A life saver for non-morning people

I am NOT a morning person. Since I don't have anyone to serve me coffee in bed, I love keeping these on my nightstand so I can pop one in my mouth to "clear the fog" when I wake up. Just enough to help me to crawl to the sink and wash my face so I can make coffee.

Excellent Low Dose Coffee Replacement

tldr - Just the right about of caffeine in a palatable format when compared to regular coffee at less than a quarter the price. There are three aspects to this product that I would like to highlight for you: the packaging, taste, and effect. Packaging - I bought the 6-pack option and each tin came wrapped in plastic to ensure nothing entered the tin. The tin itself is exactly as pictured and feels like standard mint tins. Taste - Be prepared for a strong wintergreen mint taste. The first mint was definitely strange to say the least and I would not recommend handing these to your friends unless they are prepared. That being said after completely my first tin (20 mints) I can say that the mint taste is no longer an issue. In fact, I enjoy the taste rather much now. When compared to a cup of regular coffee this mint's taste is multiple times better. Effect - 40 mg of caffeine is about half a cup of coffee. I find that it take between 30 - 50 minutes for the full effect of the caffeine to come into play and the caffeine feeling sticks around for 3 or 4 hours. At 40 mg I am comfortable that I am not adversely affecting my health (thought recommended limits are much higher than 40 mg) while at the same time getting the clarity of caffeine. I highly recommend this product for it's physiological effects.

Finally! A replacement for 'sheets'

I've been looking for a quick, easy to store, caffeine replacement for sheets brand that have mysteriously disappeared from all stores and online a couple years ago - I have finally found it. I like to keep mostly in my purse and car for those times I need a bit of a boost (energy drinks aren't my thing, and don't store well in a car) or to stay awake when I'm feeling drowsy. I ordered Peppermint, and was also sent an additional tin of wintergreen and small sample packets of the other flavors which has been fantastic to determine exactly which flavors I like (all but 1.. but that 1 is a flavor I never tend to like). I'll be stocking up in peppermint and cinnamon! The flavors themselves do not taste like anything other than a strong mint and the boost is obvious to me (to be fair, I do not drink a lot of caffeine - a friend that drinks many cups of coffee a day said she thought she could feel it but wasn't sure). The order confirmation, and order shipped emails were funny and present the company as small and wanting a loyal customer base. Easy to store, cute little tin, good flavors/taste/boost I can feel that didn't leave me jittery - All in all, I will be buying these again and I'm super happy I found them!

customer service is good

I was so excited to try them after reading all the raving reviews but was unfortunately let down. Very minty, yes, but with a little weird taste at the end. I wouldnt mind and would tolerate it if it was effective and I got the energy it claimed.. but I didn't. I've gone through a whole box, also giving some to coworkers to try and all have also said it doesn't taste great and doesn't do anything for them either. UPDATE Though the mints haven't done much for me, their great customer service makes them a 5 star product in my book. They emailed me fast and promptly offered a refund for the remaining mints. seemed to really care that each customer loves their product. The taste is quite tolerable now and tastes like a normal mint to me after I got used to it. Energy wise still subtle to nothing but I do notice it's hard to sleep at night

Viter Energy Mints are great!

These VITER Energy Mints are great! They are convenient and good-tasting (unlike the bitterness in some caffeine pills). I use them when I know I need a boost during a long afternoon work session or just to watch a movie. I also keep them in my car, to stay sharp while I drive (and to help avoid having to pull over for bathroom breaks from drinking too much coffee). I have recommended them to family, co-workers and friends, and often gift them to discourage sleepy driving. with only ONE mint I immediately felt like I had energy again

I was a bit sceptical at first, knowing that most "caffeine boost"//coffee replacement products tend to be ineffective. 40mg of caffeine per mint sounded unbelievable. To my surprise, these mints did EXACTLY what they were suppose to. I use to work at Starbucks and am a huge coffee drinker, so I never really feel the caffeine energy boost anymore. However, with only ONE mint I immediately felt like I had energy again. Not only that, but they did not give me a headache or any kind of stomach cramp as some sugar free //caffeine products can give. The spearmint flavour is VERY strong. It's like a super altoid, but it's manageable for sure. I have yet to try the winter, but am confident it's just as good! These mints will get the job done. Much better then a 5 hour energy, etc. Side note: these mints are not small. Probably similar to an altoid in size.

Fresh Breath Fresh You

So I bought these mints in hopes of giving myself a boost during work without having to drink energy drinks all the time. I work 12 hour shifts at night and its nice to have a little boost to keep you going through the night. I originally got the spearmint flavor and had mixed feelings about it. It did provide a kick in energy but it was way too powerful of a mint flavor. Felt like someone squeezed a tube of toothpaste in my mouth and I could only finish the mints half way. The nice guys who make these offered to sent me a wintergreen tin for free. The wintergreen is way more tame and was more enjoyable for me. I can't blame the spearmint because some people may like the strong flavor. These work well and the guys behind it seem ready to stand by their product and I can certainly appreciate that.

Great taste and loads of energy

I purchased this product to take on an upcoming cruise since getting my morning and afternoon energy drinks is hard when away from home. I chose the chocolate version based on reading other reviews and my personal taste. The seller contacted me, soon after delivery, to see how satisfied I was with the flavor, and when I told them I hadn't tried them yet since I was saving them to take on a trip, they offered to provide me with free samples of various flavors if I would review them. I accepted and received the samples and began trying them out. I found the wintergreen, peppermint, and Cinnamon flavors to be very strong and not particularly to my taste, but that is generally in line with my taste in general - those not being flavors I generally go for. If you are a fan of those flavors, you will likely appreciate them more than I did. Fair warning, they are NOT subtle, but the flavors are true. I found the chocolate flavor to be extremely nice. When it says chocolate mint, the emphasis should be on the mint, rather than on the chocolate. These are, after all, breath mints, not candies. But the chocolate flavor, in my opinion, smooths out the mint very well, which did not occur with the other flavors. I wouldn't use them to try to satisfy a chocolate craving. After all, these are not Girl Scout mint chocolate cookies, but as a breath mint, they are quite tasty and enjoyable. When it comes to mint, I am pretty much a spearmint person. For example, if I chew mint gum, it will always be spearmint. So the samples of spearmint suited me much better. They are pretty intense, so I likely wouldn't use them as often as I would the chocolate, which seem much smoother. But if I were looking to freshen my mouth AND boost my energy level, these would be a great choice. I will undoubtedly use them all, but I am quite certain that I will go through the chocolate ones much faster. The energy provided by all flavors seems to be quite good. So, far, over a few days, I have taken 3 per day, over the course of a couple of hours, when I was nodding off and wanted to remain alert. The boost seems quite smooth and not at all gittery. I like the fact that I can take them individually, over a period of time, and stop when the right level of energy boost is reached. The fact that you can put them under your tongue for more rapid dissolve and absorption, while still getting a rush of flavor, is also appreciated. Overall, I expect these to be quite a boon on my cruise. I will update my review once I have more long term results. But it appears that I made the right choice. Kudos to other reviewers and thanks to the seller for the free samples.

The perfect caffeine hit for your day.

I hate coffee and got tired of taking excedrin when I needed a boost at work. Soda has too many calories and diet soda isn't good for anyone. This has just the right amount of mint and kick. I find the caffeine high lasts evenly for about 5 hrs for me. One at breakfast and one at lunch gives me plenty of energy all day. When I hit the hay at 9pm, the caffeine is out of my system and I sleep great. I suggest getting a tin of each before sinking money into the bulk bags. While the spearmint is okay, I really love the Wintergreen. I kept all my tins so I can just refill them from the big bag whenever I need. Totally worth the price!!!

Perfect for a.m. get up and go / p.m. pick me up

These tasty little mints are packed with flavor and a kick of caffeine. I've weaned myself off coffee, cut out soda but really missed the caffeine. I've tried other forms like energy drinks which are terrible for you, I've tried caffeine pills which gave me a sore stomach so I was very happy to try the Viter Energy mints. I purchased the Spearmint flavor and when they arrived I could smell them from outside the box! It smelled like huge pack of Wrigley's Spearmint gum- which I used to love as a kid. They come in a small black tin, perfect for a pocket or a purse. The mints are an off white color, smaller than a dime but a little bigger than an altoid. When you first put them in your mouth, the mint taste is powerful, but not too much. I've chewed the mints, they are not hard, they break up easily and have a little crunch. I prefer to suck on them. In my unscientific mind, I think I will absorb the caffeine faster that way. They don't taste like Wrigley's Spearmint gum but more like an ice breaker (but better because of the smell and the boost!) As soon as my order was delivered, I received an email thanking me for my purchase and providing me with the email and phone number to reach them if I had any questions or concerns. I did have a question so I sent an email. I received a response within minutes. I'm very impressed with the product and the company. I can't wait to see what they come up with next!
