Bought this as a housewarming gift for my boyfriend a year ago, and it is amazing! I do most of the cooking, so it ended up being more of a gift for me haha. I've sharpened it one time since we got it, and it is so versatile for all of my cooking needs! I keep it in the box it was shipped in, perfect storage.

Great knife, great price

I bought this knife 18 months ago and just ordered a second one because my wife and I are always reaching for it at the same time when cooking. I sharpen it after each use to keep a razor edge on it. Great knife, great price. Watch your fingers. I have accidentally knicked myself up a couple times because it is always so dang sharp.

Great Knife

I am by no means a professional chef, but this knife has been perfect for daily use in our home. We've used it to cut everything from fruits to vegetables to meat; it slices through like it's cutting butter. We haven't had to sharpen since owning, and it's still cutting as well as it did on day one. We wash by hand immediately after using, and it has not shown any sign of rust or tarnished at all. The handle is comfortable as well for both my husband and for me.

Great Knife

My husband bought this and I said "another knife? really??" but this is a fantastic knife! Almost makes me want to cut up the onions and veggies for his favorite meal. :)

Great value, cut veggies with ease

I've owned this knife for a few months now and it's great! I was trying to get healthier and cook more and realized a lot of my frustration with food prep was poor tools. Having a sharp knife is a game changer! I use this knife to cut pineapple with ease and slice up carrots so quickly. Handle feels nice and it's held its edge well since I purchased it a few months ago. This knife is always going on sale as well, so if it's not on sale when you read this, put it on your watch list and wait.

Great value for a cutting utensil!

Knife is very good quality and feels good in the hand. The grip gives you control over what is getting cut and when wet doesn't slide. The knife had a sharp edge on it out of the box and as a test easily sliced through some older tomatoes without pulling the skins (cut cleanly through). Great value for a knife and as I just received it, I will have to see how long the edge lasts, but so far loving this for a value priced knife.

If You Can Find a Better Knife for the Money, PLEASE Let Me Know!

I've owned better knives...but they cost several times as much. And I like this knife just as much as my Victorinox (which was about 3-4 times as expensive), though I liked the handle material of the Vic a bit more (less slick). It's not as nicely balanced as some of the more expensive knives I've owned, but you can adjust that by how you hold it, and when you get down and dirty this knife gets the job done. It has enough heft to chop and hack...up to a point. It holds a good edge (I just use it in a regular kitchen, not a commercial operation), and is easy to hone. I can't really imagine a better knife for the money. There might be one out there, but I'd be pretty surprised!

Love this knife!

I bought this knife a while back. It is my favorite go-to knife for just about everything! It's got a nice, weighted handle which makes it super-easy to handle. I hand wash it, and it looks as good as new! Every now and then, I sharpen it, but just a little. I liked this knife so much, I bought this one for my son for Christmas.

Were my old knives really that bad? I guess so

I almost never write reviews, unfortunately, positive or negative. But this knife impressed me so much that I decided I had to write one. Were my old knives really that bad? I guess so, because I can't imagine trying to prepare food with anything but this knife anymore. It feels really solid in your hand. When you 'clank' it against another solid object, it's got an incredible sound. It's almost like when you hear people sword fighting in movies. It's an impressive piece of steel. Without testing it first, I gave it a few quick passes on my knife sharpener, but something tells me this knife would have been fine without it. It absolutely glides through just about anything. It's actually fun to cut veggies with it. I'm amazed every time I use it. Maybe I'm over hyping this a bit but I'm really impressed with this blade of steel. I would buy it again 100%. I'll probably buy some to give away as gifts - it comes in a nice box. You will not be disappointed. At all.
