Impressive
An impressive battery maintainer, for the size, price, and reliability. It works just as indicated by the manufacturer. I've had it now for a few months and it has worked flawlessly. For those thinking of buying one, be aware that this is not a battery charger. It puts out just a little over one amp an hour, so it will take a long time, even days, to bring a battery up to full charge. I use it on my Grand Cherokee which is equipped for off-road and I take this vehicle out once or twice monthly. When the light is red it is charging, then as it approaches full charge a green light blinks. Then when fully charge the green light glows steadily. It is very sensitive detecting what the battery needs: if you open a door and the interior lights come on, it will briefly blink green, and within a minute or so, it will glow green again. Fantastic!

Inexpensive way to keep battery charged
As a retiree, I was using my car for a lot of very short trips in the winter. The car was not driven far enough to fully recharge the battery. Eventually, the car would not start. In the past, I have found that batteries usually fail suddenly while this time I could tell that the cranking was slowing down over a few weeks. I decided to try buying a battery charger. The unit arrived in two days and after an overnight charge, the car was back to normal. This saved me the cost of both a new battery and a service charge to get a jump. It's not real fast but it works perfectly.

Powerful and works just like it is supposed to
My other battery tender bit the dust and quit completely . I saw this one on Amazon and the price was much less than I gave for the other one. I decided to take a chance and I am very glad I did. It works just as described and is a very good product. It works like one that cost much more than this one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a battery tender. I use it on a Goldwing motorcycle.

Works for me
Just what I needed for my car. I take many short trips and the battery wears down in cold weather. The battery is only 6 months old and I had it checked plus my charging system is good. The clips work fine on my lawn tractor and brought the battery to full charge. On the tractor the charger performed as per the instructions, it did blink when approaching full charge. On a car battery it goes straight from red to green when done. The one draw back is the round connectors won't fit a side post car battery. I took a cigarette charger from an old spot light and spliced it onto the that cord. Works great and is ready to use any time as long as the lighter socket stays hot when the ignition is off. You can buy these ready made if you want one.

This battery tender works great. IT comes with two cables
This battery tender works great. IT comes with two cables, one that clips onto a batteries terminals and another that bolts on to terminals. This gives you the opportunity to use it on multiple vehicles without breaking out the tools each time. It holds the battery on my motorcycle up well. The battery in my wife's car was dead and I hooked this charger up overnight. The next morning it was fully charged and I haven't had any problems since.

Morange charger
Great small 1000ma charger with indicator lights to let you know quickly what the status of your battery/charge is. Charged my 18ah battery very fast and went into float mode. Indicator lights include: flashing red - not charging battery, solid red - battery charging, flashing green - battery greater than 80% charged, solid green - fully charged (float mode). Would recommend, especially over chargers without indicator lights.

Great for motorcycle batteries.
I wasn't sure if this would work to keep my motorcycle battery charged when I wasn't riding. I was wrong, and no significant boost in energy costs.

Great product, especially for the price
I got this for my truck. I have a premium battery it is a 60 amp hour battery. This item was exactly as described and then some. The description said that it would maintain this type of battery only, but it also fully charged my battery too. In all honesty it took quite a while to charge it to 100%, but the description said maintain only for my battery. I was happy that it did both, especially for the price. I would definitely recommend.

Simple and effecient
When my emergency backup generator didn't start during a recent power outage, I discovered the starter battery was dead, most likely of old age. I purchased and installed a new 12v battery and monitored its voltage. When the generator ran it's weekly 20 minute exercise cycle the voltage would increase to about 13.6v as it was being "charged" by the generator. Overnight (with temperatures dropping near freezing) the voltage dropped under 12, which isn't a good thing for trying to maintain a healthy battery. So I needed to come up with a better solution to keeping the battery topped-off, than the once-a-week boost from the generator. I settled on this unit because of it's variety of battery and charge settings, including ability to charge a lithium-ion battery which I have in my RV, and it's "smart" technology that I've learned is very important after ruining many batteries due to my negligence in maintaining properly. Loved that it came with optional connecting types and 'quick-connect' plug. TIP: set the battery type/charging mode after plugging unit in, but before connecting to battery. Just as the manual explains, the battery voltage reached and remained around 14.3v for a couple days (absorption stage) and has since been holding around 13.4v in the float stage. I may or may not leave the charger plugged in full-time as I monitor how well it will hold a full charge with a once-a-week charge from the generator during the summer when it is hotter and the battery looses less voltage overnight.

These are well worth the price!!!
I love these things, I bought 5 of them and they work great. Because they come with different connectors they can easily charge different equipment. I have one on my tractor, mower, brush cutter, UTV, and Harley.
