting to it.

Love this feeder!

This bird feeder is awesome. The suction cups are extremely strong and will not come off of the window unless you intentionally want them to, and that still isn't easy. The plastic seems to stay bright and clear for the most part except for the top which needs cleaned from time to time. The tray is removable from the feeder and has holes for water to drain through. The tray also has a divider for two different kinds of bird food, but I just put the same kind in. At first my hopes were low that this feeder would be a success because it took a while for the birds to find it. As soon as they discovered it, the birds are at it every few minutes. Everyday I need to refill the feeder. This would make a great gift for anybody that likes nature. It's very calming to watch and it amuses my lazy cat for hours. It is important to know that the birds can see you just as easily as you can see them. In my experience, if they're feeding and you move to try to get closer they'll see you and fly away. Overall this is a great buy!!!

Cardinals, Goldfinches, Raccoons...

Good bird feeder. It took about a week for the birds to find it. They loved it once they finally did though. The suction cups are very strong. This thing will NOT fall off of your window. Some advice: - I'd put this on a window that has grass/mulch beneath it. I put it on a window over our deck first, and the deck was covered in sunflower shells and bird droppings. - I'd also put it high off the ground. When I had ours on the deck window it was low and a raccoon was eating out of it. Cute, but I didn't want to attract raccoons.

My birds love this feeder!

I have had the feeder up for a couple of weeks now, and I have one female cardinal in particular that loves it! Because of the location, it does not get the bad weather or winds. This cardinal spent hours at the feeder today - not even eating! Just hanging out with me. I love this feeder!
