Looks pretty and shades well
This patio umbrella arrived quickly and in excellent shape. The tilt and crank works perfect, hoping it continues after reading some of the other reviews. The dark green color looks great on our patio and shades very well, I love the way it looks! We're using ours as a free standing umbrella since we don't have a patio table with a hole in the middle. I read so many reviews on different stands and how they fail to keep the umbrella from flopping over in the wind so I wasn't sure which one would work best at keeping our umbrella upright, plus they were all so expensive! What we wound up using instead was an old concrete tetherball stand we had from when our kids were small. It's a good 50lbs or better and not going anywhere! The pipe was just a tad bit larger than the 1.5" umbrella pole so when the screw was tightened it worked perfect without wobbling. It doesn't look as pretty as a store bought umbrella stand but it works great! This umbrella is a perfect addition to our patio, I'm very glad I bought it! 😊

heavy duty, looks well constructed
Got one from the listing with the "cosmetic damage" for a lower price, and the only thing I could see is a tiny dimple in the pipe, with everything else looking new as far as I could tell. Well packaged, so it got delivered in good shape. It's quite a bit heavier than I was expecting it to be, and takes some slow and deliberate handling to get it deployed. I stand it upside down on it's tip, where there's a plastic cap to protect it from ground contact with the fabric, and then screw on the bottom half of the pipe. Then with it uprighted, it takes some maneuvering of your head to get it cranked up to pull the umbrella open. Develops good tension on the fabric when open, and the tilt mechanism works as expected, with one tilt angle other than straight up. No problems with the release button when the top is supported to take some of the preload off when it's tilted. Pretty much exactly 8 feet tip to tail vertically when opened, so it's a pretty good height. I may have just gotten lucky with a good "used" one, but it was a good deal at the discount. May be luck of the draw, as I'm not sure what the term cosmetic damage means as far as these. Haven't had it up other than a test use, but from what I can tell, it's should be pretty durable with reasonable care. I'm planning on only putting it up as needed rather than leaving it out year long, so I don't foresee any issues.

Great umbrella for a patio table
Putting this patio umbrella to use for the first time was very simple and straightforward – just get the base in, twist the top on, crank it open and press the tilt "button" (for lack of a better word) if you need to, and you're good to go. While the tilt isn't adjustable – it just latches in place at about 45° on either side – the plus side is there's fewer moving parts to worry about. Between not being all that heavy and having a pretty solid construction, I'm really pleased with this so far.

This is a great umbrella and well worth the price
This is a great umbrella and well worth the price. We have it on our porch in a plastic table, and it is very stable and resists light winds. I keep it closed when really windy.

Quality product, will hold up to elements.
Previously purchased the same product in a beige color. After 4 years of being left outside nearly yearround, it had some mold and discoloration. I tried washing with several different products and techniques to no ava popil. Last resort was pressure washer and as I figure it shredded it. After purchasing this new green color, I was able to find replacement canopy for under $20 so now we have two. Mechanics have held up over 4 years. It's been in severe storms of all kinds and didn't fail. I'd say it's a quality product, not sure you can expect a neglected canopy to last over 3 years so I'm happy with it. I hope this was helpful

Seems great.
From reading other reviews online, with some people reporting a bad experience, I hesitated to order this. However, I am glad that I decided to order it anyway (most of the reviews are positive), as it seems to be very good quality for its price. It has a nice vent at the top, to help it catch less wind than it otherwise might, but, of course, on a very windy day, it should not be open. The crank for opening and closing the umbrella operates smoothly, and gives a feel of quality. I have not had it long, however, so I cannot say how long it will hold up over time, but it has the look and feel of decent quality, much better than what I would normally expect at the price I paid. It looks very nice on my patio (I bought it in red). If I have problems with it, I plan on updating my review (and possibly changing my rating), but it seems like it is better than one should expect at the price. Of course, I do not expect it to be the best ever made, as that would be ridiculous to have such an expectation for such an inexpensive umbrella, but this, so far, *seems* like it is the best umbrella I have ever owned. Certainly, it is the best looking one.

Love it!
Great buy. Easy set up and looks really nice! Heavy so make sure you buy or have a base the can hold it up-right.

Durable!
This is a great umbrella. I LOVED it until I realized (at 5 a.m.) that I'd forgot to crank it down before a thunderstorm came through. I ran out to the deck in my pj's to roll it down and it was GONE! it had blown out of the base and over the roof, across the yard and street into the neighbors yard and almost managed to survive unscathed. Two arms did break and are slightly bent but it is still usable...looks a little off but not to bad considering what it's been through. I'll buy another eventually and will buy the same brand. In the meantime I will not forget to crank it down every night and before a storm is coming! I thought about getting a cheapy at Walmart which I'm sure would not have survived such an event.

Beautiful!
Put it up today. Seems to be of great quality. Paired with mosquito net, speaker/light which attaches to pole, and base, stretchy tablecloth which were all from amazon. Chairs from Wal-mart. Lucked out that they matched perfectly. Old kitchen table and I drilled a hole in the center. It's my gazebo on a budget. After reading all the reviews of gazebos falling apart I decided this was the better option since I can take the umbrella in during bad weather. It's gorgeous. I'm very happy.

Nice umbrella
Nice umbrella. Well worth the money. I sprayed it with 303 fabric protectant to repell water and protect against fading from UV light.
