Vastly superior to the rattly junky old holder I had before
This is vastly (VASTLY) superior to the junky old sunglasses holders I used to buy from the local big-box stores. My old ones had hinges that rattled. The top (bottom?) part of the clip/hinge would fall off every week or so when I was trying to get my sunglasses out of the holder or put them into the holder. Sometimes the tiny plastic pins on the hinge would break, and then I'd have to get a new one. This product, however, has no hinge. It does not rattle. It has no loose parts to fall off. I suppose you could break it (and I'll be updating it that happens) but it's been going strong for a month, at least. You just slide your sunglasses under the little L-shaped clip part, and they stay put. The clip part is loose enough to make it easy to get the sunglasses in and out of the holder, but it's tight enough to hold the sunglasses securely (and again, minus the rattle!) The only sunglasses I can picture that might not fit in here are the oversized sunglasses that are meant to fully cover/surround a typical pair of eyeglasses. Otherwise, I think just about every normal pair of glasses and sunglasses would fit in this holder just fine.

What a Delight to Find Something that Works So Well !!
I liked the idea of these holders enough to buy two (one for my car and one for my truck) because they looked like they'd solve an ongoing problem - keeping two pairs of glasses (sun glasses and reading glasses) easily accessible in my car. They kept falling out of the door pocket, were too far away in the glove box, getting buried in the console space, etc. etc. etc. It turns out that all expectations were met. The glasses go in and out easily but are held tightly enough not to fall out. The holder is small enough that it fits on the visor without looming. I'm about to order several more as stocking stuffers for Xmas. Added November 2, 2015: A month and a half later, I'm still enjoying the "delight" factor of having something that works so well. Clips hold the earpieces and don't torque the glasses frames and provide easy access, all in a slim profile. What's not to like?

Works Great, just but expensive for what it is
Received the Sunglasses holder and although the item does exactly what it says (and does it well), I was surprised on how flimsy and "cheap" the item felt. I give it 5 stars, because it performs. The wire that attaches to your sun visor is thin, but glad it is because my Lexus has a thick visor with a light up mirror built in. The plastic and the foam that's used to keep your glasses from moving around is again, not a quality feeling product. While trying to figure out if parts flip or uses compression when putting your glasses on to it is skimpy enough where you feel like you'll easily snap it. If this was $4.99 to $6.99 it would feel like it's "OK" to have poor materials, but it's over $10. So I do recommend it it (does a good job and holds 2 glasses perfectly), but don't expect an item that has a quality feel, or something that would be long lasting.

Always know where your glasses are
No more fumbling around trying to locate your glasses whether its in the glove box, arm rest box, cup holder, on the dashboard, under the parking lever, on the passenger seat, etc; as you have a convenient place to put them all the time. The holder is able to hold glasses via their arms. It can hold armless glasses if the bridge is long enough, but you have to be careful not to scratch the lenses when inserting (especially in a hurry). Glasses are able to slip in and out very easily. Once in, it's very secure. If you hit a speed bump or accidentally knock it (unless at a specific angle and force) glasses are most likely not going to fall off. There's no levers to pull or or buttons to press, just slide your glasses in and out. It's able to hold most glasses. Even two large aviator glasses will fit unless you have one placed to high on the bottom and one placed to low on top so they touch each other. If you build a habit of sliding it in the middle every time, or make a conscious effort when sliding in you won't have an issue. Airvent holder. I personally just stick with the visor configuration unless you install it in an airvent that's able to close air flow as exposure to extreme heat, cold and constant change in temperature may damage the lenses/frames of your glasses overtime. I personally use this as I have to wear corrective lenses when driving due to my nearsightedness. Not a fan of wearing semi tinted glasses so it's nice to have both regular prescription lenses and prescription sunglasses on hand depending on the weather condition. Overall very functional double sunglasses holder, a very nice organization tool

Nice sunglasses/ safety glasses hanger
Nice sunglasses/ safety glasses hanger. Very surprised to see not many on amazon with the metal clip, if there is any others besides these with the dual configuration. Metal clip is a must as many cars now a days have very thick chunky visors for some reason. Easy to just push your glasses into, or pull out of with one hand. Never seen the dual design like this till I looked on amazon one day. You can even fit a couple pairs of safety glasses in each spot if you want to , obviously depending on how thick your glasses temples are though. Do yourself a favor, spend a couple more bucks and buy these (once!), don't cheap out with the plastic visor attachment clip kind, we all know that's where, inevitably, they will break and fail and then you will be frustrated because something as small and simple as a sunglasses holder you went out of the way to buy on amazon broke and didn't last very long. Come on, its a friggin sunglasses holder, why should it ever break? I can't comment on the longevity of the product, but it seems like it will last a long time to me, doesn't seem to be wearing out after 6 months.

Fantastic. Utterly...
I only recently started needing glasses for distance. I'm over 50, so hardly a surprise. So I have two pairs for the car, one prescription set of sunglasses, and one clear set. In my old car it was easy, I only had the sunglasses at that time, and it had a built in holder above the rearview mirror. My new Jeep doesn't. So I had to find something now that I have that other clear set for night driving. I initially tried a visor thing that also holds credit cards and such, with the small velcro piece. They slid all around in there, it was horrible. This is just incredible. Period. Works great. Went on the visor solid, and the grips each hold tightly so there's no sliding or movement. Easy to get on and off once you get the hang of it, the downside is it's more of a pain to do one handed. But I can deal with that for how much better this works than the junk I had before. For the price, holding two pairs - can't beat this.

Awesome for plastic or thicker-rimmed glasses
I was a little skeptical based on some of the reviews, but I've been really happy with this clip so far. The clip itself fits really tightly over the visor in my Jeep Wrangler, but doesn't appear to have marred it at all despite the visor being a plastic material. I mainly wear wayfarer-style sunglasses, and this clip holds them snugly without being a pain to remove them - I've had no issue inserting and removing pairs of glasses one-handed. I haven't tested this clip with any wire-framed glasses, but I don't imagine it would hold them very tightly.

Nice double-holders
Nice design. I use one spot for holding my sunglasses, and the other for my night-glasses. My sunglasses have fairly thick temples and a large curve to the frame, and they fit just fine. My night-glasses are very thin wire-framed glasses, and also fit without issue. I do end up using both hands to grab whichever I need, but that decision so far has been before driving. I have not needed/tried to switch glasses while driving yet. The clips hold firmly, even in my truck over somewhat bouncy terrain (have not tried them with serious off-road areas yet). But, it still remains reasonably easy to pull the glasses out. Durability remains to be seen, but, so far so good.

Wonderful!
So far, I'm loving this. I've always had my sunglasses flying around my car. I work with dogs, so it's not a safe, or clean, place for them to be. Having just bought some new cat-eye sunglasses, I decided to see what was out there. This is perfect for my needs. It keeps them up and away from the dogs/dirt and helps me remember to keep at least one pair of sunglasses in my car. At first, I was worried the hook wouldn't fit on my sun visors because it's a bit thick (to the point that garage door opener clips will fly off if I move the visor), but the clip was long enough and strong enough to not only grab it, but stay on.

12 dollars for a sunglasses holder???
Yup, and worth every penny. Very well built with none of those cheap crappy Chinese clips that break when you look at them funny. The slide out is way better (surprisingly so) than the push-button release. Very secure fit, both to the visor, and to the glasses. Excellent product.
