Animal Crossing is a favorite of mine and I am pleased to play anything associated with it. The amiibo aspect of the game is fun for me because I love to collect figurines and play with the NFC. I would rather play with amiibos then with some of the other 'toy games' as you don't have to buy a new platform all the time and the price point overall seems better to me. The game play can get a little boring if you are trying to make a day out of it, but if you play the mini games they are a lot of fun. Desert Island Escape is my favorite mini game so far because I enjoy figuring out good combinations with the amiido cards. I like the bit of customization that can be done with the game boards and that you can choose different months. The cards are a fun, slightly expensive, plus to this game as well because it can really extend the life of the game if you enjoy the mini games. There are many people taking to social media to make amiibo card trades so they can get them all and that is interesting to see. One thing that is a little hard to manage is having everyone play on the gamepad at once. It is just kind of a silly way to do things, but I only play with one other person so it isn't a huge problem. I like this game and I am having fun with it.

It's like Mario Party, but less violent. Pros: Cute and cuddly animal creatures that aren't trying to blast you off an island Cons: You might just want to spring for the one without amiibo, just for the sake of feeling slightly better about your purchasing decisions, but come to realize you really just wanted the amiibo all along, because Isabelle and Diggersby--no wait, the other one--Isabelle's brother...are your friends. p.s. If this gets ported to Switch, I will be the first one to angrily denounce the choice to exclude online multiplayer...because seriously...what if you have friends who want to attend the festival but aren't in [hometown here]? But still. I've played this, and it's fun, and simple, and child-friendly. Thank you for this game.

I am a long time fan of the Animal Crossing series and was weary that this game Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival would be horrible since its not a sim based game but it is super fun to play. If you have the mind set this is another Animal Crossing simulation game you will be disappointed because its a digital board game that just uses all the characters from Animal Crossing in it, but that doesn't mean it sucks. The game is fun to play with family or friends especially if they are Animal Crossing fans. If you want to find yet another way to enjoy all the great characters from the Animal Crossing franchise you should buy this game.

It's a very fun game. It had a single player and multiple player for board game and multi-player and single player minigames. It's a lot more fun with multiple people but I also like to play the mini games by myself. You don't have to have amiibo cards for the board game but they definitely enhance the game. You do need them for minigames but you only need up to 6 cards and that's how many come in a pack. Don't get the game if you're expecting it to be like Mario Party because it's not. The game is much slower and there are no minigames on the board game, but it is still very fun and kid friendly. I'm 19 and my friends enjoy coming over to play it. It is much more fun if you have played Animal Crossing games in the past but it's not necessary to understand the game. Overall it is a very fun game, both the board game and mini games. I would suggest it for anyone who is a fan of board games or someone with multiple kids.

I bought this for $11 for the Amiibos only. I don’t even have a wiiU and am tempted to throw away the atrocity that Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival is. To be clear, i bought this to get the Isabelle and Digby Amiibos and for $11 they were worth it. The game is trash, really. If you don’t believe me just watch a few minutes of YouTube play throughs on it. It’s boring and insanely uncreative. Think Mario party skeleton with an animal crossing skin. None of the meat from either. It’s bad. The Amiibos are great though. Also comes with three cards of Goldie, Stitches and Rosie. All three have cool explorer hats. I love it. Hate the game. The best mini game of amiibo festival is desert Island escape and you can play it in New leaf if you use wisp to invite Isabelle or Digby using the figures, or any AC figures, and buying the WiiU from them in their camper with CAT coupons. Save yourself the boredom of everything else that is Amiibo Festival.

Comes in great condition and the amiibos inside look wonderful. Honestly this is the best value if your looking. For the Isabelle amiibo as it come as a 2 for 1 and you get a wiiu game ( need to find a wiiu). Me and my sister played animal crossing growing up and we are losing touch as time goes by, but these figurines always give us something to talk about and make great gifts.

Purchased this from Cards1StopShop with FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) for a terrific price! I only wanted the amiibos, but the game brand new sealed was an added bonus for my Wii U. Box came in awesome condition, but I'm not a collector so I ripped it apart to use the amiibos. Awesome buy for me!

Like Mario party but with Animal crossing characters and themes,i personally LOVE Mario Party so this game is right up my alley, and the fact that Animal Crossing is the theme just makes it better. I would definitely recommend if you're a fan of those two. It's got cool things like including the turnip market, fishing tournament, fortune teller, birthdays, that's all i can remember right now. Check it out. It's adorable!

My girlfriend and I had a blast playing this game. It's essentially a party game but instead of mini-games, the map changes what certain blocks do every game day and you play the "Stalk Market" to try and get more bells. The player with the most "happy points" wins. Plus, the Isabelle and Digby Amiibos alone are about $30 so it's a great deal. Great for Animal Crossing fans.

I wasn't entirely sure that I would enjoy this game when I bought it, but it's proven itself to be an amazing and relaxing little video game. I think a lot of the negative reviews and coverage for it have been people that were looking for, or expecting, a Mario Party like experience. It's sort of that, but it's really not like that at all. It's just your standard Animal Crossing game... in board game form. It's calming, it's peaceful, it's a tad repetitive, and it's filled with the quirky phrases and characters that have made Animal Crossing so loved in peoples' hearts. I like that you are rewarded for playing more. The more rounds of the board game you play, the more you unlock to change the way the game is played. So far, I've played about 5 different months, and I've unlocked the ability to add the cafe and a community project. This should be familiar to people that have played New Leaf, as it's a different take on a similar concept. I've also unlocked the mini-game area and all but three of the mini-games. You "pay" for the upgrades to the board game itself, and unlock new mini-games with tickets that are earned through the "Happy Points" you earn from the board game and the mini-games. This in itself makes the game incredibly replayable. Not to mention, the amiibo figures that are used as the game pieces save your progress. The more you play and the more Happy Points you earn, the more outfits and emotions you can unlock. My roommate has Tom Nook at Level Three, and I keep playing with different figures each time. Everything is explained in game in steps, and it takes time to unlock everything, much like the way the true Animal Crossing games are set up. The Animal Crossing Amiibo cards can also be used in this game to add characters to your board game's town, and to play the mini-games. The Amiibo card animals cannot be used to play the board game initially, but if you use a card of a character that's in a town they can come roll the dice for you. If you like board games and Animal Crossing, this is great for you. If you're looking to have something fun to play with people that aren't completely into video games, this is great for you. If you are throwing a party and want to have a party game, this probably isn't for you unless everyone there is into Animal Crossing or isn't interested in being competitive. So, in short, (TL;DR) : If you love Animal Crossing and you're on the fence about getting this, just get it. It's good, and if you really enjoy the true games themselves for what they are, you're going to enjoy this for what it is too. It's just nothing like a Mario Party game, and to be honest, I don't think it was ever meant to be compared to it, save for the game board-like mechanics.
