We bought this 4 months ago and thought we would report. Our last oven died probably the control board sat above the oven vent and burned out. This oven has no control board so it will never go out. The oven cooks very very evenly. We've done all kinds of cookies, cakes and everything bakes just as you would want it. The convection fan is so quiet that it's hard to hear if it's on or not. The burners are very powerful and the controls allow for very small changes in flame. The burners light quickly. There are 4 burners each with a different size. I did replace the power cord to a flat cord, because once we pushed the oven back to the wall, it didn't have a cavity the cord can recess into. I wish it had a more distributed broiler. The broiler is very powerful but doesn't cover a large area for broiling. Bottom line is that this oven looks great and cooks great. Well worth the money. Never had buyers remorse and we still are grateful on how solid of an appliance this is.

Love it! I was worried ... I purchased this oven based on descent reviews but read a few that made me nervous. After install I have no complaints and I'm really happy I got this! The design of this range looks great and is good quality. I have had no problems with hot knobs. I'm not sure what could have happened for the person that posted that but... I had the oven on seasoning and the burners - no problems. Burners work great! I had zero problems but I had a professional installer do the job so... maybe that helped? I don't believe you need an oven thermometer... The oven lets you know the temperature there is a blue light on the front, once it hits the temperature the blue light turns off. I'll probably still get an oven thermometer but... good to know. The self cleaning feature was a non issue with me as even the higher end models (wolf -etc ) have complaints about the self cleaning features. I've never used one- so guess I don't know what I'm missing. I love the blue oven interior - it's pretty. I have zero issues with the oven racks - again I'm not sure what happened for the other reviewer but they are pretty standard - I suppose if you misalign there could be a problem but that would happen in any oven. Lastly if I had to pick one thing I disliked... I am not a fan of the company logo. It's a bit ... front and center- so I popped it off and used some goo-gone.

I almost never write reviews but I had to for this purchase. I'm one of those people who takes forever to make a purchase because I research the hell out of things before I commit. Absolutely LOVE this oven. I cook and bake everyday and this baby is heaven sent plus it looks amazing in my kitchen. The convection oven browns everything perfectly even, the burners bring water to a boil quickly and have even distribution, and the broiler heats quickly and once again, cooks evenly. Love the heavy duty grates and professional look. Easy to clean. Installation was a breeze and it sits flush against the wall. I've had it for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier.

For years my wife has wanted a professional style range. She would tell me stories about how her grandmother owned a Thermador range and how much she wanted one of her own. Of course with the price of a Thermador or similar professional range all I could tell her was, "someday." Then I stumbled across this Thor Kitchen HRG3080U. I couldn't believe the price difference, so I started reading reviews. Everyone seemed to love theirs so I figured it was worth a shot. When it arrived I knew at once I had nailed it. The unit does in fact look like its professional counterparts, at a fraction of the cost. The build quality seems decent and the components are top notch. I installed an LP conversion kit in a few hours and into the kitchen it went. My wife was in love...with the range...and me too I guess. After a few days in the kitchen and a few meals cooked on this range I can honestly say that my purchase was totally worth it. As anybody who uses propane fuel for their house would know, you lose some cooking BTUs vs natural gas. This Thor Kitchen range does not seem to suffer that same loss of cooking power on LP fuel. We've been really impressed with the range's performance as well as its good looks. For the price it is gorgeous and looks just as impressive as its $5000 competition. It's obviously not a Therador or Wolf but that isn't stopping us from loving it. Awesome job Thor Kitchen, thanks for finally figuring out that average households...with average income want that chunky professional looking range just like you find in home designer magazines!

This is a stellar stove for the price. As of October 2018 the knob issue is fixed with high end brush stainless knobs. Careful, they will get very hot if the oven door is left open too long. The burners are flat out amazing. I replaced a 3800 dollar dcs stove that totally wasn't worth that kind of money with this stove and we love it. The burner adjustment video on YouTube tells you how to get the perfect simmer out of all the burners and the oven front doesn't get hot enough to be an issue with the 9 month old learning on it whole on. Yes, the stainless exterior is a thinner gauge than a wolf or viking. No it doesn't matter, just don't scrub it with a scotch brite pad and everything will be swell on your cooking work with this stove.

I was very worried about buying a range sight unseen, but I am totally thrilled with my Thor! We’ve had the range for about a month now, and I’m in love. It works perfectly and looks better than the pictures. When I visit friends/family I compare my Thor to everyone else’s range, and Thor always comes out on top! The only drawback was that our gas guy had never installed a Thor, and it took him 6 hours to figure it out, while talking on the phone to customer service. But this wasn’t the fault of the stove, and we were charged a flat rate fee for install, so it didn’t matter anyway. If you are hesitant to buy a Thor, put your worries aside and go for it!!! You won’t be disappointed.

As my headline reads, this is the best oven that I’ve owned. I’ve only owned 4 so far, but it is far superior to the Maytag-Esque level of appliances that I had before. The burners are well built, and they really sound like professional gas burners. Everything is constructed well, and the blue interior is cool. My wife loves the low profile look, too. It’s a big step up from more entry level appliances without the excess cost of the Wolf or Viking level ovens. I can’t imaging that there is $3,500 worth of extra value in those brands over the Thor. I’ll probably get a Thor fridge when mine craps out on me. They look nice, and if they’re built like the oven then I’m in. The only thing I miss is the clock. Oh well.

I've given this range 8 months of solid use, so I figured it was time to write a review. I would say I use the stove range at least 4 to 5 times a week if not more, and I use the oven portion at least twice a week. I often do soups and stews, so I tend to do a lot of simmering over long periods of time. Aesthetically, this stove is a real crowd-pleaser. I would say that I get more compliments on the stove than anything that I have ever put inside my home. It is stainless steel, the oven is blue inside, and the cast iron stove top looks very well put together and polished. Cooking wise, I have very few issues and everything has turned out very well. The one thing I can say is that if you have never used the stove like this before, which I had not previously, you are in for higher temperatures with a commercial gas range than you're used to, and that can result in some burning at the bottom of a pot until you get it under control. I've had to adjust the temperature a bit to accommodate for this in everything that I make. The convection part of the oven works very well. I was told that gas stoves aren't ideal for things like baking because the temperature can't be regulated as well. R this oven, that is simply not the case. I made macarons using the convection fan on the oven, and they turned out perfectly. The recipe even accommodated for using a conventional gas oven, which involved taking the macarons out and switching the pan. That step was not necessary because the oven is well-insulated, and the convection fan circulated effectively. I only have one small gripe, but this has been true of every oven I've ever owned that is gas, so I'm not even sure if it's singular to this particular model, but I can say that when you light one burner some of the other ones snap and pop like they are attempting to ignite. It's a bit alarming when it happens rapid fire and you aren't even moving the knob. That said, I feel like this oven is totally solid and I would recommend it to anyone. It's simplistic in its controls, you aren't overwhelmed with a ton of options, and you can focus on what's important - cooking!

This stove is spectacular. Not only does it look great, the heat output of the burners is awesome! My fiance is very picky about his BTU's and this stove is exceeding his expectations! This is very hard to do, as he worked in kitchen's for a long time. This stove was the closest he could get to a commercial stove, without actually getting one (our insurance wouldn't let us - we asked). The oven door is heavy and heats quickly and evenly. Excellent purchase! Ours came on a pallet and is heavy, but not too heavy that two people couldn't lift it to move it in the house. Great shipping and wonderful product!

This is an awesome stove but there are a couple of issues that might make your installation go better than mine. 1. I use LP gas so I had to use the conversion kit the company provides to convert it for LP gas. When it was completely converted, I would only get a very small flame at wide open positions on all the burners. The kit explains how to convert the oven's gas regulator to LP gas but that doesn't help if the regulator's internal diaphragm itself is jammed shut. I called technical support and got through and got great help and they expedited over night a working regulator to me. Technical support also intimated that this is a problem that has happened several times before. I just wanted everyone to be aware of this issue so you don't spend the hours and hours I spent trying to figure out why my brand new stove was not working properly. And it is a bit of a bear to replace the regulator and took me about an hour to accomplish. Picture is of the regulator and found on the back of the stove. Now that the oven is working properly, I love the oven! So now it is an awesome 5 star oven once I got passed its 1 star problem. 2. The manual says to leave the oven door closed while broiling. The oven over temp sensor will shut down the stove completely in about 8-10 minutes with the oven door closed while broiling. I went on line and the oven experts say leave the gas oven door open, and the door even has an intermittent stop that leaves about a 3” gap open at the top, and the broiler works continually without the oven over temperature sensor shutting the oven off. I am assuming the manufacturer has to say leave the door shut because sure enough, someone will leave it open, walk away and forget the broiler is on and somehow set their house on fire. But now you know. It is such a great stove, especially for the price, I feel like I won the lottery. 3. I tried various products to keep the stainless steel looking good and none of them worked so well but Weimar Stainless Steel wipes work just great and I just tried it on a hunch from the Amazon reviews.
