Great buy. I tried buying a cheap one just to see if my toddler would show any interest in a toy guitar. Big mistake. She loves it. It's just the right size for a toddler. It's fun and just the right weight for a toddler still a little wobbly to stand up and play it.

Originally got for my baby shower. My son is 20 months old now and this is still his favorite toy! Had to buy on here to replace last one which only stopped working because unbeknownst to us until it was too late, it sat in a puddle of spilled sippy cup water. Simple but fun toy!

My 3 month old adores this toy. It's simple enough for a young baby but will keep her entertained as she grows. It's small enough to toss in my diaper bag too!

This has been the hit of all of my daughter's Christmas presents! She is 9 months old, and I think this is just perfect for her! She even holds it right: in her lap, up against her body, facing out, with the head of the guitar in her left hand (okay, and in her mouth.) The three buttons on the neck are easy to push and play fun electric guitar riffs. The rattle ball where you would strum the strings is really clever. She enjoys rolling the ball and it makes strumming sounds when she does. It has too volume settings, neither of which are too loud, and it has an OFF setting for easy transportation! (It is remarkable how many toys don't.) Between this and her new xylophone, our little one is loving her new found music-making powers!

I bought this for my baby when she was about 5 months old. She couldn't do much with it then besides accidently push a button. Over a year later she likes the spin the ball and listen to the music. We cycle toys so they stay fresh. This is one of the few that she still shows interest in after all this time!

Grandson loves it. The lights catch his attention, and all he has to do is spin the little plastic ball to make it play.

On behalf of my 10mo old this is how I interpret his feedback while playing with this toy... "Dad, this toy is great. I really enjoy the lights and it is so easy to push the big buttons that make music and initiates a solid light show. Two thumbs up dad!"

This guitar plays a few classical turns by spinning the ball and touching the buttons. We have had it for a few months but she just started really getting into it a couple of weeks ago right around the 12th month. I looked over one day and she was jamming to tunes and played with it uninterruped for at least 20 minutes. We took an hour long car ride and she played it most of the way down. This guitar is an old friend that has become new again.

My little guy loves his guitar. I play guitar semi pro and there are no “real” guitar choices for the barbarianism of the 10mo to 2 year set. You don’t want them with anything that has strings. A simulator toy is definitely the way to go for crumb crunchers who are interested in guitar. Holding a guitar shaped device that makes noise is more than sufficient. Our boy played this before he could crawl. Now that he can walk and run he still rocks it. In the car, in the playpen, on the kitchen floor. He threw it off our balcony 30 feet to a concrete driveway last week. It didn’t shatter and it still works! This is one solid toy.

My babe is 10 months and looks up to daddy who plays guitar. Babe was super excited to have his own! I'm a fan of the classical music tunes that play. Pleasant change from all other toys that play music with lyrics.
