This is the BEST single K-cup coffee pot I have bought. I have bought the Keurig, Mr Coffee, Hamilton Flex Brew and others, but none of them are as good as this little one. It's small and powerful. The coffee comes out smelling and tasting great every time with no grounds. Takes up very little space on the counter and so easy to use! I am so pleased with this purchase and the price was great as well. I am now thinking of buying another one for the office.

I've had my "CHULUX Single Serve Coffee Maker Brewer for K Cups" for a year and a few months. Over that time, I've regularly made about 6 cups of perfect coffee with very few issues. I was a former owner of at least 6 Keurig brand coffee makers that worked, but failed after about 8 months.. YES.. all of them lasted ONLY about 8 months. Tried everything on YouTube to get them to work again... but nothing. So, I got fed up with their POOR quality and decided to try the CHULUX. This little thing is built like a "tank". It just keeps going! Coming from the BIG BULKY Keruig's to this small thing was a bit of a surprise.. but I now love it's smaller size and foot print. The Keurig tank and water handling system design is flawed. The whole system constantly holds water in the internal tubes. I found this IS a breeding ground for mold (after taking a few of mine apart trying to diagnose issues) that you cannot see (without disassembly) and cannot get rid of. Flushing with vinegar or their brand of cleaner only "kills" the mold. This leaves "dead slime" from the mold that gets hung up in the system. The Keurig water pumps are definitely inferior (longevity wise) to the CHULUX. They just will not hold up to 6 cups a day for more than about 8 months. As to those that have had the water overflow problem, the issue (CHULUX's) is there is a small particle strainer at the bottom of the "throat" where you pour the water in and it passes through the strainer into the tank. The holes are just too small and too few. Unless you slowly pour the water into the tank.. you will occasionally get a back flow. I feel this is a design flow on their part. What I have done is to remove this strainer (easily done with one finger) and use it without it. I've not had any issues with the tank getting foreign matter accumulated or in the machines operation. As to those with the grounds coming lose from the pods and getting into the coffee or on the machine itself or counter top. I've not had this issue. It could be the pods themselves have a defect or poorly made. It could be how you are putting the lid down on the pod and latching it shut. The motion should be swift once you start to the closure process. I make one swift movement and latch it immediately. As for the heat up time of the water. When I first received my CHULUX, my last old Keurig was still working. So, I timed how long each took from "start brewing button push" until coffee started flowing. The CHULUX was maybe 5 seconds slower than the Keurig. The improvements I would like to see would be a faster brew time ( I would pay more for this feature or such a model) and bigger holes in the water strainer.

It was time for a new Keurig but when I saw the prices I was flabbergasted. Since it's just me and I only need the small pot, I couldn't see shelling out $79+ for Keurig. When I saw the Chulux and the outstanding reviews I decided to take a chance. I wanted the orange color because it was very continental looking. Lo and behold Amazon was having a Father's Day special so I immediately ordered it. This Chulux is simple to operate and makes a fabulous cup of coffee. I haven't experienced any problems with the Chulux. Coffee is hot and flavorable and NO coffee grinds in my cup or in the coffee maker. Love it.

Simply the best. Very compact, easy to use, hot beverage in under 4 min! Lid lifts fully for filling (has a small removable stainless filter basket so nothing else gets in the water chamber in case you're sloppy). Love the color! The cup rack is removable in case your container is taller. I use a 12 oz mug, fill it with the amount of water & pour it directly into maker. Purchased reusable stainless wire pods & have used them for both coffee & loose tea..I fill the pods 3/4 full, get perfect drink every time. So much better than having a big pot to reheat or keep hot. Loose tea is much better too, no timing when to remove the tea bag. Quick hot water for cocoa as well! Nothing negative to say!! No spurting as some other review said. Picture of reusable kcups I also purchased on Amazon, they work perfectly (4 in pkg) & should hold up well if not abused!

I've always wanted one of these k cup coffee makers, but could not afford the Keurig brand. This one is great so far! I've had it about a month and I use it several times a day...for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I love the fun colors too! I purchased the orange one and it goes well with my retro kitchen. Update...I’ve been using this daily for about 9 months, and it’s still working well!

As I sip my second cup (large mug) of coffee made with CHULUX, I am beyond the moon with delight. A mini Ceurig (miss spell intentional) that gives you, in about 3 minutes, a steaming cup of brewed coffee, no muss, no fuss. No grinds to dispose of, no coffee pot parts to wash; I've had a French press, a percolator, another brand that brewed one cup at a time (coffee was never hot).WE HAVE A WINNER HERE!! Plus, I was amazed at the tiny footprint this machine has-I lack counter space-my machine sits on 3.5" width of counter. My only suggestion is be aware you can only brew 12oz-so make sure you have a measuring cup or a mug that you know measures 12oz. Buy and enjoy the coffee!!

This coffee maker would be great for a guest room, travel, boats and RVs. Here’s why: PROs - Brewing time consistently ranges from 2 min 58 seconds to 3 min 15 seconds. - Heats liquid to 162 degrees. - Lightweight, compact design for travel and small countertops. - Easy to follow instructions written on side - great for guests. - Allows up to 6” tall travel mug when tray is removed and 12 oz of liquid. - Has a filter to keep particles from getting into water reservoir. - Easy to pour water into reservoir. The main opening is small but has a large square area around that catches and funnels any spills. - Great value! - Clean styling. CONs No performance issues yet. Only two very minor complaints: - When the tray is removed to allow for a taller mug, there are two ridges on the bottom that cause the cup to be unstable and tip slightly if the cup is not wide enough. - Lack of other color options such as white or stainless/gray. - The plastic does look a little cheap but that’s to be expected at this price range. I purchased this coffee maker for our boat, where space is extremely limited. There are lots of single serve options out there, but none that are less than 10” high, which is the exact space between the galley counter and overhead cupboard. I bought this machine solely based on its size and was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It is a bonus that the instructions are written directly on the side, so that friends can see for themselves how to use it. It would be great for a guest room and is so lightweight it would be easy to pack. I wasn’t looking for perfection, but it actually brews a hotter cup than our current single serve Cuisinart. It may take a bit longer, but I’m not one to mind waiting a couple minutes more for a hotter cup. Our former Keurig never brewed this hot before it died. That one was crap - especially for the high price. I don’t expect this one to last forever but we’ll see... So far so good. Recommend! PS - I feel compelled to add that the “coffee exploding” complaint can be an issue with any brand, if you don’t push the K cup completely down, rather than relying on the top to compress it for you. This happened with our Cuisinart also. The coffee will explode out the top when the K cup has not been pushed down properly and punctured at the bottom. Also I believe in using filtered or bottled water, which is recommended to keep calcium deposits from forming. I have tried using both tap and filtered, and it’s not just a taste issue. The machine does last longer. If you occasionally clean the spout, that helps as well.

Simple functionality and reliable. Slow to brew but convenient. Fills with one cup of water at a time which is not an issue for me. Would purchase again. Consider voting helpful please.

I had the very first consumer oriented Keurig machine. I had it before anyone jumped on board the K-cup train. All my friends and family mocked me for paying 50 cents for a k-cup for one cup of coffee. I just loved the commercial units we had in the office and grabbed the first k-cup machine available for the home. The convenience, the zero cleanup factor. Love it. Now many years later, everyone has a k-cup machine. Everyone that mocked me. Well, that faithful old K-cup brewer finally stopped working properly. It was built like a tank and lasted approx two decades! So what to buy? Well this old one took up a lot of space on the counter. So I started looking at the smaller Keurig machines. Every review on all the new keurig machines pointed to poor quality and short lifespan. I dont know if I will get another twenty years out of my next coffee brewer, but I dont want it to last just a few months either! All of the info pointed to a real drop in quality from the K brand. I didnt even realize that other companies made brewers for the K-cups. I did some research, and discovered the Chulux! Plus it is my favorite color, Orange! At one-third the price of the comparable K brand units, this machine has some awesome reviews. So I took a shot and bought it. Its been a few weeks, so I have had a chance to really get to know this machine. It literally takes about 2 minutes to brew a cup of coffee. It takes up a very tiny space on my counter. It makes great coffee! And with no water tank, the water stays clean and fresh. No stale taste with old water. 12 ounces is plenty for most mugs. My old machine was only 8 max. I really love this machine so far. Downsides? The knob on top that locks the unit for brewing is cheap plastic, and I am unsure how it would hold up. But when I examined the new small units from the K brand, they were even more cheap feeling. Especially in the mechanism that opens and closes the k-cup chamber. So i will consider this one on par in this area. So far so good. I really dig this coffee maker! I may buy another one for my RV! Well, now Im gonna go brew me a cup!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this K-Cup coffee maker. This is my fifth one--I own two and have given three for gifts. This is the best K-Cup coffee maker there is for several reasons. (1) One cup of delicious hot brewed coffee, every time in about 5 minutes. Fast! (2) It's tiny, compact size doesn't overwhelm your counter. It's only 10" high by 4" wide by 7" deep. Mine's right next to my 12-cup coffeemaker, which I only use for company now. (3) Ease of use: Fill your coffee cup with spring water, twist the knob on top and pour it in, drop in the K-cup, put coffee cup underneath and push the button on the side. Done! (4) You don't have to wash anything--just clean it by running vinegar and water through a cycle every once in awhile. (5) It comes in a lot of nice, bright colors as well as standard black and white. (6) You can take it with you if traveling (road trip)--it's that small. (7) Saves a lot of money at the drive-thru. (8) Worth every penny that it cost! Do your research on K-Cup makers, and you'll probably end up here. Love mine!
