Very soft!

I am very impressed by the quality of the materials in this strap. The strap itself is very soft and the plastic parts seem high quality. I had to modify my strap since I wanted it for a Bolivian Charango, but it all worked out perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this product to a fellow musician.

not everyone does that so I thought that was great.

Got it for my husband's newly acquired 8-string concert uke and he said it works surprisingly well. He's a guitarist by trade so he likes traditional straps but didn't want to install strap buttons. Took a chance and it paid off. He said the concern was whether or not the larger concert uke would be "top heavy" with this type of strap and require more force holding it in position. After one song, he was sold. Also, the seller was very responsive about following up on customer satisfaction of the product; not everyone does that so I thought that was great.

Wished it were softer on the neck.

Very sturdy and does exactly what it shows. The support is bonus but I don’t like the strap material on my neck. Maybe a bit picky bit I prefer the softer lanyard like materials. 5 stars because I don’t think my mis-read of material should effect review of the product.

Clever, comfy and it works!

Have had this strap about two weeks now and I'm delighted with it. Full disclosure: It's taking me some time to get used to it - never used a strap of any kind before - but it's comfortable and does the job. My ukulele does not have a strap button and I didn't want to add one. This hook system does the trick. I have to say, the construction with the adaptable buckles & clips is very clever! I use it in the neck loop configuration. The over the shoulder version wasn't as comfy for me but I think it's quite innovative that you can convert it from one to the other.

For those who don't want to drill holes!!!

This is perfect for performers or students who want the support and ease to play with proper posture. This is not for anyone who wants a hands free strap. Would not recommend for teachers, but a teacher might want to recommend this to a student. For those who want to be hands free look for ukulele buttons as they will hold your strap in place like a guitar. This strap is very study and easy to place on the ukulele without any damage. Just be gentle taking it on or off. Know what this can to and know what it can't do.

It is comfortable to wear in either way

Got this strap to go with my daughter's new uke I bought her for Christmas. It fits her well. We've tried it both ways, hooked into the sound hole and looped around the head. She prefers it looped on to the head. When she attached it to the sound hole, she would forget that she had to still hold it and it would flop forward, which freaked her out a few times. It is comfortable to wear in either way, around the neck or the shoulders. Nicely made, too. Very nice looking as well. I would definitely buy from this company again.

The strap works as advertised, and is great help in relieving my left hand of having to hold the uke in addition to fingering the chords. Also, the instructions show three different ways to use the strap (all without having to drill for pins.) Excellent quality strap with good directions how to use. He gives three different ways to use the strap, all without drilling a hole in the ukulele.

This strap fits perfectly on my Uke without getting in the way of my strumming and I am a short 5 ft woman who has rather large boobs in the way. This strap is a great solution for those women who love to play the uke but have the same woman issue as me - a figure that is not conducive to playing a uke without support! Just a note: this strap requires that you hold the uke, you can't let the uke hang on the strap hands-free like a standard guitar strap. It is just a means of support to help assist with holding it in place while you play. Love it! Thanks guys for making a great product!

Great support for my ukulele - love the strap!

It fit my ukulele just fine and is very easy to put on and take off without scratching any surfaces of my ukulele. Adds great support for my instrument and I don't every have to worry about it accidentally falling while I am playing.
