I mounted this to the wall and it is extended to the max with an Optima HD26 hanging on it. The mount for the projector fit nicely to the existing legs so didn't use and of the provided hardware for the projector base. You will have to tighten bolts on the mount - these are left loose for adjustments and fit. Power and hdmi cable can be ran through the center of the mount's pole easily. Just make sure that they are through before attaching to ceiling/wall and mount. It took me about a half hour to get everything hung. After that it is just adjusting the projector.

Although the price seems like you should have doubts, you will not regret buying it ... I bought another one more expensive for another projector the first time and this one does as well or better work than the expensive one. We use it for an Epson Projector, but it is very adjustable, you can play with it until you achieve the setting that suits your projector.

I am not very good in installing things but this one was easy

Works great in my loft room where esthetics aren't important. Mounted it to wall with lag screws to 2x4. Adjustable mounting brackets for the projector work out great since the projector only had three mounting holes. Took less than an hour to install. All screws and bolts needed were with the bracket including those for the projector mounting holes.

The item came quickly. It was very easy to install. The now hung projector looks great. You can easily adjust the length from the ceiling or the wall depending how you mount it.

This was very easy to install, and it feels sturdy once everything is tightened down. While the instructions are not that great the mount is fairly simple, and not difficult to figure out by looking at it. There are quite a few left over parts due to it being made to fit a variety of projectors, so if you have parts in the box when you're done don't worry. I mounted a Viewsonic PJ550 with little trouble.

Had a different universal mount but wanted the option to hang from wall this mounted provided. I'm glad I choose it and am very happy with the product. Build quality is very good and finish on the mount is top quality. All needed accessories provided. I didn't take pictures, still have loose wires, but have mount on the wall in horizontal position and didn't need help to complete job my self. Very steady mount and allows easy adjustments to make images level. Highly recommended!

Using with Sony HW40ES, works great, has a little bit of scary give in wall mount position, but I haven't had any problems from 2 separate mountings.

This is a great product. Fit my BenQ projector perfectly. It was easy to install, came with all hardware I needed and has been stable for several months now. I would recommend this product to family and friends without hesitation.

We use this mount with our BenQ MH530FHD projector. The projector is very light and only has three mounting screws, so I did not have any of the weight issues others ran into. I originally wall mounted it and I really liked the setup. Mounting went smoothly and everything was solid after tightening. The only problem was....wall mounting caused the project to be 2 feet too far from our screen. I also needed to be able to easily take the projector down for outdoor movies. 3 screws would not be bad to undo, but a shelf would be better. Switching to a vertical mount was easy. I built a shelf and the mount has no problems holding it with the project on it. The only issue is the vibrations it picks up when people are walking upstairs. I was expecting this though with a vertical mount. The vibrations are bearable and the room above our entertainment area does not get much use when we are watching movies. I'm just glad to not have our projector sitting on the paint tray of a ladder anymore!
