Excellent Learning Tool!

I ordered this product on Monday, and it arrived on Wednesday. I bought this product for my 4 year-old daughter. The product comes in a very sturdy box to store the letters and board. It contains five packages of magnetic letters in a variety of colors, both upper and lower case. The letters are easily manipulated and are made of a nice, firm foam. The magnets are strong and adhere nicely to magnetic surfaces! The product also contains a magnet board as seen in the photo. There is an opposite side that is blank, and appears you may possibly use for dry erase purposes? This is truly a great learning tool, and will help you and your child or student on the adventure of learning how to read. Super product!

Excellent product - really fun, great quality!!

5 full sets - you can spell all sorts of words and phrases, its AWESOME! I bought these along with the foam object magnets and my three year old son loves to have me hand him the letters to name the shapes. Great, great investment. I also have a large magnetic whiteboard I bought from staples years ago that we put these on. Totally recommend having one of those, two. Great product.

Attractive letters and great e-books

We are very pleased with this product: 1- letters have the perfect size, soft, colorful and do not scratch the fridge. They also do not really slide on the floor so you do not find half of them under furniture and fridge. 2- I thought my kid would not use the board and would play directly on the fridge but... she actually loves the board! So this is not a travel accessory only. 3- the e-books help me a lot: it gives me ideas to play with my 4yo and I realized I could even use the letters and board with my 2nd grader to work on his spelling words lists. Not messy like salt or shaving cream in a plate and not boring like paper and pencil... Thanks to the Pixel Premium team!

Great for FaceTime With My Grandson

I have a bright three year-old grandson, living halfway across the continent, and we often FaceTime together. This little kit contains not only the magnetic letters, but also a small whiteboard I can use to hold up letters and words. His name is Jack, so we started with words like "Jack has a sack in his pack on his back." The relatively small size is a benefit when using the computer (or cell phone) for Skype or Facetime. The quality is excellent. I will be taking a second set with me when we visit so that he will have one of his own. There are enough letters to do more than simply learn the alphabet. I have used larger boards on FaceTime, but they are unwieldy. This little board is lightweight and travel size. I may also use them here in my office to post happy sayings on the whiteboard I use to explain things to students and patients. There is also a website with companion learning tools and teaching tips. Excellent product! [Side note: I also have some great hand puppets I bought on Amazon: Kermit, Cookie Monster, Mickey Mouse, Burt, & The Count. Grandparents can have fun with grandchildren long before they are really verbal. Try to catch them when they are in their highchair having lunch, dinner, or a snack. This is great for grandfathers who don't know what to do when the kid can't really carry on a conversation!]

Great Learning Tool!

I bought these for my 1 and a half year old. We use them for practicing the alphabet while I cook in the kitchen. She always wants to be under me so this was a cute way to keep her busy away from the stove and learn at the same time. We also use them for messages an posting notes on the fridge. Came with capital and lower case foam letters, pretty sturdy and very vibrant colors. There were 5 colors. Yellow, Green, Orange, Blue and Red. I always put them up high or away after each learning session or they would of course stray from the fridge an end up lost around the house. ;) You will both enjoy

As a speech language pathologist based in the Summerville, South Carolina schools, I plan to use these letter/sound magnets to teach phonemic awareness to all of my therapy students, especially the kindergarteners. What appealed to me about this particular set of letters was the combination sets of upper case and the lower case letters, the choice of varying colors, the safety aspect of the full magnet backing, and the enclosed small travel sized light weight double sided magnetic white board included. Oh, the soft foam texture of the letters will provide another sense of multi sensory learning. These letters will motivate my students' positive participation in producing their targeted speech sounds and in recognizing their letters and forming "cvc" words with these. Game Changer - - ideas on how to use

We have had these for 4 months now. I wanted to wait to write a review because I really wanted us to work with them for awhile before giving our opinion. Bottom line: they are the BEST. Having different colors of upper case and lower case sets really has enabled me to have my boys (4 and 6) work on doing several exercises - - here are some: 1- ordering the letters in the alphabet correctly (I have my 4 year old do this every day while I am making breakfast - - double checking for letters turned the wrong way as well as correct order) 2- replacing all the vowels in the alphabet line up with a different color vowel set (my 4 year old likes to use the blue letters and then replace the vowels with the orange letters -- not forgetting "y" !) 3- spelling words in one color but using a different color for any vowels in a given word ( or using a different color for blends within a word (my 6 year old does a lot of this) 4- practicing proper and common nouns by utilizing the capital letters to delineate the proper nouns I have never written a review for any product before on Amazon. However, I am just too pleased with this purchase not to give a shout out to this wonderfully designed magnet set. It is a game changer for us with grammar and reading.

These are so bright and fun! I love that they came with a magnetic whiteboard also! I love that they are foam, but I did have difficulty storing them in the included box without pinching the foam and creating indents, so I have moved them to a different box. Also, the picture shows lowercase letters in all 5 colors, but my box had uppercase letters in orange and yellow and lowercase letters in green, blue, and red. This sounds silly to bring up, but it bothered me that when spelling out long names I had to use one color for the first letter and then could never repeat that color again. I'm sure for children's play this is fine. I'm using these for teaching. A huge bonus for teaching would be having the vowels in one color and the consonants in another, but that's just an idea. I'm just being picky here. The set is very well made and has many letters included. I love these letters and still give them all five stars!

Best set of letters

I bought these for my granddaughters. Love this set! Previously I had both the soft vinyl plastic set and the hard plastic set with the magnets in the back. The soft, nonmagnetic set has to be constantly washed to retain their sticking quality. Several of the magnets fell out of the hard plastic letters. And the 2 year old tripped with one in her mouth and cut her lip. I love the Pixels. They stick to metal well, no magnets falling out. They're nice and soft and easily washed. But the best thing about Pixel Premium ABC Magnets is their value! You would have to pay three times this much to get this many letters. Previous sets were frustrating because we never had enough letters to make full sentences. You really can't go wrong with this set...highly recommend.

Very pleased!

I spent a great deal of time searching for these letter magnets, as I had read negative reviews of several (due to complaints about toxic smells and sets not having enough letters). I couldn't be more pleased with the Pixel Premium ABC magnets. Here are the reasons we love them: --NO toxic smell --Soft (so they don't scratch the fridge) --A great variety of upper and lower case letters --Bright and colorful --Includes a great magnetic board --Very nice packaging, with letters that are immediately read to use (It bothers me when I have to punch out letters/shapes/game pieces from large sheets when I buy a new product.) I am a speech-language pathologist and parent, and know I will get great use out of these professionally and at home with my three-year-old daughter. This is an excellent product!
