Great set, high quality, reasonable price

We got this for our children for Christmas, and we bought a set of trains that can be used with it. After a couple months of use, I feel comfortable saying that this set of tracks is made from good quality wood, and is sturdy enough to handle being played with by a 5 year old and a 2 year old. The connectors are all cut well, sliding together and apart without any trouble, and staying together when being played with. I am also happy with the quantity of pieces and the variety that come in this set, particularly for the price. My only suggestion is that they include 1 more small female-female connector in this set. It does come with two male-male connectors...there have been a couple of occasions when I have been playing trains with my boys and in order to use every piece, we needed one more connector (the female-female).

Great train set

My son loves this train. It comes with a good amount of pieces to make a medium size track. He loves it. I ordered it Friday morning and it was here Saturday afternoon, that is with normal shipping, as I'm not a prime member. I love this train and so does my son. He especially likes the car that goes over the train crossing. He also enjoys the bridge. It was a great buy for the price.

Very happy with train purchase

I purchased this for my almost 2 1/2-year-old grandson who is currently loving trains. A bit old for him, but it is at my house and he has my 100% attention when he gets frustrated and with a little distraction and encouragement we are both enjoying it. Did lots of research and purchased this on a flash sale at an excellent price. I did not want to spend a lot of money for a part-time toy. The only issue I found was that the ascending track attaching to the bridge was a bit low and I needed to improvise a bit to raise it up so there was no hindrance to the train moving over it smoothly. Not a dealbreaker though for the quality and amount of pieces included. I have customize the track layout appropriate for his age and skills and we have not even used all the pieces included yet. I feel that this purchase was an excellent investment.

Simple and Fun

I bought this as a late birthday present for my 2 1/2 year old. He loves it! He initially got a bit frustrated that he couldn’t put the tracks together by himself but after going through it a few times he can build a decent little track on his own (in case you’re skeptical about buying for those under 3). Definitely a great set. It comes with props, four trains, a car, and a cute little bridge. There’s also a guide included for setting up the train tracks (though you can definitely just freestyle it). Very happy that my kiddos happy.

GREAT quality, fast delivery

GREAT quality, fast delivery, awesome followup from the company - This track pack makes for a LOT of possibilities as a starter set for for our little one. Best part is Mom and Dad like playing with it too. It's easily compatible with Brio add-ons (we've only tried Brio so far- oh and our Thomas engine works fine with it too) This track set is our new favorite toy in the house.. I could see getting an additional set just to get a little crazier with our designs! The pieces are well made and quite strong. Nice, sturdy, easy and intuitive enough to get going right out of the box. The box is nice enough to store the pieces again when we put them away before bedtime so they can be pulled out in the morning. VERY PLEASED! My son can't stop playing, so many pieces

Our son received this gift for his birthday, and literally every single day he wakes up and play with it. He’s 2.5 year old and I do not see any choking materials. There is a lot of train tracks in this box! The track is very smooth and well made, it appears to be made out of a decent quality hardwood. We bought this set for our boy to play with his existing Thomas sets. Here are the PROs: 1) It’s perfectly compatible to our existing Thomas Train Set. 2) Tracks are double sized, it allows us to rotate them to create some special loops 3) ToysOpoly tracks have cross ties etched into the tracks giving them a more realistic look 4) Dimensionally: They match up perfectly to in length and width 5) Easy to put together and excellent craftsmanship 6) Portable with beautiful color box 7) Last but not least, I received a best customer service from ToysOpoly Here are the CONs NONE that I can find so far….

Exceptional!

My five year old daughter and my three year old son adore this set. They just opened it on Christmas day. My five year old likes it best; putting the pieces together to create different track formations seems to really give her a challenge she enjoys. The pieces all fit well; VERY well made. Yes there will always be one or two pieces that are a little stiff and hard to separate at times. It's impossible to have perfectly carved wooden pieces for every set. But we're super pleased with the quality. These work with the Thomas Track Master trains as well as the newer ones that run on batteries. However the bridge that comes with this set won't let the battery powered ones through as they are too wide for the bridge. If you have Thomas Track Track Master trains where the wheels are an inch apart this set will work for you. The Take and Play Thomas trains definitely won't fit on the tracks, but my kids try anyway. In the end, kids don't care about the perfect fit as much as us adults do!

Excellent buy

This is such a wonderful set I have purchased 2 sets for my youngest cousin, he and I lay on the floor playing with the set It’s really nice, they hook up with all wooden tracks We have hours of fun Plus my cousin is always playing with the train making all kinds of designs He’s almost 3 and he puts the design in his mind as to what he builds This is a must buy the big kids and little kids will spend hours of playing with this set

Works with Thomas tracks

My son’s grandparents got him a Thomas set for Christmas. He wanted to expand, but we found similar sets to be too expensive. We got this set and it fit perfectly with his Thomas set (BOTH are pictured above). The bridge feature is probably my son’s favorite part. He is a very active kiddo, but played with this set for hours! We love seeing his creativity as he makes different storylines as he plays!
