Fabulous Case!

I love this gorgeous case! I have a Kindle Paperwhite as well as the Amazon and Fintie cases. Although I like both those cases (the Amazon better), it is very difficult to remove the Kindle from either of them. Since I also like to read sans case when at home, I was still looking. I am so happy I found this one. It is beautiful and beautifully made. The Kindle is held very securely by the substantial straps, yet is easy to remove. When you hold this case, it feels like you are reading from an actual book, a feeling I really like. Ironically, I enjoy this case so much, I just may leave my Kindle in it even at home!

Beautiful!

Loved the product! I appreciated that it's a family business using old bookbinding techniques. Because of the nature of the material being similar to hardcover books, I anticipate it will also age in a similar fashion with possible bent corners or roughed edges, but I'm the type to appreciate those changes. The cover itself is beautifully made and I appreciated the details in packaging. I was worried about the leather and elastic not being secure because the photo on Amazon seemed to show a lot of extra room/space above the Kindle. The Kindle looked small and short in the Amazon photo as if it may fall out of the elastic. However, in reality, it fits perfectly and doesn't have the space on top as it does in the photo. The leather and elastic feel very tight, snug, and secure around my 2015 Kindle Paperwhite. I'm very glad I went with the leather interior!

Great case, but...

I love my case for my new Kindle Paperwhite. I ordered the Great Gatsby case because it is one of my favorite books. However, the case has palm trees on it when Great Gatsby took place in Long Island and New York City. But it doesnt bother me since palm trees can be interior decorations. But a different photo of a city skyline could have captured more of the essence of the book.

Like a pretty real book, with all its pros and cons

I just got this case a few days ago and I really love it. It looks really classy, like a pretty book, and gives that sensation. I keep wanting to gift it to other people. However, there are a few things you should know about it: - It isn't textured. The design is printed on it. It's not ultra high res printing, either, and the gold parts are only slightly shiny, but I still love how it looks. - It isn't soft on the outside. It's made out of cardboard and paper with no give, not fabric or leather and not even softer cardboard you'd usually find in hardcover books. - It isn't waterproof. This is obvious given the previous statement. If a tiny bit of liquid gets on it, you should wipe it off quickly. - The spine doesn't bend backwards or all the way around. It's like a real book in this respect. - The white rectangular in the middle of the inside cover is a bit annoying since it stands out against the dark background. Even with all these things in mind, I love this case and am really happy I bought. It looks and feels like a real book. The leather holding the kindle in place feels really high quality and both the inside and outside of the case are really attractive. I bought a simple plastic case initially, and that had the plastic/vinyl smell and a cheap feel. This one is really classy and makes you feel like you're reading a real book.

My favorite little 'Book' :)

I adore this Kindle case! Lots of compliments :) It's so stinkin' cute! It secures my Kindle 8 just fine. I like it so much, I don't want to ruin it by folding the front cover behind the Kindle, so I literally hold this as if it were a real book, and it's no big deal for me comfort-wise. I loved that it came with a little information about how it's handmade and where it came from. Charming. :) Someone mentioned a sticker on the cover - yes, it did have a sticker, but if you peel it slowly and carefully it won't tear off terribly. I'm very happy with my "book"; I will be ordering another for my daughter's Kindle for her birthday - she loves mine so much.

Beautifully made

I will be honest, I don't like E-readers. I bought one out of necessity but I prefer actual books. This case makes me feel better about the compromise, though. Not only is it just gorgeous and well made, but it seems so much like holding a real book that I can almost trick myself. Several times, when nearing the end of a page, I have tried to "flip" to the next. Old habit or super convincing case? I don't know. Either way, this case is stunning. (This is for the My Book case)

Love it!

I was hesitant to spend $25 on this product after reading several reviews that claim the quality to be cheap, but I loved the look of it so much, I ordered it anyway. I'm glad I did. It looks just like an old-style book, and holds my Kindle securely. It feels just like a real hardback book when you hold it. It does come with a little sticker on the front saying not to fold the spine backwards (just like you wouldn't do that to a real book) so that it will last much longer. I am one that likes to fold the cases over to the back, but I haven't done that to this cover just yet. As long as you treat your case with the same respect you would a real book, there is no reason for this to be any less than five stars. It is made just like a real hardback book - it's cardboard, it's not plastic. It's not made to withstand everything that a plastic case can. I am very happy with my purchase and love showing it off to my friends.

High Quality, unique and beautiful.

This is a handsome case and am very impressed with the quality. Th ornate look of binder is both classic and beautiful and the texture of the cover feels fantastic in your hand. After a few turns, the cover rests perfectly level with the table when your Kindle is inside. The Kindle itself rests inside on a stitched leather backing which appears to be glued to the back cover and the Kindle itself fits snuggly inside the leather binders. Once inside, it's not going anywhere without purposeful effort to remove it. This KleverCase doesn't have a sleep/wake feature, or a strap that you find on most day planners to keep the cover shut, but quite honestly, I cared very little for those features. I wanted something that looked like and felt like an old book and also protected my Paperwhite from odd things that scratch when pinned inside my computer bag. ...Check and Check. With this now in my hands, at $35, I do feel I got everything I hoped for and more. It's beautiful. No regrets on the purchase at all.

Best Kindle case ever!

I write reviews only about once or twice a year. I had to give my feedback on how AMAZING this kindle case is. Just like a hard cover book. It’s so sturdy and strong with a really cool vintage design! The inside has a really cool yellow wallpaper-like design which I love! Don’t listen to the bad reviews on this case. People who are dissatisfied just don’t know how to read product specifications. And then they mysteriously wonder why this case does not have a magnetic wake to sleep function. It should be obvious anyways. Besides, It’s not that hard to put your kindle back to sleep. It’s a simple push of the button. This case rocks!

Beautiful and sturdy

Beautiful case! I love the look and feel, makes me feel like I’m reading an actual book vs. holding my kindle. Sometimes I wish I could bend the cover back for a easier hold but instructions recommend not doing that. This cover also doesn’t add much weight to the device which is nice.
