Good geese deterrent and surprisingly - fully submersible if kept upright!

Ordered 2 of these to try and get rid of geese in our neighborhood pond - its about 2 acres. First one went on a pole sunk into the mud and started flashing away the very same night. Got some worried texts from neighbors asking if we'd lost a drone in the pond, and then someone thought something had fallen off a plane and was in the process of calling the police - ie, they are pretty bright and visible from at least 1/4 mile away.. The other is stuck on top of an inverted bucket and is happily bobbing around the pond working like a champ. Since storms have been rolling up Eastern US this April, we had a water level rise of about a foot in the pond and the light on the pole disappeared beneath the water surface - I thought someone had removed it but no, it was there and I figured it was toast. When the water level dropped, it started flashing again - so they are sealed very well indeed! Not sure I would tip it upside down in water as that would let water in through the switch, but since it was anchored to the bottom and the switch is protected on the bottom inside the plastic collar, it remained fully functional when it emerged again... great! Geese aren't a big fan of them and we've got 2 hold outs as opposed to the flock of 20 from this time last year. Well worth it, and considering "real" geese lights are closed to $300-400, well worth a bit of fiddling around with.

Very bright, works great!

Worked great as a beacon to find my camper in the endless sea of RVs at King of The Hammers. I attached it to a pvc pipe with a pvc adapter. It would blink very bright all night and then charge during the day. Has a on off switch under it to turn it off or you can have it on and it will only blink at night. Great buy.

Great LED warning light for the money

Great LED warning light for the money. I purchased this light as an experiement to use in my garden a deterrent against rabbits and deer. The yellow light is visible from quite a distance (at least 1000 feet) and it seems to charge even on cloudy days. Also, I contacted the customer support at Qooltek for a slight issue, they took care of the problem right away.

This is a great light. In my tests

This is a great light. In my tests, it was easily visible from 2/10 of a mile. At 3/10 mile, you could still find it. At 4/10 mile, you had to know exactly where to look. It's rugged. I've dropped it a couple of times on asphalt and it bounced around but was not affected. It definitely will flash all night long. The package says it can run 5-10 days on a single charge, but that wouldn't be an issue if it was outside and allowed to charge during the day.

Besides the farm looking like SWAT has invaded

The lights arrive, I think it is owls getting my cats, so I put these puppies up on ten foot poles. Night comes and nothing happens. I'm out there in the dark wondering why they aren't blinking. For everyone else smarter than me they probably already know there is an OFF SWITCH in the base and the light doesn't work until it is turned ON. Besides the farm looking like SWAT has invaded, I'm good and I stopped losing cats. Be sure to have heavy curtains in the bedroom. Flashing lights will destroy sleeping. Small price to pay to keep predators from carrying off the chickens, cats, guineas

Clark the little light IS blinking !

Works really well charges up very good in low daylight. I used this as prop in my yard on an old tailcone of an airplane. Yes I'm not married haha but this was the exact product I wanted and it well suited for outdoors!

Protecting our children

Fantastic product for a BEACH street, that has 47 children living here for the summer. Free sunlight charges the lights perfectly. When motorists see them upon entering our street, it gives them an excellent warning to proceed with caution. Thank You

Attached to our Docked Boat

I purchased this to attach to the edge of our pontoon when it's docked. Our dock is at the corner of a cove and main body of water, so sometimes boaters cut the corner a little shorter than they should and come way too close to our boat when they are out for an evening boat ride. This is perfect amount of warning so they will be sure to leave enough space.

Great light for the price.

Great lite works as advertised. I use them at the end of my boat dock. They are located in bright sunlight during the day and blink all night without dimming. Actually, they are a bit too bright when you look down at the dock from the house. So, I used a piece of foil to shield the light so it can only be seen from the lake side. Works great. Don't know if the batteries will charge fully during an extended cloudy period but so far so good.
