Mother's Day gift idea for students
I bought this for my students to make keychains for Mother's Day gifts. I cut the films into 4 pieces and Google searched templates for the kids to trace. Once it dries, they colored. I punched a hole on top before baking. The keychain turned out really cute. Keep in mind that it does shrink to about a third of the size when making the drawings.

These are so fun
I was worried about these not working. But with a little patience, they totally did. And we're EASY!!! I baked them at 300' for literally 1 minute and 30 seconds. You need to draw a picture fairly large for you to get a "good size" after shrunk. The hand print is of a 7 year old, and the foot, a 6 month old. I put the pencil in the picture for scale. Also, on the hand and foot print I used a rubber stamp pad with embossing powder over. The rest are sharpie marker.

what fun!
The grandkids, our grown-up kids and even grandma (me) had such a fun time making things with this. As this was our first time using this product, we didn't realize how much it actually shrunk so our pieces were quite small. Didn't matter to us though, as everyone marveled at what they had made and how cute everything was. Next time. we will use larger patterns! What fun watching them shrink in the oven and being amazed at what we had created!

perfect rainy day activity
My son and I spent HOURS making stuff with these, perfect rainy day activity. Also great for custom jewelry. I cut the sheets into quarters for my kid, they were easier to work with.

Adult coloring group having fun with this blast from the past
Adult coloring group having fun with this blast from the past! Still the same product we 40-somethings remember playing with as kids. Crystal-clear style works with permanent markers; Frosted style works with sharpies on the slick side and color pencil and/or gel pens on the frosted side.

Tips for curling!
If you get nervous about your shrinky dink curling in the oven - don't worry! It does that and when you leave it in a little longer, it then flattens out and shrinks a little more. It doesn't shrink past a certain point so you don't need to worry about it being in there too long. Let it cool before taking it of the pan because it will stick a little. I love these shrinky dink papers and they are great for parties no matter what age you are.

They are super easy to use and provide hours of fun
This brings back memories from my childhood. They are super easy to use and provide hours of fun. I used permanent markers and made sure all the kids were under supervision while we were drawing, all of our shrinky dinks came out of the oven perfect! I will definitely be purchasing more of these when we run out of pages to draw on.

I made "enamel" pins from these sheets
I'm an artist so my motto is "if I can't buy it then I'll make it" and since enamel pins are so expensive, I decided to make my own. I coated the back of my little creations with white paint to make them easier to see. I also added the backing of enamel pins which I found on here for like $5.99 (but make sure it includes the pin and butterfly clasp). I was able to make 12 of these with ONE sheet. I also used a toaster oven and it took less than a minute to make. P.s. when they shrink they'll flatten out so don't freak out right away. Wait til they flatten mostly and then take a mug and press it down to flatten it more. Also, use alcohol based markers like sharpies. I used shuttle art markers, but I think sharpies would be more opaque.

SO much fun!
This is such a great little activity to do with my son and nieces/nephew! I love making them into zipper pull charms, but the possibilities are endless! The smaller, the better as far as them shrinking flat, but they usually need a little press on the corners at the end regardless.

Bought this for kids but the adults loved them too!
Our family had way too much fun with these and the Amazon-recommended Sharpies. We made gift tags for teacher presents, Christmas ornaments, and pretend spy watches for the kids. (Pinterest is a gold mine of shrinky crafts.) These are best done done in a toaster oven, so you can watch the shrinking in action. Our 4 and 5 year olds are pretty responsible with permanent markers, but for younger kids you might consider the Shrinky Dink kits, which come with a rougher side that works with colored pencils.
