I bought this because my son had just recently lost his retainer during lunch. I wanted something that I could attach easily to his lanyard (since he is a latchkey kid), and he suggested something similar to this. I was shocked this product exists. I am convinced that whomever evented this, must have been a parent who was sick of replacing their child's retainer. I can tell you, this product works like a dream. It is sturdy, zipper is strong, and has held up to what it is suppose to work for. This product is so great, I would buy it again in a heart beat, due to the convenience and durability of the product. Great Product and Highly Recommend!

I ordered three of these as stocking stuffers, and I just got them this past weekend. They are very nice, and I hope that they last longer than the plastic ones I have been buying for the past couple of years. Another reviewer mentioned the price, but I knew what I was paying when I ordered them. If they last longer than the plastic ones then it is worth it. Once my kids start using them I may revisit this review, but until then I give them 5 stars. It's after Christmas and the kids have gotten them and put them on their bags. All three kids think they are great. I see that they are "unavailable" right now. They must have sold out, cause they are a winner.

The fabric is nice and the zipper looks sturdy. I like that is had a plastic case inside that snaps closed so I'm not worried about my son dropping his lip bumper when he unzips it. Edit - We've had this case for a few months now and I'm so happy with it! My son has been pretty rough with it and it's held up to everything. The outside fabric is strong enough to hold up to washing and it dries quickly. The inside case is a sturdy plastic that's held in place by an elastic band so it doesn't fall out when you unzip it. The clip is thick metal and is easy to clip and unclip. I looked at a lot of cases and was worried because the Retain-It was more expensive and there weren't many reviews. I also couldn't find anything else like it so I didn't know how it compared to the standard mouth guard cases offered everywhere. I bought the Retain-It and a well reviewed standard mouth guard case at the same time even though most of the reviews (even the positive ones) said the plastic hinge eventually breaks. I was so disappointed by the lightweight plastic of the standard mouth guard case that I returned it right away. The Retain-It is more expensive but I expect it to last longer than the other mouth guards out there.

Perfect for attaching to my son's lunch box. Back when I was in middle school, I more than once accidentally threw my retainers in the trash after luch. Since they have to be removed while eating, and you don't want to gross out your friends at the lunch table, the natural inclination is to hide them under something. Once lunch is over, the retainers get tossed with the trash inadvertently. This case appealed to me since: 1. It attaches easily to the handle of the lunch box so is always at hand during school lunch 2. Had a hard inner case that will protect the retainers. 3. Has the zippered outer case (reviews for snap close cases mentioned the closure failing or the hinges breaking resulting in lost retainers) 4. Was available in many colors, so we were able to get one that matches the color of the lunch box, thus does not stand out as "odd". 5. It is small enough so as not to be obnoxious, yet is roomy enough for both the upper and lower retainer to be held safely. It is pricier than the other options, but a worthy investment for a pricier item!

So far it looks and feels great, I will do another post on how well it hold up with an 11 year old, not the products fault but it's a big deal to us... Great quality. (Assembled in Tiawan) Came pretty quickly. We got the Black one. I have to show son how to hold it and close it properly with one hand. LOVE the clip. Just hope the clip holds up. It's made of aluminum. There is a small stretchy rope that holds the plastic case on the carry case, im a bit worried about that but..... and i habe included pictures for all to view. I'll recap this after a few weeks.... until then it's a 5star so far. UPDATE, the Black fabric case holding up great. The plastic holder inside is already broken. My kid is 11 so............

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a partial denture called a “flipper” that can be quite uncomfortable when eating certain foods. I needed a case that could clip to my purse so I didn’t leave the flipper behind in a napkin when I’m in a restaurant or theater. It solved my dilemma of not wanting to put the flipper in my purse or on the table and then put it back in my mouth! This case is perfect. It’s a slim size (it doesn’t scream DENTURE CASE!) and I like the color choices of the neoprene outer case.

This is great, totally worth it! Before buying this one I tried to be cheap and make my own, only to regret it! Don’t be cheap this is a great investment and will definitely save you money on replacement retainers! Trust me, because I was trying to be cheap I had to buy two replacement retainer is before buying this! Being cheap in the long run cost me $500!!! Once my son had this we’ve had no problems with his retainer!!!

I bought this case for my daughter when she was wearing her retainer 24/7. This case makes it easy to stow her retainer in a place that she will remember it (instead of setting it on the table in the cafeteria and losing it). It clips onto her backpack and zips tight so there is no chance of losing it. I'm thinking this would be good for football mouthguards that don't have a helmet tether.

I purchased this for my son who is in middle school. He got his braces off (yay) and has to wear a retainer 24/7 for 6 weeks (before switching to night time only). He keeps this clipped on his lunch bag that he takes to school. When he eats lunch, he puts his retainer in the case that comes inside the pouch and zips it up. That way, he will not accidentally leave it on his lunch tray or napkin and it gets thrown away. He has used this for three weeks and so far, so good. He also clips this the his jean's belt loop or to my purse when we go out to eat. That way, it will be safe.

This is incredibly handy to have for my invisalign braces. I've heard so many stories about people losing their retainers, but this is so convenient on my purse, that I've never had a problem just popping them in to the case.
