I have to write this.... considering all the idiocy I see in some reviews for this. Alot of people are posting bad reviews that dont' have a clue what they're doing. Yes this is stiff as hell, but once you mount it to a wall that has a 100% resistance (as opposed to trying to hold one end still with one arm while seeing how it works with the other in mid air, and it is hard as hell to move like that)..... you can mostly move it with one friggin hand..... And the PICTURE instructions are pretty clear. It comes with two big wood screws and two plastic.... screw mounts. The plastic mounts or plugs are only for BRICK WALLS. Drill a hole in the wall, shove the plug in the hole, then screw the screw into the plug. For drywall you'll need a Stud Finder, cause you HAVE to screw it into a stud (otherwise, ya it's so stiff you'll prolly rip it off the wall without it being in a stud). Mine's in my bathroom for when I'm in there a long time cutting my hair AND shaving and whatnot. I dont' have to risk my expensive tablet being on a stand on my toilet tank and being all wobbly anymore. It's IN the stud, and it's so secure because of that it cant' come off. And I can easily adjust it with one hand. This thing is great. My only complaint is I thought it was all silver (the pics look like it). The part that slides onto the hinged arm that actually holds the tablet is big, ugly white plastic. So I just keep that part in my bathroom counter drawer unless I'm going to use it. Only takes a minute to put it and the tablet on the arm. And I fold up the arm and swing it up against the wall and it looks fine.

Install was very easy and very sturdy. Now we have our family calendar, recipes and music all in one place and easily accessible in the kitchen. Holds my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 very well. The frame is all metal and very strong and only the part that holds the tablet is plastic but still very well made. 02/14/16 Update - The mount is still working great. I love it when I am cooking dinner so I can listen to music and reference my recipe. When not in use for cooking it swings right around and works great to keep track of my kids activities and other upcoming events.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when receiving this item. The metal is very strong and when using a tablet the vibration is minimal. When installing this and finding a stud, it is rock solid and the tilt/rotation/swivel allows for just about at position desired. I still placed it out of reach of my daughter, but I wouldn't be worried if she was. I have a handful of devices and all fit with no problem. My wife usually tightens it without checking all corners are pressed against the rubber and therefore it gets a little loose, but if you check this when putting the device in it won't be an issue. The only con I have is it scuffed up the paint sliding the bracket on the wall and that will need to be touched up, but not a big deal, especially since I have no doubts this will last in that spot for quite a long time. You definitely get more than your worth for the price. I don't usually have time to leave reviews but this is a fantastic item.

I'm glad I found this great little mount. It is definitely solidly constructed. Installation was easy. Please note that you absolutely will need to install this in a stud (the provided anchors are for installation in brick, I think). The hinges are a bit stiff at first but all you need to do is pop the caps off the hinges on the top and bottom, put an allen wrench in one end and a ratchet in the other end, and loosen it up a little bit, then replace the caps. You only need to do this to two hinges and it takes maybe 5 minutes to do. Very easy. I like that this mount can be used for multiple devices. It is a big upgrade over the previous mount we used in this space. Definitely worth the money.

The plastic fixture to hold the tablet is very secure and can easily be rotated horizontally or vertically. The swivel arm is very stiff so I did need to spend a good amount of time loosening the fixtures to enable me to use it without ripping the screws out of the wall. The swivel arm is coated or painted and it does leave gray scuff marks just by putting it flush against the wall. The dry wall screws provided were not strong enough so I did end up using my own. Overall very happy with this tablet wall mount.

Bought this wall mount to allow me to watch my ipad while working out on an elliptical. Set up was easy - I was able to mount it with screws in a stud which I recommend - and fastening the ipad to the mount was simple and firm. Although others have voiced concern about how their device is fastened and I understand why that was said, I found it relatively easy to do and I have no concerns about the security of my device/ipad. Other reviewers have noted the stiffness of the hinges and they are that, but I found that stiffness comforting in that when you move your device you know it will stay in exactly the spot you placed it. If you have mounted in a stud, moving the mount from position to position is not a problem. In fact, the movement only reinforces how solid and secure the mount is. I would be concerned if the hinge movement was too loose, but not if it is stiff like this is.

I'm not a tablet user, but I have a flat "leaf" antenna (10-1/8" x 10-7/8" x .75") that I need at a specific angle in order to pick up the optimal collection of Over-The-Air stations. This is great for the antenna except that the antenna is a wee bit too thick for the clips (can thicker clips be had, it looks like it's trivial to replace?) but I can improvise. Mounting was easy. This is mounted to the rear of a bookcase cubby (1/4" plywood) by two screws. Although plastic drywall mollies are included, for the two mounting screws, I used metal butterfly drywall anchors to attach to the thin plywood and it is sturdy as it could be going into a stud. Mounted, there is great flexibility in movement horizontally and with vertical angle. Rotation is firm, not as sticy as the main hinges, about the same level of "stickiness" as the vertical hinge. Easy to move but a firm grip. The antenna is a bit too thick for the mount (my issue, although with a different clamp there is a great opportunity for added functionality) but the clips are flexibly arrange and easy to move with screw clamps once it's positioned where you want them. It is true that the hinges are tight, but for my application especially, this is a good thing as I can aim the antenna and it will not move even if lightly jostled in the back of the bookcase cubby.

I bought 2 of these units for my 10 inch Fire HD. The wall mount is well made and durable. I will agree the it is very stiff even after attaching it to the wall, HOWEVER, you can loosen up the nuts and bolts for each section to make it much easier to move. It'll take a couple of small sockets and 2 allen/hex wrenches. Once I did this, the unit was moving like putting a knife through hot butter. If you are looking for a wall mount for your tablet and can manage to loosen the nuts, this is a fantastic mount.

I mounted this up to down instead of side to side. It is in my kitchen, my tablet is a little tv and my recipe book. I wanted it to be higher when I use as a tv and I wanted it to be lower when using as my recipe book. It works perfect. I, like some others have mentioned, did not like the white grippers on the corners (first picture shows white corner grips and how I mounted it) I painted them black (second picture). Other than those corners it was perfect for what I wanted it to do.

I had an iPad laying around that I didn’t use anymore. I thought it would be neat to attach it to swivel arm that was mounted to the wall next to my bed, so I can watch tv and movies while laying flat on my bed with the iPad held right in front of me. This product allowed me to do just that. Pros: - nice packaging - easy to install - looks great - fully articulates - flexible Cons - a little too stiff, but that can be fixed. As a plus, it also makes it feel even sturdier.
