Good tools
Perfect. I bought before from auto store and put in garbage. This working ok. I don't know why I don't use this before.

They work great! They went onto the cables as expected and ...
We open the van doors 20+ times per day, so the stock cables have been failing, one every couple of months. Two days ago both the inside handle cable and outside cables failed at the same time, leaving the door latched. It took 2.5hrs of work to get the doors open again. The local parts store sells new cables with the same rubber/plastic ends that have been failing so often. This time I decided to buy these repair ends instead of replacing the whole cable. They work great! They went onto the cables as expected and were a tight fit back into the door latch. I ordered two packages so I could replace the ends on both the back doors and side doors. It's so nice to have my doors open again! Thanks SZBRT

Overkill - but had what I needed.
I will likely NEVER use most of this. For $50 I now have it and used "one" tool in it to make my life easier for that moment in time. All other tools on deck for future implementation. The one long snaky tool was just what I needed to remove the nasty "spring" hose clamp, a.k.a. "band" or "constant tension" hose clamp coming off the vacuum line on the rear of the intake manifold of a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. NOT easy to get to, and because of the "type" of clamp, it was a bear without this tool. *** NOTE: Cheap Chineasium. Case is cheap and found parts rolling around inside when I got it that I have NO idea which tool they belong to. Yuh think it would be obvious. Meh,, prolly jus extra..

Great quality, but difficult and timely installation
Installed this on my 2017 F150. I consider myself pretty handy but installation was a pain in the rear. First side took about 5 hours (mostly because the strut was in the way of fitting my impact onto the coil spring compressor tool). Once I modified my compressor tool I finished the second side within an hour. I highly, highly recommend loosening both bolts on the lower control arm using a 27mm socket. It allows the control arm to drop a little and the strut will come out and go back in so much easier. I didn’t do it on the first side. Remember to tighten the bolts back up when your done and when you get an alignment they will adjust everything properly. The product itself is terrific. Box came with no instructions but included all hardware. Seems like great quality material. After install I got the truck aligned and added 275/65r20 bfg ko2 tires with 1.5” wheel spacers and they do not rub at all.

Get this, even if not broken yet.
Why did Ford not use this to start off with! Oh wait, it saved them $5 per truck, so we get stuck with the cost (and time and inconvience) when these end up breaking. I used these on an '04 F150. Passenger door quit working, so knew the drivers side would not be far behind, so ordered the pack for both sides. Sure enough, drivers side broke while waiting for these to come. Many how to's online, so I will not go into that. Only thing to add is make sure you have a very good T25 socket. A 30-45 minute job turned into a 2 hour ordeal when I stripped out one bolt using a cheap T25 socket (used a dremel to make a large grove in it for a screw driver). These fit the cables nicely and are a perfect fit. The "cam" piece was used in the upper part of the upper latch assembly on mine. The others are easy to get to. I expect these to last the rest of life of the truck. If I ever buy another vehicle that has the junk plastic pieces, I will do a pre-emptive replacement with these. Note: on the F150 (should be the same for all, but not positive), you need 4 pieces for each door, so be aware what is being sold. This is sometimes listed as 4 pieces (1 door) and other times 8 pieces (2 doors). I had bought another set and they were much poorer quality than these.

Overall a good purchase
This set works good for DIY. The container is sturdy. It would have been nice for the kit to identify the type of clamps for each plier. Overall I would recommend this product.

Perfect fit!! No modification needed!!
These were a perfect fit!! I ordered these because I needed one more set to fix my upper rear passenger door latch. I used another vendors parts previously and lost my last set just when my last cable broke. One thing I really liked about these was that I did not have to strip the outer plastic sheath from the cable end to fit these ends like I did my previous set. Just had to remove the broken plastic end and slipped these on, they were a perfect friction fit. These will not come off unless you put some effort into it. Really shaved off quite a bit of time installing these without the frustration of modifying the parts or the cables. Only thing I didn't care for was the big "China" label on the package!

Tools needed
I follow other reviews about how helpful these tools were to making the job easier and they were right. I had everything I needed in this case to help me remove and replace hoses to change a water pump. I mostly used the five bottom pliers for releasing and holding clamps open. I used all the pliers, on the bottom, except for the separator pliers that are the fourth from the left. The different angles pliers help to get into tight places. I did not use the pliers with the cable and the pick for breaking hoses loose. The pick poked a hole in the hose I was trying to break loose. I had to cut the hose back where the pick pocked the hole. Very helpful set that helps save time.

Great value and part, but might need some tweaking.
These worked perfectly to fix those ripoff stealership cables. I also ran across the issue twice where the steel cable wouldn't fit into the groove and drilling the hole will NOT help you slide it into the insert. Instead, take a big flat head, wedge it into the groove, and give it a good medium strength wack at the head and about midway down the insert. You can always use a pair of pliers to make the groove smaller if you hit it too hard. Update 12/25/2016: Had to buy a second set to fix a couple more doors, but this time the package was ripped and a cam style was missing. I contacted the seller and it seemed like he/she was going to resolve the issue quickly, but I was wrong. Before anyone tells me that Amazon has a great return policy, keep in mind that I needed to have these installed to fix my broken doors and couldn't wait for the replacement, therefore the seller was contacted to resolve the issue. I still need another set after finding more broken ends, but there won't be a third purchase from this seller unless the issue is resolved. Update 12/28/2016: Replacement has been shipped! Although the majority fit without needing to widen the groove, I still found a couple were too tight and ended up drilling 3/32" hole anyways to give metal cable a little more wiggle room since one cable popped off the handle for not retracting.
