I might be temporarily disabled, but I still like hot food that doesn’t come out of the microwave. After getting out of the hospital and knowing I will have to fend for my own hot meals I found this little gadget. I don’t have to lug it out of the cabinet, it doesnt take much room on the counter & it’s an easy clean up for me. ALSO helps lower your card/fat intake as you don’t use any oil or butter; Browns perfectly. I use this A LOT to make quesadillas, sandwich’s which I don’t normally like. As far as time; it takes about the same time to cook as it does to pull everything out of the fridge and put it back! Best product I have bought for the money in a LONG time. I would but again!!’

Okay seriously, this thing is AWESOME. I got it in the afternoon and immediately used it to make waffle bowls that night for dinner. And the next morning for breakfast. And then for lunch. And then for dinner. Granted, it was not just plain waffles the whole time. I was experimenting! I used the basic waffle recipe out of the booklet that came in the box, and it turned out perfectly without any cooking spray or complications. I got a beautifully toasty waffle bowl in 3 minutes. Fresh out of the maker, the waffles are fluffy and easy to bend if you want to use them taco style, which is what I did for breakfast with some butter, powdered sugar, and a fresh banana folded in waffley goodness. We also tried filling them with a variety of berries and other fruits (thawed from being frozen in bags) and topped it all off with whipped cream. There are so many good things to try, I don't think you can go too far wrong here. If you like your waffles a little more crispy-crunchy, you can cook them a little longer in the maker, or just let them warm a few minutes in a 200 degree oven while you keep making more. They are still very tasty, but become firmer and unbendable, which I think you would want if you're using softer fillings such as yogurt or ice cream. I also tried other things besides waffle mix. For lunch I made a potato bowl. I tried using both hash browns and tater tots (the frozen bagged ones, microwaved to thaw first), and they both worked. Obviously they take longer to cook, and you have to position the potatoes with more care to make a complete bowl since they won't flow up to the edges like a batter will, but still. Tastiness! You can fill a potato bowl with eggs or just top it off with salt and cheese. For dinner I made cornbread bowls for chili, and they turned out super yummy! The jiffy cornbread mix actually has a recipe on the box for making it waffle style instead of traditional style. Very easy! It was so fun making bowls that I ended up with a few extras in the freezer, so I'll get to see how they are when re-heated. Next up on my list: brownie bowls and cookie bowls! I got this thing mostly for the novelty of it, and I gotta say I'm glad I did. It's been a lot of fun, and a lot of deliciousness the last two days!

My girlfriend is great but this thing is amazing. She laughed when I said it but In an uncomfortable way as if she knows there is a chance I may run away with this machine never to be seen or heard from again. I have never been so overly satisfied with a product that exceeded my expectations right off the bat. We made the traditional style waffles and filled with an assortment of berries and peanut butter and syrup and everybody was satisfied. We even tried cooking eggs, just eggs, as an omelet and at about one minute a little more you have perfect omelet bowls to fill with whatever you wish. Tonight I may throw some ground beef in there just to see what happens. Buy this and never look back... shoot Buy 4 and feed the neighborhood every morning. Dear Presto, you already make one of my favorite products, the Presto Heat Dish. And I see that your quality products continue with the waffle bowl maker. I bought this for my grandkids to use at my house and I seem to like it just as much as they do. Makes excellent waffle bowls, ice cream bowls and my grandson uses it to make an ice cream taco. I enjoy my waffles with pecans and no longer have to make the trek to The Waffle House to have my favorite waffle. They are are also great just to tear apart and dip in real maple syrup.

I was excited about the prospect of having a waffle bowl maker. The ability to have a variety of options for breakfast, brunch and even dinner, was intriguing. This product did not let me down. After I tried mine out, I purchased one for my daughter and she purchased one for her friend for her birthday. I am on a low carb diet so I try to add more proteins with any carbs I might eat.I add almond flour and almond milk to my waffle bake mix (1/2 & 1/2 - wheat flour and 1% milk) and then put some scrambled egg whites with 1 yolk in my finished product for brunch or breakfast. I also use Stevia in place of sugar. I have made both savory and sweet waffles. I am a ovo-lacto vegetarian but my husband is a meat eater, so I add a little curry powder to his waffles and chicken dish for a flavor change. I like to add cinnamon and vanilla to my sweet waffle bowls. Use and clean-up is very easy. I find myself using my waffle baker weekly.

This gets used multiple times a week. The waffle bowls are great with yogurt and fruit or whipped cream and honey. We have used it to cook cinnamon buns, puff pastry, pizza dough, and biscuits. We use parchment paper as a lining to sandwich the sweet breads in between so they do not burn. Everything that comes out of this thing taste delicious.

This was so fun and easy to use. Easy clean up. It heats up quickly. I didn't have any issues with the waffle sticking. I used my phone as a timer set at 3 minutes and they came out perfect. The entire family loves this thing. They enjoyed the waffles. I put berries and whip cream in them bowl. We've also made ice cream sundaes with them.

Fun! We've done all sorts of fillings, from scrambled eggs to chicken and gravy to ice cream. The waffles come out consistently cooked, they release decently (we also spray it, though), and look great. I almost want to get another one so my husband and I can eat at the same time, but it cooks quickly enough it's not a problem. Has handled a fair bit of use and feels like it'll keep going, but I'll update if anything hinky pops up. Can I rank this higher than 5 stars? If I could, I would. I can't begin to express the amount of love I have for this bowl waffle maker. The first thing I did was make brownie waffles. I used a brownie mix and it worked ok (it was tricky getting the brownies out. I think using the chocolate waffle recipe would have worked perfectly over using an actual brownie mix). We put ice cream in the brownie bowls and they were divine! Since then I've tried some of the different waffle recipes that came in the included recipe book, and they have been fantastic! My favorite was a regular waffle that I filled with scrambled eggs with bacon and topped with syrup. I also did chicken and waffles that were awesome. You can make full size waffle bowls, or fill a little less for a smaller size bowl. I love it so much and have already recommended it to so many people.

I'm so happy I spontaneously bought this. You can use basically any batter you want. It heats up quick and takes a minute or less per bowl. I was expecting them to come out mutant or ripped apart but it worked PERFECTLY! You aren't supposed to spray it since in the directions it says it's supposed to come right off since it's non stick. All you need is a butter knife to help you slip it off (since it is obviously hot) and that's it!! The first cup I tried making I accidentally put too much batter so in the pictures I marked a line to where you should stop filling. Can't wait to use it again! My family loved waking up to omlete and bacon breakfast bowls!
