Very bright LED and Useful power switch

I ordered 10 of these to replace the lights in my travel trailer. I prefer LED lighting and I also liked the idea of heat reduction, since the original lights put off a lot of heat. This was the second brand I purchased. The previous LED brand I purchased was good, but I could not tell if it was really brighter than the bulb lights that came with my trailer. When I installed the first one of these, I could tell immediately that the light was much brighter than both the bulb light and the other brand LED light I had installed. These were cheaper than the other brand LEDs too. One more feature this light has is that you can turn it to light one side, two sides, or off. That is pretty cool. If I have to purchase again, I will certainly buy this brand and product.

INSTALL in REVERSE!!!

WARNING, Other reviewers are correct regarding installation. We installed what we thought was correct. No lights. Everything checked out perfect with the meter, 12 volts. What are the odds that BOTH would not work? Decided to come back to amazon to see others reviews, I wished we would have done this first, it would have saved a ton of aggravation. We reversed the wiring and they worked PERFECTLY, super bright.

This is my second order of these lights. They really make a difference - I estimate they are 3x brighter than other LEDs. My motor home came with the "barrell" LEDs (which I thought looked pretty bright). Then I noticed one of these was installed over the sink and was so much brighter, so I took a chance and ordered these. Very easy install. I ordered 2 just to see if I liked them in the living area, and quickly ordered enough to replace every light in my coach. I've only had them a few months so can't comment on longevity. The only drawback is if one burns out, you have to replace the whole unit. Overall, I'm very happy I bought these and took the time to replace my old lights and would do it again if needed.

GREAT Product and a terrific VALUE

This is a great product. I have tried installing the replacement LED lamps that are available. I even bought the brightest and the highest output available only to be disappointed either the lighting effect provided or the LED lamps not staying in place within the fixture. I came across this fixture in the single lamp style and installed two in my RV bedroom to have better lighting into the closets. They worked so well I came back and bought this unit for the Living room/Kitchen area. It works great, gives more light than any LED lamp replacement and is easy to install. The product is made of quality material and yet lightweight. I strongly recommend this fixture to anyone with an RV or other 12 volt lighting need. The other great thing in my case is that this lamp is just slightly wider and longer than the original so hiding screw holes is not an issue.

Great replacement for incandescent RV lighting.

Ordered 3 of these to replace Incandescent lighting in my Winnebago Motor Home. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! If you're looking for a whiter light than the incandescent wedge bulbs, this is a great option. I will be ordering 6 more to finish the change-out. They work well with a pulse-duration type dimmer, available also on Amazon from a different vendor. While the LED's are NOT REPLACEABLE, they should last a long time. They are THINNER than the original lighting, and the 3-way switch gives you an option on the light output. I am an Electrical Engineer, these are a great buy. Being LED's, they are polarity sensitive. If they don't work, reverse the 12v + and - wires to the light fixture. I really like them. UPDATE: Ordered and received 6 more to finish the replacement of the incandescent lights in my motor home. I had to wait before placing the order because Amazon was out of stock for a couple of weeks. So far, I am very pleased with the lights, and recommend them to replace any incandescent lights you currently may have. AND the price is right!!!

Lights came in perfect condition, packed well to prevent damage in transit

Replacing old lights in A-frame camper with LED lights to conserve electricity because I generally dry camp and do not bring a generator. Lights came in perfect condition, packed well to prevent damage in transit. Bought these lights to replace similar units with incandescent bulbs. thought about just buying replacement led bulbs but got these replacements for roughly the same price as better quality led's plus gained the 3 position switch that I did not have before. These lights are bright, not sure will have to ever use the 2 bulb setting.

Great product and value!

This newer style of fixture is great! Light is diffused better that the older Lumitronics style, and the two-way switch allows you to use either one or both led bulbs, as you so desire. The lumens of the bulbs mounted in this fixture is significantly brighter than the older incandescent fixture that uses the older style "hot" bulb. You will be glad you converted to this light fixture, which by the way is not much more costly that buying two led bulbs alone! Great value!

A great light replacement for our Travel Trailer

This is a superior lighting product! I installed it to replace a thicker unit that had a failed switch. We were amazed by the light output compared to the old quartz lamps! I have been replacing quartz with LED's throughout the trailer, but now I'm convinced I just need to replace all my interior lights with this unit!! The three way switch gives a capability for output selection that we never had before. I'll be buying at least 4 more units very very soon!

A bit yellow but impressive amount of warm light for little $$

I originally ordered 2 of these to use as shells for some LED bulbs I've been experimenting with; they were inexpensive enough to consider disposable. But I had to light one up just to see what they could do.... WOW ! Lots of light with an impressive distribution. I have 1 of them in a 10'x12' workshop as a "night light" and I could read a paper in just about any part of the room. They are a little too "warm" for my tastes, color indexes are way too subjective but they are more yellow than white or blue; 2900 maybe, and I shoot for about a 3500. Even the wife likes them so now I need to get a few more for the camper. update: So far these have been a huge upgrade to the original incandescent lights in our RV. Price can't be beat. Only potential drawback is that there isn't a replaceable bulb. If they last half as long as they're rated for that won't be a problem. I have a couple hundred hours on the first one I got to test and it's still going strong. Have purchased 8, might get a few more. Side note: One other comment mentioned TV interference and I have 1, mounted close to the antenna, that does cause interference.

Like it

The standard LED lights in my new travel trailer were horrible. They got hot, and produced a glaring, cold light. These are a warmer color temperature, they don't get hot, and give an overall nicer quality of light. Plenty bright, and they can be switched to half power for less light. I would get them again.
