love this yo-yo
fun toy and great for learning how to perform fun tricks, if you buy this though it may be in your best interest to purchase a set of rubber trick yoyo seals along side it. the bundle includes a felt pouch, extra strings, a carrying strap, and the yoyo itself but no extra seals which are important because they are what allow the yoyo to return when you try to bind it back to your hand and the ones on the yoyo will degrade naturally the more you play with your yoyo (usually around 6-7 weeks worth of playing unless you are playing with it very frequently).

Great advanced-level yo-yo, but reviewer tends to ramble.
First of all, this is an unresponsive yo-yo (in case this is the only review you read). This means you need to do a trick to get the yo-yo to come back up, not just tug the string. Great for advanced tricks and practicing, terrible for "looping". I've been having a lot of fun with this; it's my first unresponsive yo-yo and learning the bind took some time, but it lead directly to learning other, flashier tricks. It will sleep a ridiculous period of time if left to hang (I haven't timed it personally since I'm usually swinging it on and off its string), so you get a few shots at learning how to mount it. The finish is good as well; I've bounced it off the ceiling several times and the debris comes right off... Don't tell my wife. I picked this yo-yo for two main reasons: 1) The price was great for the reviews I read 2) It didn't lie to me. I'll elaborate on #2 a bit: A few other products I researched were very vague about the skill level required, or even had reviews that suggested people were picking this up as a child's first yo-yo and the kid was having no issues... I find these claims dubious at best. No such claims made on this one, "Unresponsive" is in the title of the product, and the only possibly misleading thing was the image of the yo-yo in front of a mountain (pro-tip, it won't spin long enough to climb a mountain). For what it's worth: I bought this to play with something while my 5-year-old learns with his cheap bushing-based novelty yo-yo. Do not let this, or any other unresponsive unit, be your child's first yo-yo. Additionally, when you get a yo-yo for a kid, you should size the string appropriately. This is a great page for tips on starting:[...]

This type of Yo-Yo does not come back to you
Did not know there were two types of yo- yos. Purchase for this type was accidental.

Wow. Started on a replay. Worked up to unresponsive. Bought better bearings... And then I got this yoyo and it is far superior. Smooth. Stable. And yes, quieter. Started nailing tricks that I was missing before and the extra spin time has added two more tricks to each of my combos. Now I gotta try more yoyos...

Great bang for your buck
If you’re like me and want to get right into advanced yoyo tricks, this product has almost everything you need. It comes with a cheap 5ball bearing which is the only problem, but if you’re serious about the hobby you should get a 10ball size c replacement bearing and a bunch of strings anyway.

Fun and durable
I love this yoyo. I decided to get it after rekindling my childhood passion for yo-yos. I consider myself to have beginner skills and this one is great for learning on. I've found that it tilts really easily but that could be my own fault. Also, it's very very very durable. It's been dropped, hit into the floor, etc. Not a scratch on it. I agree with a previous review that the colors are less vibrant than the picture, however it's still pretty distinct. I recommend this to a beginner looking to gain more skills. It's super fun!

Great yoyo! My friend is huge into yoyos and has tons and so I bought this one to learn how to throw an unresponsive yoyo...now every time he comes by he is putting down his stealth and picking up the april wanting one... worth the buy as this yoyo has everything in one affordable package!

He is getting very good at tricks
I ordered this for my grandson. He loves it. In his words, "It is very smooth!". He is getting very good at tricks. Pretty good for a 10 year old!

Great for beginners to advanced without the $$$$
Fantastic unresponsive yoyo. Well balanced and runs smoother than other similarly priced yoyos. Not for those without the knowledge or ability to bind. Great for beginners to advanced and doesn't brake the bank.

Best magicyoyo under $30
This yoyo is fantastic. It plays just as good as many of my yoyos that are triple the price. The finish is great for grinds, best out of all the 7 yoyos I own. The bearing (unlike some other magicyoyos where the bearing is loud and prone to failing) is great. I believe its a CBC center trac from yoyofactory. Smooth as butter out of the box, and comes with 5 extra strings. I also own 3 other magicyoyos, the skyva, desperado n5, and the n12, and I believe this one outplays all of them (except for fingerspins, where skyva is still king). If you're looking for a cheap yoyo under $30, I doubt you'll find anything better than this.
