I got this for my son's 9th birthday, since he really wanted a Ukulele. He loves it! The color is very vibrant and fun to look at it. He is very proud of his Ukulele and wants to show everybody. He loves the bag that it comes with and takes good care of it. It is a perfect fit to store the Ukulele. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a beginner's Ukulele.

I Love It!

According to some reviews, falling out of tune is an issue with the strings, not the ukulele itself. I just ordered a new set of strings, so I hope it will stay in tune with them on it; I'll update my review when it is re-strung. I hope it remedies the tuning issue because otherwise I really love this thing and would hate to have to send it back. Update: I re-strung it with d'Addario strings and I couldn't be happier!

One of the best gifts I've ever given

My friend travels for work and would take her cheap ukulele everywhere. She was driving back to her hotel in a rental car one night after supporting 2nd-shift, when she stopped at a stoplight on a highway overpass and was rear-ended by a drunk driver going 80+miles per hour. Three things were totaled: her rental car, her sternum, and her ukulele. It took her months to recover physically, she's still a very nervous driver, and she didn't even think about music anymore. When she opened the wrapping paper on her birthday, she was overcome with emotion and held the ukulele to her chest, crying. Fast-forward to 6 months later, this last weekend, we were sitting around a campfire. She looked at me, gave me an enormous smile, and pulled out her Honsing Ukulele New Basswood Soprano Ukulele, we proceeded to swap songs until everyone else had gone to bed. Great ukulele for the price.

PLAYABILITY FOR ALL. GOOD SOUND

I WAS AMAZED AT THE SOUND. BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 5 YEAR OLD GRANDSON, BUT HE HASN'T GOTTEN IT YET. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH IT. AM A BEGINNER ALSO. BUT THE CLEAR, BEAUTIFUL SOUND!!!! VERY GOOD FOR ANYONE. THE FRETS ARE A BIT CLOSE TOGETHER, BUT STILL PLAYABLE FOR ADULTS.

Great quality and easy to hold and play

Our 4 year old plays this every day while he sings. We got tuning app on our phone to keep it in tune. Great quality and easy to hold and play.

Nice ukulele for the kiddos

I bought this ukulele for my 5 year old daughter who is currently obsessed with the movie Coco. I took out some Sharpies to add the designs to it and she is in love with it! We bought it mostly to use as a toy, but I'm hoping that this will help her become interested in music. She 'plays' it everyday. The strings are strong and it's small enough for her to carry everywhere (lucky us).

Great little set for the price! My daughter loves it!!

We surprised our daughter with this cute ukulele set for Christmas and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, expecially for the price. While it's not a concert instrument, it tuned well and the sound was surprisingly good. The tuner and strap are nice and work well. The case is flimsy and does nothing to protect the instrument (other than keeping it from getting dusty, I guess) but that's not a deal breaker for us. We were never able to find the pick that was supposed to be included in our package, but once again, no big deal. Overall this is a great little set. We wanted something she could learn to play on without the fear of ruining an expensive instrument. This fits perfectly. There are a ton of instructional videos on YouTube, but we did end up purchasing some books separately for her to learn from. This is such a fun set, and I'd totally repurchase and/or recommend to a friend. I paid full price for the product and am not being compensated in any way for this review. This is a nice quality ukulele

This is a nice quality ukulele. It keeps tuned way better than the other ukuleles we have. Sound is quite loud and clear. My daughter loves the rainbow design. Would definitely buy again and may just get one of the other colors!
