Perfect case!

The case is a hard side with ample protection on the inside for your external device. I purchased the Pioneer BDR-XD05B and it fits perfectly. The case feels like velvet on the outside even though it’s not. Zippers and landyard are all high quality. See pics!

More than I expected!

This case exceeded expectations. Bought case for external LG Portable Blu-ray/DVD Writer which measures approximately 4.5"x6.5" and it fits perfectly. An elastic strap holds the CD/DVD Writer in place. With the strap being elastic, there is the added bonus of being able to secure the WD My Passport external hard drive in same case. 2 mesh pockets can be used for accessory cords, CDs or DVDs or flash drives. Don't make the mistake as I did of buying another case for your WD My Passport, not necessary with the Lacdo case.

Inexpensive, Not Cheap (There's a big difference between the two)

I have several slim external optical disk readers and burners (CDs, DVDs, BDs) and I have gone through a lot of storage solutions for them, including several neoprene pouches. This is hands down the best I've ever had and I now own four of these. They are definitely not cheaply made, the padding is excellent, and I love the fact that they have zippers instead of the more common velcro closures or worse, just flap closures. Your disc reader/writer will definitely be protected and I can assure you they will easily survive any drop to the floor when contained within this nice storage (I know because it happened to me). The only unfortunate thing that ever happened to me with this thing is that the last one I ordered was missing the puller for the zipper but as is usual with Amazon, I had no problems getting a replacement.

perfect carrying case for an Apple superdrive

I bought this case to hold a superdrive for my Macbook Pro... The drive is aluminum and I was quite worried about what a little spill might do to its refined edges. This case is holding it, and the bumps do keep my drive safer than other cases (works like a waffle weave, to provide more cushioning.) The superdrive has a stiff and nonremoveable cord, and i was worried about it getting damaged by folding tightly; this case allows enough room for the cord not to be crushed against the drive.

Excellent case for my LG DVDRW External Drive

This case is perfect to store and protect my LG GP65NB60 8X USB 2.0 Ultra Slim Portable DVDRW External Drive. The drive is made of plastic and needs to be stored carefully with good protection. This case has a very effective bubble proof padded interior that is very durable. It holds the drive securely in place with great protection. There is a front zipper pocket for the cable. My drive came with a small cable and that takes up the whole space. A longer cable would not fit. If you use just the pouch then you might be able to also fit a cable inside there with the drive but I do not really recommend that for most of these drives are fragile and you don't want to take anything away from the desired protection. I put the cable in the front pocket first and then slide the drive into the pouch. It is a tight fit but that is good for it ensures the best protection. These drives don't come with any type of storage for them other than the simple box they come in. Getting protective storage is a must and this works perfectly. This is also made very well and you can see it will last a long time. Highly recommend.

Fits my LG DVD drive like a glove!

I recently bought an LG Portable DVD Drive/Writer and wanted some way of protecting it without having to keep it in the factory box. The nice thing with this case is that you have plenty of room to store a few pre-made DVD's or several DVD R/W platters those situations when you can "burn" the data to a bootable USB flash drive. This fits my LG DVD drive like a glove. If you have a portable DVD drive and want to keep from prematurely replacing it, this is the case that you need to have.

Perfect case for the Apple SuperDrive

I ordered this to be a case for my new Apple SuperDrive. The drive fits perfectly in the case, including the unremovable USB plug and tail. I had been storing the drive in a quart Baggie, which made me quite nervous since the drive was not at all protected. The Lacdo case was only $9.99! Highly recommended for any drive. The foam on the inside is in a corrugated shape and offers great protection. I think just one drop of the drive would kill it, if it weren't protected. Stop looking and buy this thing!😀

Great Case for DVD Writer

Excellent case for portable DVD writers. The material feels like a tough neoprene fabric which should hold up. The interior is padded nicely, thick enough but not too thick. It also has a handy pocket in the front to store cables, it can be zipped comfortably with the cable inside. If you are purchasing a Portable DVD unit get this case it will keep the unit in new condition and you will always have the cable in a convenient place instead of hunting for one.

I bought this for my Western Digital Wireless Pro 2TB drive. All the reviews I read on Amazon for the OEM Case for the Wireless Pro Drive said they had no room for the power cords once the drive was place in the case. This is not an issue with the Lacdo USB CD DVD Writer case, there is plenty of room left for the power / data cable and the power adapter, in fact more room than needed to protect the drive. I Highly Recommend this case to protect your valuable drives.

Really Nice Case, Well Made and Thickly Padded

Very good case, well made and the neoprene foam is very thick with a stiff bubble inner core. It's well made, good stitching and tension, solid zipper that slides easily and it holds my LB Slim DVD Writer with room to spare, approximately 5/8" in the width and 1" in height but the foam is so thick that the Writer doesn't move so if you haven't something slightly larger than this particular DVD writer it should work The outside zippered pocket holds the 23 1/2" connecting cable without excessive bulge stress on the surrounding seams. This is really a very nice quality case for the price that appears it will provide very adequate protection against all but the most egregious abuse. I'm pleased with the product and delivery was prompt. All around, a very good experience.
