If it doesn't work on PS3 for you, read this...
When I first tried plugging this in on the PS3 it didn't work and it took me a few minutes to figure out why... Most hardware you simply plug it in and it works automatically. But with the PS3, you actually need to re-configure the display settings if they were not previously set to S-Video / Composite. If it was setup previously on HDMI, you need to plug it in with an HDMI cord to an HDMI TV, then switch it to Composite / S-Video and save your changes. It's a huge pain if you don't have an HDMI TV on hand (I actually set mine up blind through a youtube video) but I can confirm it does work if you know what you're doing.

Worked for Playing PS1 Games on a PS2 Console!
I was having problems playing PS1 games with my PS2 console. My Insignia television was giving me an error message. After some research, I found that using the YPbPr component cable allows the console to send a variety of pixel resolutions to my television. My television can't handle 240p input, thus the error message when using PS1 games (PS1 games default to that resolution, while PS2 games use a higher resolution). I discovered that there is only one resolution (480p?) that S-Video sends/receives, so I assumed this cable would "upconvert" the output of my PS2 to that setting, and my television would play my PS1 games. It does the job, and the image looks good on my television. Also, it's a decent quality cable.

Best for your money
You won't find a better cable for your money. The cords have a heavier, yet flexible coating that I feel will resist kinks and warping of the sheething. Works as advertised, and I see no difference in picture quality from OEM.

Fully functional; Cord seems quality and durable.
Fully functional solid product to replace the old faulty OEM Cord. Check to make sure you have S-Video before you buy if it is your intention to use the S video connector. That was my mistake.

Works perfectly w/ my PS One (slim) and Sony Trinitron HD CRT TV.
Works perfectly w/ my PS One (slim) and Sony Trinitron HD CRT TV. Cables are nice and thick, connections feel secure. Length is ideal.

Picture looks so crisp!
A friend gave me an old CRT a while ago and I just realized that it has an S-video input so I decided to get this cable. The difference is night and day, I'm very happy with this!

Got The Job Done
Got the job done. I used this set of cables to connect my PS1 to an old Radio Shack passive/unpowered S-Video switch box which is also running my N64 and SNES on S-Video. Performance and image quality are flawless. Recommended!

Great cable, great price!
Excellent cable quality. Much better than I thought It would be. The Connector that plugs into the PS2 A/V pot is a tad snug.

Awesome set if cables for the price
Using in my retro room for my PS1 and never used S video before, but it's much better than composite.

Great for CRTs
still using a CRT TV? S video is a big upgrade over composite or coax, but I cant recommend these for anyone not using a CRT. Just get a PS3 set of component cables if youre using a hdtv
