Just like in Hallmark Movies
Perfect for our holiday event! The noise didn't bother us, but we had speakers playing music as well. Used more fluid than I expected. We went through a gallon in less than an hour, so I recommend over-ordering on the snow!

WOW! PUTS THE CHAUVET V TO SHAME!!
I have been using Chauvet snow machines for about 10 years and have 6 right now. I just bought 2 of these 1byone snow machines and boy, I AM PLEASED!..so much so that i am going to buy 2 more! The advantages are that the 1byone weighs A LOT less than the Chauvet and i can easliy put up 4 machines instead of 1 because of 1byone being sooooo light weight...the Chauvet weighs around 25-30 lbs and the 1byone around 10! Also, the output quality of the snow is better than the Chauvet. This is s review from a guy who did NOT get a free machine but by this weekend will own 4 of them ;-) So this is a legit 5 star rating for this product... UPDATE!!! SEPT 2016!--- JUST BOUGHT 2 MORE MACHINES FOR THE 2016 CHRISTMAS SEASON COMING UP..IM GOING TO MAKE A MASSIVE SNOW STORM THIS CHRISTMAS WITH ALL 6 OF THESE MACHINES!! CAN'T WAIT!!

Great product that delivered on it's advertising.
Used it at a private school to surprise pre-k to 6th-grade kids. They went wild when they sighted through their windows the "snow" falling. The teachers let the kids out by classroom, so they could enjoy the Florida snow. They danced and screamed and tried to catch the "flakes" as they fell. (I was on the roof blowing it down on them.) It landed on their hair and clothes and lasted quite a while. The next day I tried it on the plants and landscape in the front courtyard and layered it on pretty thick. The look of snow lasted 15-20 minutes. I used Froggy's Flakes Extra Dry Snow Fluid. Three things I wish were different are 1) the cord for the on-off switch needs to be a few feet longer, 2) that the unit would oscillate, 3) that it had an automatic cut-off for low fluid. There are probably more expensive ones that have these features so for the price I paid ($79 on Amazon) I got what I paid for, and what I paid for is awesome!

Filmmaker approved! Affordable solution to a snowless Alabama!
I’m a filmmaker and I live in South Alabama where it NEVER snows. I looked into renting professional snow machines, but the cost was staggering. I bought two of these machines and I am blown away! In my test video (cell phone footage) I was only running one machine. It ran for about 6 min before I had to refill the snow juice. I used the full six minutes to cover the bushes and then refilled for the falling snow. It was raining lightly when I did this so I worried it wouldn’t work so well. I feared the rain would quickly dissolve the foam bubbles, but nope. The fake snow lasted about 15 mins, maybe because it was 70 degrees and raining? In any case this is a perfect affordable solution to my special effects needs! It’s louder than you might imagine, fortunately there is no dialogue in the winter scene I need to film. I didn’t buy the snow liquid (too expensive). Look for the homemade recipe— Mr. Bubbles, rubbing alcohol and distilled water. I downgraded only on the remoter because the cord isn’t long enough to be useful and a button on the back of the machine would’ve been sufficient. Instead I have an extra trip hazard.

Kids LOVE it!
I used these for a snow effect in our Christmas musical at church. Boy, did the kids love it! It puts out a huge volume of "snow", which is really just super fine bubbles. Works just fine indoors - the bubbles dry and disappear with no lasting residue. They are VERY loud, however - think vacuum cleaner volume. This was a problem for me, as I wanted to use them during a musical number. The solution was to cut holes in the gabled roof, and place them behind the wall, blowing through the hole. The result was much quieter and usable. Here's a tip, however, if you're going to conceal the unit like I did - you must cut a hole big enough for both the cloth "Tip" and also the little holes in the front of the unit - about 4" around should do it.

Blizzard of Snow
This machine produces a blizzard of ‘snow’ We live in the south, so snow is just not heard of, especially for Christmas! We were t-shirts and flip flops for the holidays, with children wishing for snow. We turned this on and the look on their faces was priceless! Yes, when it’s warm the ‘snow’ feels A little like bubbles, if you aren’t used to snow, but the look and dry feel is amazing. Better, it actually collected on our lawn/grass (it was in the 70’s) and looked like snow in pictures. We had so much fun. They have since asked for the ‘snow’ to be run again and they happily play in the ‘snow’ I love that it’s safe, harmless, doesnt hurt pets, kids, or the landscape. I will be definitely using this machine again and again! Priceless fun!

The kids loved it. It has a blower so it is ...
I was expecting a piece of junk because of the price. I was totally blown away by its performance. It made a miniature blizzard in my back yard. The kids loved it. It has a blower so it is loud, but everyone will be concentrating on the snow and not notice.

A must have for xmas enthusiast
If yo love Christmas, then you absolutely need this! I had two many years ago and had to buy a new one, this is well worth the money and everyone will absolutely love it! I would recommend putting on a ladder near one end of the house or if you have a two story home then setting it near a window with the screen off. A slight breeze helps disburse the foam and makes it look like it's really snowing. Hence if you put up high, as it drops it looks more realistic. Keep the liquid snow on hand, I buy the gallon online.
